Basic Info:

  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms.

The Craddy Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of Penny Heights. It is one of two such NecroTech buildings located in the suburb. Being located a mere three blocks (with free running) away from Joachim Mall, it is an important part of mall defence and serves as the primary source of revivification syringes for the area. It is also situated right next to the Penny Heights revivification point at Churchous Avenue, and zombified survivors can wait there assured of speedy revivification services. The Craddy Building is directly adjacent to Rundle Auto Repair, making it quick and easy to find fuel to power the generators needed to make maximum use of the NecroTech facilities.
Members of project NecroWatch renovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.

Mandate

Necrotech

NecroTech staff continue to follow directive 42-A, issued by the head office on January 19th 2006, with the activation and manufacture of MK-II revivification syringes. While the cost in time and effort are currently high the certainty provided by being able to manufacture a constant stream of syringes has mitigated early concerns.

The activation of NecroNet with all NecroTech buildings has also allowed scientists to apply the DNA tracking research they have gathered to date. The field research staff stationed at the Craddy Building feel certain that they can crack the mystery surrounding the spread of the virus as well as help monitor aberrant zombie activity within Penny Heights.

NecroNet Reports

Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Craddy Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

Barricade Policy

In accordance with the Penny Heights Barricade Plan, this site is to be kept at Extremely Heavily Barricaded (EHB+4). Due to its high visibility, it is a target for occasional Zombie incursions, so survivors with the free running skill are advised to sleep in adjacent buildings if possible. Local survivor groups routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level.
Craddy was formerly a Rot Revive Point, but given the frequent ransacking and ruining of the building, it was changed and is no longer a RRP. Zeds seeking for a revive are encouraged to look at other Penny Heights RP

Current Status

October 9th, 2010 You are inside the Craddy Building. The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories. The doors to the street have been left wide open. --User:Kiops

July 9th 2010 You are inside the Craddy Building. The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories. The laboratories have been ruined, with broken equipment smashed to the floor. A thin layer of dust covers the debris. The doors to the street have been left wide open. Somebody has spraypainted a red eye onto a wall. There are three zombies here. There is a dead body here.--DiseasedRobot

History

January, 1st 2017 Craddy Crusaders group was officially formed and acquired frequency 27.89 MHz for official revivification operation purposes. Penny Heights' revive point Churchous Ave is still secondary to us as we prefer to revive zeds at the cemetery 2 West of there. We personally feel that any zeds that close to the NT are a threat since we are not a rot revive. Graffiti was tagged all over the outside of the surrounding buildings telling zombies to go to the cemetery for a revive. --Johnny Colorado (talk) 14:56, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

July 9th, 2010 Craddy building and area is powered down and ruined, no survivors within 10 sq blocks. For now only 3 zeds inside Craddy building and atleast a dozen zeds spread out outside the area. Churchous Avenue RP has 6 zeds queued up waiting for revives. Penny height has fallen :O--DiseasedRobot

See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

November 12th, 2006 - The building is at VSB+2 with a generator set up and running. There is a survivor presence inside, and there are no standing Zombies waiting for revives at the nearby Churchous Avenue revive point.

August 18th, 2006 - There are 5-15 zeds in and outside every building from Joachim Mall to 16N of Joachim (the revive point I was at). I shut every door I could to trap zeds inside buildings. There are maybe 20 humans total. The Penny Heights NT building (Craddy) is full of rotters. Tommorrow, I will visit the cemetary 2NW of the mall in Osmondville to revive some of the 20+ I saw there. asheets
