Some are NecroTech Buildings and can be identified by the "[NT]" appended to their name if you have the NecroTech Employment skill. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

The once proud Masbridge Building stands empty, it's facade cracked and broken. Graffiti and old blood stains cover the lower floors.

Opened in 1938, the Mansbridge Building served as a home for a revolving list small and medium sized businesses over the decades. It was purchased by a Brown Real Estate in 2003 and was in the process of being refurbished when it's clients became the walking dead.
