They're occasionally a NecroTech front. NecroTech buildings can only be identified as such from the street by characters (living or dead) with NecroTech Employment; characters with this skill will see "[NT]" appended to the end of the building's name. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

You are standing outside the Bornard Building, a tall metal-and-glass building.

One of the two most well know buildings frequented by KNW members, this building is often a safe bet for sleeping in due to its central location in the middle of the suburb and being surrounded on all sides by free runnable buildings. Its is usually as a barometer for the suburb as this building is usually the last to go and shows a decent cross section of people in the area.
