The USIT Defense of Eric Harris

I see that USIT has decided it is no longer sufficient to merely investigate matters in Malton, but they now feel they must interfere and as seems so often the case with US organisations, arrogantly attempt to force unwanted belief systems upon extant residents of an area.

USIT's announcement that it is not only offering safe harbour to the infamous PKer and GKer Eric Harris, but that they will commit murder themselves to defend his right to supposedly turn over a new leaf, finally shows the organisation in it's true colours.

In peacetime, Harris's crimes would warrant nothing less than life imprisonment and no amount of pleading "I am a new man" would change that. In time of "war" - even such a war as this, summary execution is our only possible recourse. Those choosing violate the system of justice in such an abhorrent way should be considered accomplices at the least.

And on an OOC note - this guy is a complete scumbag. I cannot understand why an otherwise reasonable group of players have decided he warrants a second chance - this is more like his fifth chance and every single time so far he has been given the benefit of the doubt he has lost no time in biting (off) the hand that feeds him as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Even his character's name (and his orginal MO) is calculated to give offense, glorifying the horrific events at Columbine. If he wants a clean slate he can roll a new character and that's all there is to it. Eric Harris is KOS to so many groups in Malton it's beyond belief and if you think some misguided "moral stand" by USIT and the Ranahan survivors will change that then you are living in a dreamworld. --Kal 02:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

General Discussion

Y'all do realize that UrbanDead's Malton is a city in the United Kingdom, right? Daniel Hicken 20:04, 18 October 2006 (BST)

Absolutely, chap, we're probably one of the few "Yank outfits" that bothered to read the city's back story. We also got a back story as to why we've been tasked here, and theories why so many elite U.S. units and assets (Omega Company USCMC, S.T.A.R.S. for example) are deployed here as well. Stay tuned, or do some research over the wiki.--The Envoy 21:34, 18 October 2006 (BST)

Walk-in interviews are also currently being accepted at our field offices in Shearbank.

The Fog

the fog seems to have nerfed my ability to freerun out of my stickling mall, that seems like tactical information. --Kaminobob 23:58, 31 October 2006 (UTC) (kaminobob, military reporter)

Whiskey bottles, et al

Waste of a perfectly good malt, but I digress... No, it seems unlikely Omega Company was targetted specifically by Eric Harris. The action it seemed to me was intended so as to smear the name of the PTT by masquerading as a member of the group. I've warned them of this here, and frankly, I don't see how he thought he could have gotten away with such a crude ploy considering his history.

As for the anti-Omega Company grafitti, it's not the only propaganda I've seen around Shearbank, most of which can be clearly attributed to Z's (or at least the combat revived kind). I would think those would be the most likely culprits, as with the anti-PTT slogans I've also seen. Huntley Heights has similar tagging featuring anti-4H propaganda clearly attributed to particulat Z groups .--Sgt Toni Reyes Union Flag.png OMEGA 00:10, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
