Talk to us! Billy Forks 21:59, 16 August 2008 (BST)

Great partying with you tonight!

The Jillard building was delicious. We might hang around for a day or two while we decide which way to shamble next. Hope to see you guys around! Vito Mortis 1:23, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Ha, thanks! It was great to stumble across your party! I've also found that it's impossible to say "radio" as a zombie ingame (and one of your guys killed the transmitter before I could gesture at it), but I've got one on me stuck to 27.55, and if that stuff on the airwaves lately has been you guys, it's been hilarious to listen to. -- Jen T | SFHNAS | PK 11:34, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

So, how's business with the RRF taking all your fun? Apocalyptic doom 04:13, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

It's all good. We've gotten to eat plenty of the local survivors, and the place looks really good in that uniform dark grey. We welcome visiting hordes, because with our small numbers (and as the only organised zombie group in K'bank) we have no chance of ruining the suburb on our own. When hordes appear, we just try to guide them to nourishing buildings by feeding groans. How's Ebbutt Road? Good revive rates? Billy Forks 12:05, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Cool idea

I like this idea. It would be fascinating to see if a larger group could form and keep as large an area as possible ruined; possibly keep a mall or a mansion down, or even an entire area of a usually-green suburb. The RRF, for one, has had a lot of success keeping Ridleybank red for nearly the entire history of the game, but I wonder how well that would work in a historically safe suburb.

Oh well, I'm just rambling now. Good luck with your group. --Pestolence(talk) 02:28, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, it's going well at the moment - we've got onto the stats page, and that's enough zombies to make our immediate area quite dangerous. We're still actively recruiting, and we have some new ideas to try out in the new year. Watch this space! Billy Forks 10:28, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I quite like Pestolence's idea-imagine if a horde like yours sprung up in Dulson-a survivor stronghold for nearly the whole history of the game? Linkthewindow  Talk  10:33, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I've only been around for a year (nearly) but Kempsterbank has been green or yellow for most of the time, I think. We're near enough the centre for big hordes to come and stir things up from time to time, which probably happens less often in Dulston (a place I don't know at all really). I originally planned to set up shop at Bromley Auto Repair in Pitneybank, and made a character to do so, when I got in to an argument as Billy Forks. I think it's worked better this way - the level of passing traffic and the strategic importance of Bromley AR would have made it nearly impossible to establish a group. Billy Forks 15:15, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Indeed...Kempsterbank was about as boring a suburb as Dulston, whenever I'd visited it. And Dulston already has Infected Swarm and Hel's Daughters dedicated to making it a bit less safe...the poor south had nothing. ;) Very much like the NE, this middle-southern region was a place absolutely crying out for a devoted zombie group. --MillaD 16:07, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
That's true, I wasn't saying that Dulson didn't have any zombie groups. However, a group like yours (dedicated to holding a specific location,) could make things a bit interesting-even if you took out one of the southern hospitals, then that could start to annoy the DA, which keeps Dulson quite safe most of the time. Recruitment Ad

Stop hand.png Recruitment
Your ad has been removed from the Recruitment page because of rules violation, specifically your image is too large. There is a guide here. Please re-add it if you are still active and recruiting.

I'm sorry, but the image (header) in your ad is larger than 76,000 pixels. I've hidden your ad on the recruitment page. Feel free to correct the problem and repost it. Thanks! --Lois talk 10MFH 11:59, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

The image is fine, there's scaling code in the recruitment ad itself. Billy Forks 12:32, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Your scaling code gives the ad a width of 550px. The dimensions are 550px by 175px or 96,250 pixels. The rules state: "Images are limited to a total of 76,000 pixels, which allows 275 pixels square, or a similar area (multiple images that total under this size are allowed)." You need to adjust the scaling so that the image conforms with the requirements.--Lois talk 10MFH 12:51, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

SFHNAS Status Map

Hey Billy,

What do you think about putting something like this on the SFHNAS page:SFHNAS Status Map? We might want to check with MOB, as I ripped some of it from the MOB/Locator page.--Twiceshy 19:22, 3 May 2009 (BST)

Hmm. maybe not the whole suburb, but maybe. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:25, 3 May 2009 (BST)
Maybe a 3x3 or 4x4 radius around St. Ferreol's? Also, if I may make a suggestion, replace the word statuses ("dark", "ruined", etc.) with colors and add a key, like in the map on this page. --Pestolence(talk) 20:13, 3 May 2009 (BST)
I like those ideas! I will work on that, but I may swiftly exceed my wiki skill set!--Twiceshy 20:44, 3 May 2009 (BST)
Good luck! I will try to help out if you need my help, however Ross may be the one to ask for help as he is more experienced with coding than I am. --Pestolence(talk) 01:05, 4 May 2009 (BST)
Something a little more like this:SFHNAS Map? What do you think? Getting closer? It still needs work, but I agree it is much better to have a narrower focus. --Twiceshy 06:57, 4 May 2009 (BST)
I came up with this, which would need an image for each street and 3 for each building (lit, repaired, ruined):

Sample.png

A couple of thoughts, though: Is it going to be more use to the breathers than us? and is it going to be updated regularly? These questions are maybe better discussed in our forum. Billy Forks 18:22, 4 May 2009 (BST)== SFHNAS Area Report (NE Corner of Kempsterbank) ==

Wake Up!

I'm a newcomer to this area, but it looks to me like there are 20+ zombies camped outside St. Ferreol's for no good reason. Ok, so you're all here because your founder (long retired) had his feelings hurt by people who probably left this hospital four years ago. I can understand that. But attacking the hospital directly has to be the worst possible way to attack the hospital. There are six hospitals within a four block radius from St. Ferreol's. Even if we take down the barricades, ransack the building, kill every survivor, and hold the hospital, survivors are getting their FAKs right next door at Titus General, and just using SFHNAS as a Trenchcoat Ranch. Nobody's feelings are hurt if we attack hospitals in this area!

Consider other resources in this area: within that same four block radius which holds six hospitals, there is only one NecroTech building (the Jillard Building), only three police departments (Burdett Way Police Department, Barnerd Way Police Department, and Hudson Place Police Department), and only three fire stations (Penni Drive Fire Station, Barnett Boulevard Fire Station, and Nunn Row Fire Station).

If we pick a time for us all to attack the Jillard Building, it will probably come as a complete surprise, considering we're all camped outside Ferreol's and do nothing but attack Ferreol's. I'd wager we could take Jillard before the survivors know what's hit them, and with Jillard in our hands, they need to go all the way across the suburb to the Dobbs Building or to another suburb for syringes.

Get the drift? With Jillard down, our numbers will increase slightly with Dual Natures. With a little recruiting, we can start hitting police departments. After that, maybe the fire stations, and then hit the hospitals. At that point, survivors in this area have no syringes, no ammo, no flare guns, and no FAKs, and it's no problem holding down Ferreol's.

Ambitious? Yes. But it sure looks to me like SFHNAS is a group which hasn't communicated with each other at all since last year. With some communication, you can sure as hell be better than a trenchcoat ranch. Hddndpunod 03:58, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Because the hospital is the point of the group? Zone of influence expands and contracts, At the minute the group effectively sucks up most of the attention of most of the KT's, one of the top 6 survivor groups in Malton, and all over an entirely pointless building, its a guaranteed levelling hotspot for survivors and zombies alike and perfect for death cultists. (Go one step north of the hospital and you'll get revived inside a day, even wearing st ferreols tags). For better coordination, get yourself a Satphone. As for maps. http://dssrzs.org/map/location/57-72 is easier. Do we attract trenchies? Yes, and thats a fantastic point. Heaven forfend they actually go somewhere where they could make a difference. --Rosslessness 10:17, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Trenchies Ross?? St. F's pointless? I'm stunned and a little hurt by this. I thought we meant something to each other. I thought our relationship was beyond silly tactics and strategy. Sure there are a lot of other hospitals in town, but we love St. F's the mostest! Obviously since we've spent more time in there the last few months than we've spent at our own HQ :).-Roddy Winters 03:52, 28 March 2012 (BST)
There is now a pile of twenty-seven corpses outside the hospital. I have been headshot three days consecutively. The only experience I've made during that period was biting back someone who bit me. I fail to see how this is a good leveling hotspot. I'm leaving as soon as I have the AP. Hddndpunod 10:00, 3 April 2012 (BST)
sorry to hear that, wondered why you would bite someone who bit you?? Next time you're back, we'll organise a few strikes for you. At the moment, 9 buildings ruined, several more cracked each day. Must have hit a poor patch.--Rosslessness 19:27, 18 June 2012 (BST)

Teh Hospital

You know the one. See, I'm allergic to forums, and as much as I enjoy hitting cades over and over again only for them to be back at EHB, it sure would be nice to coordinate. Great Suburb Group Massacre 2013

I'm a volunteer helping to do some janitorial work on the suburb pages of the wiki. As part of that, we're double-checking in which suburbs each group is active. Currently, you're listed in one or more suburbs, in addition to using a radio frequency. If you would like to continue being listed, then please respond within the next month with the radio frequency you are using and a list of every suburb where you are currently active. If we don't hear back from you or we can't get the information we need, we'll be removing you from the lists, but you're welcome to re-add yourself later. If you have any questions, feel free to visit our informational page. Thanks. --RWSig1.png RWSig2.pngFoD PK Praise Rando! 13:21, 25 October 2013 (BST)
