UDWiki:Administration/Arbiration/WanYao vs Sgt Raiden

Scheduled, arbitration case. Linkthewindow  Talk  08:45, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Done -- boxy talkteh rulz 10:40 29 January 2009 (BST)

Disambiguation page recently opened up to allow editing. Petty users and alt accounts from certain groups are vandalising the page to suit their own interests. Refer to this arbie case. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 15:55, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Done. I've also protected U.B.C.S as a precautionary measure. -- Cheese 18:46, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

User:A Helpful Little Gnome/Sig

Change to:   AHLGTH

Something different. --  AHLGTG 05:42, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Differentiated -- boxy talkteh rulz 06:06 28 January 2009 (BST)

I edited it to provide a link to an explaination of how to add a custom image to the template. It will only display on pages that haven't got the custom image specified already -- boxy talkteh rulz 10:28 25 January 2009 (BST)

UDWiki:Administration/Vandal Data

"I hump men" is missing "User:" and should be a level three header. "User:I like Chinese Food" and "User:Jackson" are both missing an equals-sign. --Midianian|T|DS|C:RCS| 07:33, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

you hump men? lol.--xoxo 04:02, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
sorry.--xoxo 04:02, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I did this earlier -- boxy talkteh rulz 07:51 20 January 2009 (BST)

User talk:Nemesis Omega

Here and the case below it. -- Cheese 17:31, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Meh, that's long ago. He was pretty pissed at me for that, oh memories. Fix it, if you wish.--Thadeous Oakley 17:36, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Seems to have been fixed by Cheese -- boxy talkteh rulz 07:51 20 January 2009 (BST)

New archives

Methinks we need a sysop subpage scheduled protection thing.

No one would throw a fit over you protecting your own archives or user subpages. Just avoid the main talk page. Also, done. --Karekmaps?! 01:56, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Requesting the unprotection of User:Amazing. I have contacted the user, and he gave me permission to edit his user page (i need the page unprotected so i dont need to file a edit request in here every time i attempt to make an edit). Several users know about amazing, but most of them dont know why he is this wiki version of godwin's law. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 16:02, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

You contacted him? Please say it wasn't on that shithole of a site they call the SWWiki. --Cyberbob 16:52, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
I often email him when i notice something that might interest him over here in the wiki. Last time i mailed him was for him to admire grim's demotion. I do get along with the "beardo" now. Wikigate and the Witch Burners are thing of the past. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 17:10, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't think it's particularly wise to unprotect a permbanned vandals page for update reasons... it's not like he's active -- boxy talkteh rulz 07:56 16 January 2009 (BST)

A permabanned user page still falls in the rules where one can't edit the user page of another without his permission. Amazing granted me permission to edit his user page, and i'm just requesting its unprotection to avoid having to request edits since its protected. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 10:24, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

New Protection Archive

Requesting the protection of all pages in the new montly protection archive. Links can be found in the nav box above. I would do it myself, but last time i did so (with the arbie archive reform) someone created a misconbitration case against me, and i fear the pupil would follow the example of the master. (see, unneeded attack... it isnt that fun, right ?) --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 02:19, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Would it be safe to speedydelete the older archive pages? Linkthewindow  Talk  02:32, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Nope, because the other pages still have plenty of pages linking to them. And i am too sleepy right now to do the trick, thus a simple deletion request should give plenty of time for me (or anyone else) to finish the job. And a speedy is out of the question, because i was talking to karek and he might try to defend the year-long archives. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 02:38, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Administration archives are scheduled. Also, the fact that you ignored the only user input you bothered to try to get before implementing this system shows you don't really get why you had an issue with the arbitration archives.--Karekmaps?! 04:47, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

UDWiki:Administration/Promotions/Iscariot - Fixed. --Cyberbob 06:51, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Does it shock anyone that during routine maintenance I've accidentally managed to find a breach of a two year old policy? -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 07:08, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
You created that page, and there aren't any others in the UDWiki:Moderation space. Fuck off. --Cyberbob 07:23, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Actually, there are plenty of pages still in the Moderation namespace... we are just lazy to bother moving them. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 10:33, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Well there were a couple of others elsewhere... but making out that it's some great breach of policy is pretty bloody funny >:) -- boxy talkteh rulz 07:56 16 January 2009 (BST)

Requesting protection for fear of vandals.--– Nubis NWO 16:51, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

done. I have changed the link on the #7 point to reflect the desired protection request. You must have been working on this for a few time already --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 00:04, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

I just edited out the location type category from Template:Locationblock and Template:Locationblockmerge, as it didn't work properly. They are now done via the relevant info type templates -- boxy talkteh rulz 06:20 8 January 2009 (BST)

Map Templates

Sorry, I was in a rush to get these locked off my big list of shit to do that I forgot to add the group category. Can I get [[Category:Mall Tour 2009]] added to Template:MTCurrent and Template:MTPrevious? -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! Misconduct Archives

I've reformatted most (just missing 2 sysops which I will get to later) archive to match the setup of NAME/YEAR and then YEAR/CASE. If you click on the name on the main archive page it takes you to a year by year case by case breakdown getting rid of the outdated misconduct tracker template. The page was already set up that way but not every case was moved over or formatted.--– Nubis NWO 22:31, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Please review this edit at your convenience -- boxy talkteh rulz 13:03 3 January 2009 (BST)

reviewed. Can't see how this has changed the policy but hey, if people want to question your edits.....--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:48, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

New move request template. -- Cheese 19:24, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Done.--– Nubis NWO 00:04, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
I've unprotected it again. I've figured out what's going wrong. Its similar in nature to why we can't protect the VB pages but its working in reverse. -- Cheese 10:14, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Actually, no its not. I'm talking bollocks. Its because the header is in the template rather than on the page. -- Cheese 10:18, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

UDWiki:Administration/Move Requests/Archive/Dec 2008

I put it on the wrong que by mistake, sorry. It's protected now anyway. Linkthewindow  Talk  01:25, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Ok, Karek protected the page. --ZsL 05:52, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

MisterGame has agreed (on my talk page) not to revert it to the redirect, but instead help to expand the disambig. Could we get it unprotected please? -- boxy talkteh rulz 15:19 31 December 2008 (BST)

Could said sysop also throw up the {{NPOV}} template? Linkthewindow  Talk  15:31, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

User:Dаranz proof and User:Samuel Autum proof

Permabaned vandals. The latter doesn't have a user page, but I've seen sysops throwing up the perma-ed template and then protecting. If they usually don't do that, then ignore the latter request. Linkthewindow  Talk  10:31, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

For the record, the former already has the Protected template for some reason, although I can still edit it. Linkthewindow  Talk  10:32, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
