The Johnstone Family was the oldest of the Top Five Families of the Stanbury Village mafia. They ran their business from the Johnstone Towers.

Michael Johnstone

Michael Johnstone was the son of Louie "Blind Eyes" Johnstone. Louie was best friends with Roger Maddaford and together they created the Johnstone crime family. Later on however Jimmy Maddaford would leave the Johnstone Family and create his own. Michael didn't like the idea of them leaving so he declared war on the heretics.

Under his father's power the Johnstone Family controlled all of the southwestern parts of Stanbury Village. Under Michael's power they slowly lost their control over southwestern Stanbury Village and retreated into central and southern parts. Because of this Michael held a grudge against them and raided their buildings every chance he had.

He later had his big break when he ambushed a Maddaford raiding party against The McCulloch Family. Michael walked out with $26 million in cash, gold, jewelry, drugs, and weapons.

Started a short lived mob war with the McCulloch's but ended it when they agreed to go after the Maddafords.

Tom Johnstone

Michael's older brother. Could have been head of the family but turned it down to go into the military. When he came out he saw what the Maddaford's were doing to the family so he joined up with his brother. Was kidnapped by Paulie Wyld and beaten to death.

Ronny Modeford

Ronny Modeford was 17 years old when a Maddaford bomb blew up his father's restaurant. He later joined up with the Johnstone's to get revenge.

When the Families collapsed Ronny found himself running a small vegetable oil business.

Mitch Pantangel

Michael's right hand man. Mitch is in charge of all the Johnstone foot soldiers, aka the family's Capo. Comes from a long line of criminals, most noted is his grandfather that robbed over 75 people in a week through fraud.

End of the Family

Like all other families the Johnstone Family fell at The Great April Fool's Day Massacre. When Michael heard that Jimmy Maddaford was going to rip off The Lorenzo Family and The Cabell Family at a warehouse he organized an attack with the McCullochs.

During the large fight, which left 450 dead, Mitch Pantangel took two bullets to the right leg and was arrested by cops that stormed near the end of the fight. Ronny Modeford was stabbed in the side and limped his way out.

At the end of the fight Police Chief Bunney and Captain Daynes arrested the Five Family leaders. Controversy erupted when it was found out that the two cops waited for them to kill each other so that they could clean up the rest. No charges were filed against them since they said they were looking out for their own safety

Michael Johnstone pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 20 years in jail. This caused controversy since the Judge was known to be on the payroll. Michael got out of jail while serving only 15 years because of good behavior. On his way out of the Shackleville jail he was shot 17 times.
