Just wanted to point out that the graphic has a "DNS extractor". --dayfat 15:09, 27 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Is it just me... of have the frequency of syringes dramatically increased recently? Gibso 09:13, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)

I'd actually had that thought too, but figured it might be due to generators being on. Is that book thing for real, though? --Biscuit 19:53, 30 Nov 2005 (GMT)

I'll correct the spelling with tonight's update of my stuff (oops!). I'll also split the data now that we have books to deal with. Tiarnach 14:25, 1 Dec 2005 (GMT)

  • Does any one know if the search odds are affected by skills a character has? Specifically, is there a chance that my character's lack of NT Employment and NT Lab Assistant will affect the outcome?
    • Makes no difference. Spook 17:24, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)

Has the probability increased again? Spook 17:24, 9 Jan 2006 (GMT)

Eyeballing the data, it doesn't look it - It still looks 1/5 within error. -- Odd Starter talk | Mod 00:31, 10 Jan 2006 (GMT)
From in-game, it seems like its gone up to 15% again, i'm getting 3 times as many synringes. Maybe something to do with the change in zombie/survivor balance? Spook 18:40, 11 Jan 2006 (GMT)

I have actually been able to find needles in ruined NTs. I thought it was a fluke at first, but have tried it in several other ruined NTs with success. What's up with that?--Airborne88Zzz1.JPGT|ZC|MI|E!|[1] 03:18, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean "what's up with that"? Search odds in Ruins aren't zero, they're about 10% and by actually reading the article tis is a talk page of, you could see my 199 searchs in ruined NTs that yielded 9 syrings, 6 DNA extractors and 5 GPS units. --~~~~ [talk] 07:12, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
It's funny, that's about a 1 in 20 rate on syringes. That's what it used to be in a powered NT, a long time ago. The Malton Globetrotters#31 - TastyNougat TMG 04:42, 30 April 2008 (BST)
Haven't been 1 in 20 for a long time, 2 years abouts. Not to mention that data from ruin searching is outdated so it's probably better than that.--Karekmaps?! 10:23, 30 April 2008 (BST)

My results are leaning towards the statement in the analysis section. I'm glad somebody else noticed. Nobody202 06:03, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
