Banned me because I admitted that I was a "sockpuppet" which is another name for an alt account. Not a problem unless my main account is also voting on the same subject. Also because "no reasonable person would vote keep for broke redirects" to which I respond I had intended to use these pages in the future and it was completely reasonable. Nubis obviously banned me because he could not comprehend anyone anyone voting not in his favor and instead of going through the rules he decided to ban me. Vaderman! 05:23, 26 August 2006 (BST)

Aren't you now guilty of getting around a ban? That makes you deserve another ban. --Sonny Corleone WTF RRF ASS DORIS Hunt! 05:24, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Vaderman! blocked. –Xoid STFU! 05:27, 26 August 2006 (BST)
If you want to discuss this, do not make alts, just contact me through AIM, MSN or YIM and I'll relay what you said. –Xoid STFU! 05:27, 26 August 2006 (BST)
You're right. Admitting that you're a sockpuppet doesn't actually make you one, any more than telling a police officer you're a criminal makes you guilty. It does, however, make you stupid. Keep up the good work. –Bob Hammero ModTACB! 05:32, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Sockpuppets are allowed, as long as they don't vote on the same subjects as their main accouts.--The General U! P! F! Mod 07:21, 26 August 2006 (BST)
If I were you, I'd go look at vandal banning. I put him up for banning for more reason than just "he's a retarded sockpuppet." It had to do with bad faith. Hint hint: his circumventing a ban kinda proves my point. –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 07:24, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Wait! Wait! Sockpuppets are allowed ? Since when ? If there is something wrong in democracy is when those who can change other people minds about something being a mere sockpuppet from a big company or and evil shadow lord. --hagnat mod 07:53, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Alt accounts are allowed, as long as they aren't used to circumvent a ban.--The General T Sys U! P! F! 07:58, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Unless the sock puppet states who their main account is how do we know if the user has voted twice or not? Quite simply we don't, and thus we shouldn't allow sock puppet accounts because of this simple reason. Anyway is there any reasonable reason for someone to have a sock puppet account on this wiki? - Jedaz 08:01, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Yes, there is. I've explained this at length before. It's on one of BobHammero's sandbox pages. Somewhere. –Xoid STFU! 08:03, 26 August 2006 (BST)
Look at wikipedia.--The General T Sys U! P! F! 08:04, 26 August 2006 (BST)

You are all missing the point. What did the sockpuppet accomplish? Anything constructive? Okay, now anything potentially harmful? Great. Now that we're all in agreement, why the hell are we still debating this? It's not like the sockpuppet is a fucking Rhodes scholar or something. His only "contribution" was to try to obstruct the speedy deletion process. Since we're not banning Mother Teresa here, let's all just drop this. Case dismissed, Nubis is in the clear. –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 09:11, 26 August 2006 (BST)
