They're occasionally a NecroTech front. NecroTech buildings can only be identified as such from the street by characters (living or dead) with NecroTech Employment; characters with this skill will see "[NT]" appended to the end of the building's name. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

The Barrow Building in Central Danversbank houses the Mobile Phone Mast for the suburb, which is located in the South East area of the city. The Barrow Building is a hardened EHB safe house. It is maintained by the Danversbank Relief and Reconstruction Project in order to provide mobile phone services for survivors within the Danversbank area. Barrow is maintained in accordance with the Provisional Danversbank Barricade Plan.

As the Barrow Building is a frequent target for zombie attacks it is barricaded to EHB at all times.

NB: For survivors with Free Running ability the usual entry points for this building are The Poulet Museum (1SE), Lea Avenue Fire Station (1N 1NE) and Martha General Hospital (Danversbank) (1SW).
