Some are NecroTech Buildings and can be identified by the "[NT]" appended to their name if you have the NecroTech Employment skill. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

Looming over Sowth Road, it is a large white-stone building surrounded by burnt-out cars since the early outbreaks of the disease.
