The Anderson Monument
|The Anderson Monument
Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing in front of the monument:
"You are at the Anderson Monument, an abstract concrete sculpture at the top of a low flight of steps."
Columbia Astronaut Michael P. Anderson Memorialized in Bronze
A statue honoring Columbia astronaut Michael P. Anderson. Anderson and his six crew mates lost their lives when Columbia broke apart on reentry on February 1, 2003.
A recent monument, named after a crew member on the ill-fated Columbia. It was opened a few months before the outbreak. Post-outbreak, it isn't very notable any more, except some passing survivors can still be seen admiring it's incredible bronze handiwork.
