Before the Zombie Outbreak, the Triad was amongst the most powerful underground societies and always had the goal of obtaining as much profit and power as possible, therefore they owned a large percentage of the Vice and Illegal Operations within the city, this included;

After the Zombie Outbreak most of the operations died, members disappeared, buildings were taken over and the Triad were presumed dead.
However the few surviving members and a couple Bosses reunited and agreed to get the Triad back up on its feet.
The Triad is now working towards building up there power, respect and influence in the city. A few buildings have been reclaimed, their traditional services are available on request and the books have been opened on recruiting new members. The Triad is alive and growing.
