Announcement: Splain Arms Employee Radio

The Splain Arms also makes use of the dedicated Giffard Arms Employee Radio Frequency at 27.28 It is recommended that all employees and regulars carry a radio tuned to this frequency to aid in communication. --Griff 17:45, 27 July 2008 (BST)

Gallery

In addition to a variety of MPD and MFD memorabilia, the Splain also features a small gallery of art work, donated or given as gifts by friends and visitors. On permanent display are:

A Contemporary Paintingby Mark Rothko ("Untitled"). Given as a gift by User:Blazing Saddle.

A Cubist Sculptureby Alberto Giacometti. Given as a gift by User:John Cannonfodder.

A Torn Painting by Cassius Coolidge ("A Friend in Need"). Given as a gift by User:BriAnna Blackmoor.

A Historical Tapestry showing Bri, Griff "and their whole ragamuffin family sharing drinks inside the Splain. The images of the people are done down to the tiniest detail". Created and given as a gift by User:Firenomad.
