Overview

This page will serve as the archive hub for the UBCS. All archives will be placed here (along with a reason why said page was archived), to keep everything organized.

Divisions

The Division idea was ambitious, but alas, to ambitious. After a landslide vote, Division One was split into Fox and Winter, while Division Two and Three was merged into Fox.

Winter Company Past Operations Archive

Winter page got a little long so here are some of the older operations

Merger

Alpha and Bravo team soon merged. With this merger, Winter was created.

Dulston Campaign

Dulston was completely overrun by zombies. The Dead, formally a NW group has come to the NE to try to take out the suburb. They succeeded. FOXHOUND, DITPS, and the Imperium needed help.

They got it.

The USSR cam on the UBCS forums giving us updates on the situation. GM Haliman devised a three-part plan.

"First, the CO's will divide and conquer Rolt Heights. Work together to get the burb up in half the time!"

Commanders Megameh and Dr Moulder worked together to capture Rolt Heights. They complained, though, about how useless the suburb was because of it's lack of TRP's. The burb was up in a week.

"Second, the CO's must decide which team takes which suburb! One will take Pecodside, the other taking Rhodenbank!"

Operations Rhodent Killer and Getting out of that Damn Hill commenced. Bravo took Rhodenbank, with the burb coming back to green days later. The UBCS didn't have time to waste, so Bravo entered Dulston without Alpha. Alpha eventually made it, but the suburb was a mess. Eventually, Bravo left, and Alpha reclaimed the suburb.

Operation Wabbit Season

Operation Wabbit Season saw the UBCS in their prime. Over 60 members, number 8 best group in the game, best commanders the NE has seen in a long time, and activity unrivaled by any other UBCS phase. Commander Amanda Hugenkiss was the mastermind behind the operation. The first thing to do was try to get a roster from the local zerg group, The Dead Bunnies. That was a success. We swapped lists with The Beavers to try to make one massive list.

The start of the actual operation was in Bale Mall. Since Dowdney was inoperable, Bale was our best resource point. After restocking, we rejoined our comrades in Hall.

This operation saw the biggest RTS in UBCS history. Although we were not able to reclaim the mall, we killed ~40 zeds inside. Only 3 survived. We viewed this as not only a success, but a breakthrough! After the bunnies started getting quiet, and we reclaimed all of the TRP's, we left for more important things.

Operation Blitzkreig

So started The Battle of the Dagger. Although the execution of Coven was the start of the war, the first actual kill in the war was President Brandon Jackson, by GM Haliman. It's a shame, however, that Umbrella resorted to underhand tactics (spying, slandering) and cheating (zerging, multi-abuse). In the end, the Umbrella Coporation had to resort to calling in allies to help the war effort. Although Commander Ephraim Reigner was in command at this time, Director of War William Lanfried took charge for the group's planning.

Mini-operations in this war include Operation: Swift Justice, Operation: Search and Destroy, and operation: Search and Destroy Duex

With both sides reporting 56 confirmed kills, the war was a stalemate.

The Northeastern Crusade

Late November, Imperium leader Garviel Loken approached the UBCS with a plan. The idea was to reclaim the Northeast from all the zombie forces occupying it. Commander Enzyte Bob lead Bravo Team during this time. The idea was to restock in Shearbank, then proceed into Huntley Heights. Every Crusade member thought the attack on HH would be quick, and we would move on.

We were wrong.

The fighting there lasted weeks. We held Plowright whenever we were there. In fact, the UBCS stayed to defend the building while FH and the Imperium reactivated the freerunning lane to Vicari. Our time in HH was being wasted, though. Our scouts reported The Hall building in Santlerville was under heavy siege. The Beavers pulled through. With every other building ruined, they stayed and held the building long enough for us to get there and bolster their ranks. That day, they proved that they are really as good as history has shown.

We promised to meet up with the rest of the Crusade when they got here, but Umbrella Corp had other plans. They used the crusade as an excuse to come and slander us. We finally caught one of them in the act, and GM Haliman ordered the execution, carried out by Dwight Easleborough.

Operation Giblets

Operation Giblets was lead by Commander Enzyte Bob. Bob was the first person to ever lead a team twice, non-consecutively. During his first reign, he lead Bravo into Gibsonton to try to help our allies (FOXHOUND, DITPS, Imperium) in the east. We had an inter-group realtime strike planned on zombie occupied Oram Walk Police Department. In all, ~10 people struck the building. The majority of them came from the UBCS

Operation Ketchup

Also known as the first UBCS mission ever took place in Ketchelbank. Lead by Bravo founder Srg Carlos Oliviera. The zombie presence was pushed back by The Malton Zoo Keepers, and ourselves. The Zoo Keepers proved themselves as a great ally, giving out speedy revives, and healing our battle wounds. It won't be the last time we work with such a great group.

  • Nov. 25-2008 - The UBCS devised a plan to retake Oram PD. With the assistance of our allies, the Imperium, FOXHOUND, DITPS, and the UBCS retook Oram Walk PD. As of right now, The UBCS still has the strongest presence in the building. A side note, Alpha Team edged out Bravo for the first time by having more people attend the assault.
  • Dec. 29-2008 - Lithedarkangel has been promoted to Director of Internal Affairs! Congrats!
  • Jan. 3-2009 - William Lanfried has been promoted to Director of Warfare. Keep up the good work guys!
  • Jan. 31-2009 - The war with Umbrella is over!
  • Feb. 28-2009 - Operation: Mars begins in Ridleybank.
  • Mar 22-2009 - UBCS holds general elections, good luck to the candidates!
  • Apr 23-2009 - With the mall under heavy defense by The Dead Bunnies, the UBCS had to think through an assault. With 40 zombies inside of the mall, it seems hopeless, right? Wrong. A duel real-time strike executed by The UBCS and MPD brought the number of zombies from 40, to 5! although we did not retake the mall, this is a huge success! 35 zombies died today to stop us. With 3 or 4 more guys, the mall would have been ours.
  • Jun 23-2009 - We're currently operating in Quarlesbank!
  • Jul 24-2009 - Quarlesbank was a success, that is until Extinction swept back in and started retaking things again. In response, UBCS D1-C1 swept through Jensentown, quickly retaking any ruined buildings and began to repair Extinction's home suburb of Dakerstown. The area had already begun to turn in survivors favor with Extinction roaming elsewhere, but with UBCS' help the suburb turned yellow as ruined buildings were repaired and buildings broken into were defended or quickly retaken.
  • Sept 27-2009 - Haliman retires from the UBCS after one year of us being around. His replacement The Colonel has been hard at work preparing new events for the group.
  • Oct 16-2009 - UBCS is seen leaving Ridleybank after cading non-rescource buildings just to play around with the Ridley's a little. Shouts of "we shall bring more brainz next time" can be heard as they evacuate at full speed.
  • Oct 30-2009 - Haliman fully retires and hands over adminship to his replacement The Colonel. Currently UBCS Fox Company is on a zerg hunt, taking down the most dangerous game.
  • Dec 7-2009 - The Training Facility Returns!! In charge of Roderik and Haliman.
  • Dec 29-2009 - Update: Haliman is back, then gone again (repeat). Colonel Krauser quits the UBCS after going mad with power. The UBCS stays learderless until Dec, 27 when Lithedarkangel assumes the position.
  • Jan 1-2010- Megameh Has been Elected Secretary Grand Marshall, and with this, the leadership chaos has finally quelled.
  • July 17-2010- Changes everywhere. We moved forums some time ago, we made new friends, new enemies, then back to friends. The UBCS decided to not stay in the same role anymore. We are free now. Currently, the UBCS is a zed group noming innocent survivors for the greater good.

Current Events '09

December 09'

Winter Company - Winter has had one operation this month.

Operation: Zed Shearing saw the UBCS after Molebank. Lord K decided to bring some life into Shearbank. The suburb once ruined and lifeless was again living. But, the zombies couldn't hide their envy and decided to pay a visit. Winter retried and then slipped behind the horde and again managed to rebuild part of the suburb, but the time called for another mission. Winter retreats from the Shearbank and returns to Molebank.

---

Fox Company has been up to some schemes as well.

This month, Fox left Kempsterbank behind for some rest and relaxation with Operation: Winter Break. They headed down to North and South Blythville for some R&R; recruitment and restocking. Instead, they found zombies waiting for them! No rest for the wicked. Fox has doubled in size recently. A big welcome to Chris, Vlad and Leon! In other news, Mega is looking for a second in command to help him lead. Some would use merit or nepotism or bias to pick this position. Mega is having the squad fight to the death until one man remains, this will be the leader.

---

Special Events - There have been four events this month.

Lithedarkangel is our new Grand Marshal. Li has been a member of the UBCS for over a year, and is quite qualified for the position.

Megameh is the new Secretary Grand Marshal. The SGM is a direct advisor to the Grand Marshal, and first in the line of succession, should the Grand Marshal be unable to lead for any amount of time.

Roderik and Ephraim were both recently promoted to High Command. High Command members serve as the leadership of the group, admins on the forum, and the most experienced men the UBCS has to offer.

A recent Zerg Scandal regarding 13 accounts controlled by the same person has been discovered. One of said accounts carries the UBCS' group tags in game. First of all, Kyle Peter Burke has made one post on our forums ever, and hasn't been online since August 09. He was swiftly banned by our admins.

November 09'

Winter Company - Winter has had three operations this month.

Operation: Haven of Havercroft saw the patrol and defense of Southern Richmond Hills and Havercroft, along with the reclamation of Ackland Mall. There was a zerg in the area causing a bit of trouble for us, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Yapp Square RTS: Summarized in the words of our very own Amanda Hugenkiss, "We cleared a bunch of zed zergs; 8 or more I think then repaired for 12 AP and caded but they kept tearing down the cades. Someone died (Wesker I believe) and then we scampered away due to low ap. Just as I evacuated, I caught the lamentations of their woman:

http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6548/yapppdstrike.jpg"

Operation: kNights in St. Jude's is currently underway in Molebank. Once again, the zerg of Molebank causes trouble; this time attacking the holiest part of the Suburb. St. Jude's Cathedral. After allies requested help, Winter made its way to the area...

---

Fox Company - Fox has had one two-part operation this month.

Operation: Mastication started out as a zerg hunting operation in Santlerville. With minimul success, and few zerg sitings, the operation was moved to Kempsterbank, and turned into a reclamation mission. Part two is still currently under way.

---

Special Events - There are two happening this month.

The Return of the Darkangel: Lithedarkangel has finally returned from his extended leave of absence. The UBCS rallies to welcome him back, and he was well missed. The UBCS has since gotten a second wind, and is finally stabilizing as one of the top ten groups in the game.

Leadership Elections: Grand Marshal, currently held by The Colonel, and Secretary Grand Marshal, currently vacant, are up for grabs this month. Debates will start December first, and the election will start the seventh. GM will see current incumbent Krauser pit against Lithedarkangel, while there doesn't seem to be any serious opposition for SGM, seeing as Ephraim Reigner is running unopposed.
