They're occasionally a NecroTech front. NecroTech buildings can only be identified as such from the street by characters (living or dead) with NecroTech Employment; characters with this skill will see "[NT]" appended to the end of the building's name. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

Chock full of highly advanced technical and scientific equipment, now covered with a thick layer of dust.

Rooms in the building are marked with the following names:

• Mister Zedtastic and The Invisible Zombie-Woman.
• The Zombie Torch.
• The Zombie Thing.

However, these tenants have not been seen for years.

The Baxter building was once the home to the zombie Fantastic Four, narrowing down the current speculation of Malton's location to Earth-2149 at the very least.
