Abbreviation: MotD
Group Numbers: unknown
Leadership: None
Goals: Uniting the Zombie Hordes
Recruitment Policy: Horde Leaders only
Contact: We will contact you.

The Ministry of the Dead came to the public eye with its successful attack on Giddings Mall. This attack, known as Dia de los Muertos, combined the efforts of several well-known zombie hordes at the site where the Many met their first, and possibly final, defeat.

Its leadership, ironically, seems to parallel the structure taken by the human group, The Council of Leaders, by taking spokesmen from each horde to coordinate zombie efforts to conquer all of Malton. Thus far, this version of the council seems to have met far less internal resistance from other zombies. So long as victories continue to flow for the Ministry of the Dead, that support may follow, unchecked.

Historical Significance Section

The organization's origins began at Hildebrand Mall in Roftwood, during a combined assault in late October of 2005. Several zombie hordes joined forces to destroy the safehouse established there, as well as hunt down survivors from the recent Fort Creedy massacre. In the light of this success, a new objective emerged: to take down the symbol of human resistance in the face of overwhelming zombie numbers, Giddings Mall. After the successful siege, the Ministry split up for a short time, only to reform recently with the latest siege on Caiger Mall
