Conn: while we wait for Amazing's evidence, I challenge you to a game of wiki-tac-toe. -- Rueful 00:27, 9 May 2006 (BST)

tic-tac-toe is kinda 1-sided, the person who goes first always wins...how about wiki-pong? -- Rueful 22:52, 10 May 2006 (BST)

Some other rant
Sorry the fact that my one umbrella case was split up against my will amid rampant flaming from the people I reported - and I must now spend all my time on the Wiki (which isn't much to begin with) putting out fires caused by these people - bores you. Poor babies. -- Amazing 04:41, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- Comments such as these, are not endearing Amazing. Not that I am the type to allow an insult to affect my judgement, calling your arbitraitor a baby isnt high on the intelectual achievment list. Conndrakamod T W! 07:08, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- Oh please! "Poor babies" is equivilant to "Poor dears" or what have you. But then again, skewing what I say to fit perception is common practice. Maybe even automatic nowadays. -- Amazing 07:15, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- Perhaps you should take it as a lesson that what is heard by another party is not always taken as you intend it to mean. If one person consitantly mistakes what you are trying to say, then it is most likely that person. If Large numbers of people have a problem with what is said then perhaps it is in the method or means of expression. Conndrakamod T W! 09:51, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- I contend that, as a user of this wiki, my every statement should not be drug out into the street, beaten with a stick, set on fire, and inspected with a fine-toothed comb until something is found that can be turned into a gravely offensive statement. That said, this ruling is everything I wanted out of my original umbrella case, so much appreciated. -- Amazing 06:26, 11 May 2006 (BST)
- Amazing, I simply replied as I took the statement. And by the use of the term "Poor Babies" in the context seen above, did initially offend me. Upon your explination I was less so, hence my recomendation. Anyway, I feel I did my job properly as an arbiter. If it was what you wanted...great thats spiffy. But FYI, I will surely be advised of any transgressions of the ruling and will enforce it if (hopefully not) necessary. Conndrakamod T W! 06:32, 11 May 2006 (BST)
- I am sincerely hoping my Wiki usage can go back to normal now. Nothing said to me could make me knowingly violate the ruling, (I do have a dread that someone will change their sig name though. Gotta keep an eye on that.) instead I'd simply wait for a Mod to see if someone else was violating it, or I'd message a Mod about it. -- Amazing 06:39, 11 May 2006 (BST)

- Interpreting "poor babies" or even "poor dears" as anything except you implying that we're "childish" would be skewing your words. -- Rueful 14:17, 10 May 2006 (BST)
