I'm not going to be around for a long while. My work and private life is costing me enough problems that I don't fucking need to look for it here. I used to come here to unwind but lately that just ain't working for me anymore. I've had it up to here with the cliquish shit this wiki had become. As I won't be around I won't be a good bureaucrat or sysop so get rid of those for me will you, boxy? I doubt that I'll miss them if I return. And If I do It'll give me an excuse to actually try and have fun here, instead of being a janitor and professional nag.-- Vista  +1  16:31, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Id like to try and dissuade you, if i can. Vista, you are a great sysop (Way better than myself, and im not afraid to admit it). There is no need to quit just because you are sick of some drama. If its really getting to you, just take a month or two off and bask elsewhere while this all blows over and you regain your sanity. I hear real life is a good place to go, and if you are into reading, i have a number of book suggestions for you. I'm sorry you feel this way, but can understand it. However I'd like to also say that your insights (not nags) are very welcome from my perspective (especially when you think it's me that has stepped out of line) with the spirit or even letter of the rules, even if I end up disagreeing. Can I suggest you keep your sysops status for now (it may be removed due to future policy change if you truly do become inactive anyway). I am hopeful that you will return as you have before. Djeez do I feel like a jerk for leaving this way. Although my temper got the better of me and I seriously regret it, it's really for the best. I'm chronically overworked and the stress is clearly showing. I simply can't contribute to the wiki in any meaningful way for a couple of months yet. I'm fine with me keeping my sysop status just in case although I wouldn't have minded having to re-earn it if/when I return. I feel that it is a little bit of a shame that you are leaving, but I totally understand. I'm working 6 or 7 days a week and I can only really do the wiki for 20min a day max.
