Note: The 3rd Waye do not use the wiki but are very much active in-game. If you are representing the suburb massacre, check with Cheese as he can vouch for their activity.

Hey There!

I like y'all! As was stated in your SH I(*edit- one of my alts, please see my wiki page) am a PKer, but you all were very nice to me! I will never PK any of you ever! I love you all due to your leader's kindness! It is a shame that someone else (not your group) had to chase me away. I wish you all the best of luck! Laters! --plscks 07:53, 17 May 2009 (BST)

Hello, Waye.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax --
Of cabbages -- and kings --
And why the sea is boiling hot --
And whether pigs have wings."

So. What shall we talk about? Let us pretend we sit within the confines of the Shickell Arms and are not restricted by ‘fifty action points’ and '250 characters per line' and discuss the recent phenom. I'll pour the first round--Tencher Grist 03:27, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm disappointed.

This morning I was told in-game "I hope you and Red Rum are happy. Most of 3rd Waye has left."

Mick, what happened to your speech?

As I told Red Rum: I was a bystander in the beginning when ozzel came by and killed one of you. I decided to stick around--and then another came. I revived them. So I began documenting everything as a kind of character study, healing and reviving as time passed. Some great roleplaying occured, including that speech. A member of Red Rum told you to come by the forum. One of you said 'we don't need forums.' If you had come by, you would have found was Pathea did: a timeline of the past few days, and some great interaction between characters, particularly Mick, Seifer, Jack Torrance, Faunt, Blink and Suburban Ed.

Faunt wrote '10 minutes to fun!' on the board, and I figured people were going to pay a visit--I went to the Arms, began typing a cryptic warning--and, to my surprise (no lie), they came and in one minute wiped everyone out. I was literally typing an in-game text--by the time I was done verifying my latin, there were 15 bodies on the floor and I was at half health. I was actually startled in real life. Damn! I've never seen anything like that! And I died alongside you--because though I chronicled the entire affair, I am not Red Rum.

This game is absurd and ridiculous to start with, but taking it personally is moreso. It's a series of zeros and ones in an anonymous digital medium. It's a hole opened up that we throw time into. Having read the 'goodbye speech' on the Red Rum board really confused me. You see the 'direction' UD is going? It's been that way since the beginning, according to the Wiki. Survivors, Zeds and PK'ers. Only this time, it was 3rd Waye's misfortune to be on the receiving end--so you're going to chuck that entire missive of a speech because of inevitability?

Anyway, I find it a shame. I was going to help clean up (yeah, I know, you don't need my help) and move on, start new hilarity and riot, offer inane banter...thsi isn't like World War 2, guys. Rebuilding is a matter of logging in and standing up. No one has been violated--and if you feel that way, you really should take a break, because this interruption was as meaningless as pointing and clicking on a button that results in 'You dropped your lead pipe.'

Anyway, if you're angry, that's your prerogative. It's just a shame to see Mick's speech suddenly meaningless. I enjoyed it, and wanted more.

Take care.

--Tencher Grist 17:06, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

As the Psuedo-leaders of Red Rum, I have this to say: Don't take it personally. You were randomly selected (the threat of the hacking from one of your members came after we'd already been planning the assault) and, if anything, we selected you because you appeared to be good players, which are usually the best adversary due to their love of the game.

Like my comrades, I'm somewhat disappointed by you reaction, but I'm not going to tell you what to do. I've always lived by this principle: I will not grief unless the cause is just. If those I have PKed face their tragedy and stay, they deserve to play. If they leave, then they don't. It's that simple.

Good Luck. --Sirens 19:10, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Ownage

Red Rum totally handed you guys your asses tonight. Only pity was it was over before I could get a shot in... Oh well, maybe we'll both be luckier next time, eh? :D --c138 RR 00:13, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

It was a rather clean and fast execution - my only regret is that there weren't more people in there. -- Buncy T 02:34, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

on edge.

in light of recent events I have removed my post and apologize the the members of the 3rd Waye group. if you ever want another alli please feel free to include us as one. our wiki is here: Tactical Area Rescue--Sharline Jade 15:21, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Whoa- that's a fairly aggressive reaction to what was, I feel, a very justified action. They can be aggressive in their safehouse to suspected spies if they so choose. NB: I'm just passing by and offering my opinion, needed or not. --Karloth Vois RR 02:44, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

The Randoms

I am Cheeseman Muncher, Randoms Supreme Commander and I would like to formally request an alliance with your group. Our groups have peacefully coexisted for nearly a year now and I think it would benefit both our groups if we ally together. Please reply as soon as possible. -- Cheeseman W!ASBTalk 21:23, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey, Cheeseman. I can't speak for all of us but I think we would be very interested in an alliance with the Randoms. If the offer still stands then send someone around the the pub and we'll work things out. Thanks. -- Pathea

join the revolution.

you seem to know my brother, powerhouse18, well, i would liek you to join viva la revolution--Darkmagic 22:25, 5 April 2007 (BST)

G.I.F.D.

Can we create a new alliance?--Zyll 13:32, 8 May 2007 (BST)

Hey Zyll. If you'd like to create an alliance with us then send some one over to the pub. I'm sure we would be happy to talk. Thanks. -- Pathea

Attackyness

Over the past week or so, the pub's been broken into pretty much daily, and there's been a constant horde of zombies on our doorstep. Granted, this number seems to have gone down a bit...I've noticed a lot of the bodies aren't standing back up. Possible sign of zerging? Anyway, since the pub's certainly not a point of interest for most, nor is it a resource building, I can only assume someone has a bit of an issue with the Waye. Is this the case? What's going on? I've even noticed graffiti in neighboring squares commanding all zeds to attack the pub. What in the world? -- Evanna 02:02, 13 May 2007 (BST)

Well, nevermind. It seems to be all over now. :) --Evanna 23:13, 1 June 2007 (BST)

Intelligence

Hey Waye:

I'm Jonathan Frey (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=616280) and I'm the new Independant Technician for the Southwest quadrant (self-appointed, of course).

As a guerilla technician, I'm dedicated to keeping the cell masts 'caded, gennie'd and be-fueled. The gennie in your suburb was listed as inactive...is this still the case? It may take a few days, but I've got gennies and fuel, I could swing south if needed.

I ask only the ability to share a safe house.

You can drop me a line on my wiki page.

Look forward to working with you.

Cheers, J. Frey

i would

invite you to vlr--Darkmagic 03:12, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Currently the suburb in question is Buttonville but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a random request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:21, 18 July 2008 (BST)

The 3rd Waye don't use the wiki very much, but as we're in the same suburb as them I can confirm they are around and can vouch for their activity. -- Cheese 17:43, 31 July 2008 (BST)
thanks cheese. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:37, 4 August 2008 (BST)

The Doctor is in...

What is the meaning of this unprovoked attack on the good Dr. Summeroff? Have I crossed paths with the Third Waye before? --Dr summeroff 23:21, 17 August 2008 (BST)

I see you have not only ignored my question but have not even had the decency to offer an apology. So be it. --Dr summeroff 18:48, 22 August 2008 (BST)
Sorry good doctor but as you can see from the above post on our talk page we don't normally check the Wiki. If you have a problem with one of our group members I would suggest you swing by the Shickell Arms in Buttonville and take it up with him. --Pathea
I did. :) --Dr summeroff 02:42, 3 September 2008 (BST)
A friendly word of advice. If you keep offing people then they will keep retaliating. We don't have a blanket policy on PKing but some of our members have a personal policy of an eye for an eye. I personally don't and would like to avoid PKing on all accounts. --Pathea
It was your member Oscarias who began this by Pk'ing me unprovoked. When I came here to see what was up, I was ignored. So I took it into my own hands. We are Cker's, not Pkers. We had no grievance with your group (although we had been Pk'd before by you guys when we were here for a contract a couple months back) until Oscarias began his murder spree. Enough is enough. Since we are between contracts, I and the rest of the forgotten (now enroute as they don't like how the good doctor has been treated on his vacation in Buttonville) are going to focus on killing any Third Waye we see, repeatedly, until you reign that thug in. --Dr summeroff 16:20, 3 September 2008 (BST)
Harkin Banks, you know nothing. Your group did start the matter. Nonetheless, I was willing to see if there could be peace. If you didn't want "Drama", Oscarias shouldn't have started it off. That said, I did not survive the night under the hospitality of the Third Waye. It's business never personal...until someone makes it personal. Which you have now done. The time for talk is over. --Dr summeroff 15:40, 6 September 2008 (BST)

The 3rd Waye is still kicking but we don't check our Wiki very much. Sorry! --Pathea

I see that! *grins* Thanks for letting us know! Do you want help adding your group back to any suburbs? (and if so, which ones? I worked on so many!) --Lois talk 10MFH 14:46, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
We're only active in Buttonville and it looks like we are still listed there so I think we are good. Thanks for the offer though, I really appreciate it.--Pathea

Hey guys!

Are you still about? A bunch of us are waiting in the pub for you to tell us when the quiz starts. (this is dudemeister from the Randoms by the way :D) - Love from Swing XOXOXTalk 21:06, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
