Basic Info:

  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms.

Necrotech
The Greatorex Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of Houldenbank on the eastern border of the quarantine zone. It is a revivification clinic of Rotter's Relief, but has been out of service since early 2012.

History

Members of project NecroWatch renovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.

Barricade Policy

The survivor/vigilante group Rotter's Relief=PKer's Relief asserted management of the building in 2010 and forcibly closed the rot revive clinic in 2011. As such, this building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times in accordance with the Uniform Barricading Policy. It should also remain unlit to discourage zombies from attempting to get inside. Nearby Hosken as well as Owsley and Tribe NT buildings are local sources for NT services.

NecroNet Reports

Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Greatorex Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

Sep 21, 2013 - Rotter's Relief East is temporarily closed. Signage to alternate clinics has been recently posted. http://tinyurl.com/RotHelp Lifehouse 01:49, 21 September 2013 (BST)

Sep 21, 2013 - A sworn foe of Rotter's Relief cannot 'officially' do anything in that group's name, and RR still lists the clinic. Lifehouse 01:49, 21 September 2013 (BST)

Mar 6, 2013 - The clinic has been effectively closed for over a year, and is now officially closed. --Herr Gerdongerdorf 21:43, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Mar 6, 2013 - No rot revives have taken place in Greatorex since early 2012. It is currently an unpowered standard NT building. --Herr Gerdongerdorf 21:43, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Aug 21, 2012 - Imagine my surprise when I venture up to RR East (The Greatorex Building) to find the place shut down and a sign directing me elsewhere. Are there any Relief buildings still open? Aaarrgh 20:57, 21 August 2012 (BST)

Oct 16, 2011 - zerging PKer 15 & zerging PKer 76 (Group: Rolaids=Relief) inside w/ 2 zombies... Son of Sin

Jul 11, 2011 - Griefer activity, or at the very least Anti-RR activity, seems to still be going on in the general area. Imagine my consternation to be alive for a grand total of five minutes before meeting this guy's shotgun. And I'm not even RR. Keep an eye out. -Theofour 03:48, 11 July 2011 (BST)

Mar 7, 2011 - Today after about a week of removing the griefers graffiti and reinstalling the gennies to revive the (DNA scanned) rotters, I got wacked by ZombiePalin who apparently disagrees with the idea of rotters relief. If you see him please KOS as he is promoting the very thing he disagrees with - PKing. --Da Axe Man 03:31, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Feb 20, 2011 - Sadly this is an attempt by griefers to render the Houldenbank branch of Rotter's Relief obsolete. Revives still go on at Greatorex despite the best efforts of our detractors. --Buda Hilton 09:15, 20 February 2011 (GMT)

Feb 16, 2011 - The clinic has seen the writing on the wall... literally, someone wrote "Rot revive clinic closed. Try Stanbury Village." on the wall. --Espemon333 23:36, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Aug 27, 2009 - The revive clinic is having moderate success ocasionally a feral will kill a civilian the only real problems have been with a civilian known as labrat1 who has on multiple occasions smashed the genarater and heavely barricaded the doors also suspected of repeatedly tagging over the clinic sign--Gabriel Jarvis

Mar 23, 2009 - the humans are trying to run the Greatorex building as a revive point. the area is still under attack by pkers and zombies --Newpantheon 12:01, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Dec 5, 2008 - Due to the substantial number of zombies in the suburb, particularly rotters with no desire to be revived, Greatorex is not currently functioning as a rot revive centre MeatGrowBrain 18:39, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Jul 23, 2008 - Foolish harmans have ignored signs pointing out no cades, so there are six or so fleshies hiding in the building, hopefully they'll stay awhile for zombahs to munch on. Padfu-Zomfu 20:07, 23 July 2008 (BST)

Jul 4, 2008 - Center is powered and running. no problems here. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Techercizer (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Sep 19, 2007 - Greatorex has fallen. Four zombies standing outside, the building ruined. The Houlden Building above it is still in operation, generator running, but 29 zombies are standing outside and the bulding is barricaded to the point humans can't get in. -- User:Lyoko 8:07, 19 September 2007 (EST)
