The Steel Motel is a motel with the coordinates [4,23], situated in the suburb of Peddlesden Village.

No one claims to know who's idea it was to use brushed stainless steel as siding for a motel, but it was a BAD one. As was the decision to furnish the rooms in cast iron. And this is the result. With such industrial decor and the title: "Steel Motel" the place was an instant flop with the entire known world, with the single exception of a small regional fetish community. It closed down long before the undead uprising. It is perhaps the only place in Malton for which the locals might argue that a zombie presence has actually improved the property. Since the zombie uprising it has become a holy site for Thulsa Doom's Temple of Set whose members believe that revelations of The Riddle of Steel can be readily obtained through encampment on the premises and consumption of any infidels sleeping therein.

August 10th - August 22nd, 2007 Thulsa Doom's Temple of Set arrives in force seeking the enlightenment of The Riddle of Steel. They make camp, cook up sacramental soup from the local populace, conduct celebratory orgies, and receive the blessings of Set. The pilgrimage is rewarded with two new Priests of Set to follow the glorious leadership of Thulsa Doom as they return to The Mountain of Power.
