It is functionally equivalent to a street, except that players with the Tagging skill can gain 2 XP for writing graffiti on a monument. This is, game-play wise, an empty block, and cannot be barricaded.

A statue honoring Columbia astronaut Michael P. Anderson. Anderson and his six crew mates lost their lives when Columbia broke apart on reentry on February 1, 2003.

A recent monument, named after a crew member on the ill-fated Columbia. It was opened a few months before the outbreak. Post-outbreak, it isn't very notable any more, except some passing survivors can still be seen admiring it's incredible bronze handiwork.
