The Recycling Bin

You have to put all those old but classic editions of the Stale Urinal somewhere and a bin on the back loading docks is as go as any place. Bored? Go on a read on through.

11/15/07 - Any UBA members in the Gulsonside and Wray Heights area. We have done a good job of keeping the peace, but there is a little pack (9) of the undead wandering the border. They hit St. Johns church and St. Margarets, and are currently eating their way through the barricades at the junkyard next to the Bagot Arms. I have picked off a few the past couple of days and worked to repair their damage, but I don't have the AP to handle them all appropriately. I think the few loners that have been around are joining forces. I bet if we all smashed them hard a couple of times, they would break up and move on. - Llew 8:31

11/8/07 - Apparently the Lawson Arms has become a major zombie target, as there are never fewer than 5 slackjaws outside our door. The bar has once again fallen while I was on a supply run. We had been running a very successful revive operation, but most of Ruddlebank is in ruins right now and there are very few places to safely spend the night. I'm on a mission to get a toolbox and as much ammo as possible, and re-build the Lawson arms and it's loyal army of patrons. Anyone feeling ballsy that wants to help is welcome, though coming in to ruddlebank without a lot of supplies and AP is ill advised. VIV A LA ARMS! - prayformojo

11/2/07 - Hey all. Just an update from the Ferguson. Tollyton seems to be getting a brief rest from the constant attacks we've had for the last few months. The zeds seemed to half drifted southwest. The mall is back in survivor hands (although the human presence at the mall is still relatively low). More importantly, the Ferguson seems to be safe and once I find a fuel can we'll be broadcasting again for the first time since early July! - Boris The Red

10/31/07- Happy Halloween all (or post Halloween depending on your location). The Brien and Bagot are solid again. Thanks for the electricity and radio Dudi and Ethethr. I have a full house tonight in the Bagot, and I stopped over to the Perrior. Mhray, I don't know if ye be alive or dead, but yer bar is loaded with axe weilding newbies. I left the barricades at VS as not one of them had free running, but that does risk their safety a bit. I'll stop in when I can. - Thor 21:34

10/30/07 - I haven't posted in a bit, but I thought I'd give a quick update. The Bagot and the Brien are back in business and have been for a couple of days at least. The area around both bars seems to be calming a bit, hopefully I didn't just jinx us. STARS seem to be maning their headquarters now near the Bagot, and our combined efforts have settled the south part of Wray Heights. - Llew

10/27/07 - I had some good luck at a NT and now have 11 syringes ready to go. Once I have some AP I'll be doing 3-4 revives a day so let me know where you're at if you need de-zombification. - Ironstar

10/27/2007 - Ruddlebank is completely overrun. We held out as long as we could, but the sheer volume of zeds was something we couldn't hold off. When I left to find supplies the bar was still standing, but there were slackjaws inside. All fo our normal patrons are either dead or gone, and the revive points are full of those hoping to be saved. It's a sad day here today, but we don't give up hope. VIVA LA ARMS! - prayformojo. Lawson Arms Barback

10/25/07 - OK, everyone. Zombillings here, been doing some recon. Scarletwood and Gulsonside are completely toast, as is the eastern half of East Grayside. The western half of East Grayside appears to be fully secure and running well, and the suburb map shows that West Grayside is a safe suburb. I'm afraid Ironstar's order for a strategic retreat has to be put in place again/still. I recommend everyone move to the southwest ASAP to regroup, take advantage of active resource buildings, and begin pushing back the zed mobs, which are moving in a westerly direction. I know of revive points at Baynton St. and Prigg Alley in EG. I hope to see you all again soon. They can take our lives (repeatedly), but they can never take OUR LIQUOR!! - Capt. Billings

10/23/07 - The Lawson Arms has attracted some very consistant attention from a small local zombie mob. Break ins are frequent, so we are upgrading to max barricades. The entry point for anyone wanting to visit the pub (or help hold back this smelly, slackjawed whorde) is located at Club Bousfield, 1 block South East of the pub. Also, anyone in Ruddlebank and the surrounding areas, keep an eye open for our fearless bar owner Ozfard. he was killed in the early days of the battle, and his corpse has since dissappeared. He is a very high priority revive. VIVA LA ARMS! -prayformojo, Lawson Arms Barback

10/22/07 - Just FYI for anyone looking for a safe place to stay...the Ferguson isn't it. Tollyton has been a mess for several months. For the most part, the bar has stood; however, I went on an ammo run and returned to find the bar in ruins. Don't know if my regulars abandoned it or were just killed. I was killed while attempting to retake it, and unfortunately revives seem to be taking forever, even though there are only two other dead folks at the revive point I'm at in Crowbank. - Boris The Red

10/22/07 - Scratch the previous report. The Cresley's got gray visitors inside; currently rebarricaded with one zed and one weak survivor inside. I escaped to a nearby motel. It's getting pretty rough in EG. - Billings

10/20/07 - East Grayside is taking a pounding once again, though so far the Cresley is holding tight. Zeds in every nearby resource building, with 16 in one of police stations. If anyone's got an itchy trigger finger, come on down and try out the NE corner of EG. - Capt. Billings

10/19/07 - It appears that Sam Awesome has stopped playing Urban Dead. He didn't gave any sign of life for over a month, so I'm taking lead on elsbury till he come back to us - dudi4155

10/17/07 - The Lawson Arms is under attack from a small bu tpersistant group of Zeds. THere are three in the bar, and a smill pile of corpses out front. We don't have enough friendlies around to fend them off for lonf, so anyone near Ruddlebank that can spare the bullets and AP, your help would be greatly appreciated. Currently bar owner Ozfard is dead on the floor of the bar, and a group or regulars have retreated to a near by hospital to rebuild AP and stage a push back and rescue mission. The body of a well know GK/RK zombie sympathist Steadly Barfast was found, as well as the zombie "rottta", who I have been trading blows with for quite some time now. Please help us show these bastards that you CAN'T EFF WITH THE UBA! - prayformojo, Lawson Arms Barback.

10/15/07 - Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for taking care of my bar while I was away. I see I missed a bit of action (thanks Llew for the revive). I'm back in the Brien again, but I noticed that the Perrior is having a bit o' trouble now. I'm afraid I didn't do much to your new undead patron, but Llew and I worked on your barricades some. I don't know how long they will hold, as there were five more undead outside waiting for service. You'd think that these guys would evetually get the message that we do not serve alcohol to minors or minions. - Thor 19:24

10/15/07 - Brien has a generator and transmitter again, just need to get fueled. Fixed church, but Creek still has 8 zeds in it. Draper Arms has three revive syringes if anyone needs them, come down and I'll get you all fixed up. Just let me know you're coming. - Mhray

10/12/07 - Darn it. A zombie's just cracked into the Brien, taken out the generator and me with it. Anybody got a spare syringe if you've got a spare AP? This is my profile #. Thanks and good luck!--Manapua 17:58, 12 October 2007 (BST)

10/9/07 - Draper is doing well, with 4 African paintings adorning the walls. Stocked up on FAK, which I will be healing all those in the Perrior/Brien complex - Mhray

10/9/07 - The Cresley is officially rebuilding and pumping pints once again. It's eerily desolate in my corner of E. Grayside, though. Hopefully this means the Minions are wandering off, content with their accomplishments. - Capt. Billings

10/8/07 - Helping dudi4155 keep Perrior and Brien up. Jo March has decided to branch out and has established a Scarletwood post at the Draper Arms. Close to two hospitals and a NT, it's a fine place to visit. First rounds are on the house! - Mhray

10/7/07 - Perrior and Brien are clear, but there is many zombies in area. Any help would be appreciated. - dudi4155

10/5/07 - I just repaired and barricaded the Perrior, but who knows how long that will last...--Manapua 11:58, 5 October 2007 (BST)

10/4/07 - Well we be screwed. At least till the Minions get bored of their ruination plan. With the Blesley Mall down, our backup (weak mallrats though they were) is gone. So All Gulsonside UBA, here's the plan. Move out of the suburb, get alive, and return to base yourself out of safe areas in Wray Heights or East Grayside. Concentrate on revives. Repairing buildings will only get them targeted for ruination by the Minions. Lets bring back our bar regulars and other humans and get some backup. If we time it right the horde will get bored and begin to wander off while we rebuild our numbers. Then we can reclaim and rebuild. If someone could take a tour and see what nearby NT's are up and post them, that would help our many fallen members. Good luck and be revived quickly everyone - Ironstar

10/4/07 - And with that, the Cresley falls, with all hands lost to the grey-skinned mob, I think for the first time since I've been the publican. East Grayside is in ruins, and I'm hanging around outside a motel waiting for a revive. Godspeed for now and brainz to all. - Capt. Billings

10/4/07 - Well I got Thor back on his feet, but he's going to need a whole lot of medical attention before he's back to fighting weight. The thing I'm really lacking is ammo to clear out the brain dead. They're holding up the revives I can do around the Brien and Perrior. These lovely break-in's are the handiwork of the Minions of the Apocalypse. Apparently they have set their sights on Gulsonside ... again. I'll continue operating out of the Bagot. - Llew 7:18

10/3/07 - Yup, the Perrior and Brien are messed up. I'm off to secure a tool kit. The Perrior is currently empty with 4 standing outside and the Brien has just 2 inside right now. FYI, the Belbin has a few zeds outside and was about to get cracked. I re-uped the cades to VSB and will swing by there again in the morning.--Manapua 01:10, 4 October 2007 (BST)

10/3/07 - The Cresley's had a break-in, and my axe apparently has holes in it, since I missed him so much. I've retreated to the Wykes Motel, near-death. One zed left, if anyone can lend a hand. - Capt. Billings

10/3/07 - The Lawson Arms got hit pretty hard last night falling under mild Zombie controll. A swarm of Zeds aparently waited until night and then attacked the bar full force, dragging out several patrons and killing them, and destroying our generator and radio. A few of us were off gathering supplies and found the mess this morning. We've started the killin/cleaning/re-viv process, but it's still a little messy. Last I checked there were 4 slackjaws in the bar, and the massive pile of bodies outside out door just reaks of re-attack. -- prayformojo, Zombie Hatin' Barback of the Lawson Arms, 12:15 PST, 10.03.07

10/3/07 - I'm just a few blocks away in Tollyton. I'll head over to the Brien and Perrior ASAP and help however I can. Do you all need a toolbox?--Manapua 19:29, 3 October 2007 (BST)

10/2/07 - All I have to say is crap! The Brien and Perrior were ransacked again. We were just getting back on our feet, and unfortunately most of the Gulsonside barkeeps were in residence at the time. On the postive side, Llew said he just loaded up with syringes and he's still safe. Hang in there barkeeps, he'll be over tomorrow - just make sure you are standing! - Thor 21:20

10/1/07 - I guess I'll be late to the party. One day out of the Ferguson, overnighting at the mall north of you. I'll stop by tomorrow. If you no longer need assistance, I'll just stay for the drinks.--Manapua 14:48, 1 October 2007 (BST)

9/27/07 - I'm back at the Ferguson and the bar is again in survivor hands. My regulars thought I had left them I guess...in reality, I was just dead. Boris The Red

9/27/07 - JHoova, I can be down in Tollyton in a couple of days, along with one of my bouncers. I'm currently negotiating with a local group re: responsibilities for securing our neck of Gibsonton, but should be free to head out by this evening. I'll be glad to help--Manapua 12:58, 27 September 2007 (BST)

9/26/07- Hey guys, Im looking for Boris the Red. Im a regular at the Ferguson Arms and Im having a tough time keeping it in survivor hands, and serving my own drinks at the same time. I have another in my group (virginialeigh) who has the place currently heavily barricaded, but we need more people to help hold the place and change the kegs. I havent seen Boris in about 3 days. Let him know we need him back to pour our beers, and keep the place caded. So currently the Ferguson Arms is in SURVIVOR hands. Thanks!- JHoova

9/26/07 - So if any of you find yourself with a bar patron named Zebra Dioxide, do yourself a favor and kill the PKer on sight. I'm currently a zombie in my own pub thanks to the bastard. [EDIT: I'm all better. I have fantastic patrons.] - Von Bob

9/25/07 - Thanks to a quick revive locale, I've back to running the Bagot. It is rebarricaded and seems safe enough. I have pockets full of syringes for the Gulsonside barkeeps and regulars and the regulars to the Bagot. Stand up and be injected. - Llew 9:52

9/24/07 - Perrior is re-caded, but I haven't installed anything yet. Brien is down, as is Creek NT and most of the area. I have three syringes left if you need reviving. Just let me know where you are and I'll come revive you. - Mhray

9/23/07 - This is Capt. Billings in the Cresley checking in. We are currently under active seige, and my corner of East Grayside seems to have been abandoned by many survivors. What can anyone else tell me about the main UBA coverage area? I may need to order my patrons to retreat to a safer shelter for a night.

9/19/07 - Ok downed UBA members, which I think is everyone in Gulsonside, I have finally found a working NT. It only took a tour of four suburbs to find one that isn't in ruins. Hopefully I'll load up on syringes and revive everyone in one hit. - Llew 8:18

9/13/07 - Hammer, I'll get you back on your feet tonight if someone doesn't get to you earlier. The area around Perrior and Brien has been sketchy, but I've managed to hold my bar and do a bit of reviving and barricading. Oh and scratch what I said about the Broad Ave PD. It fell hard some time yesterday. - Thor 9:25

9/13/07 - I was making my way to the mall this morning to restock, and I thought I'd spend the day having a pint at the Belbin. Apparently I should have checked here first. A bit of a surprise to have few AP points left and an empty bar. There was a group of 6 eating the Spire cinema. Maybe I'll be able to help when I pass back through. - Llew 9:00

9/12/07 - Well the Belbin fell and I'm down at the revive point next to Creek NT. As far as the mall, the Blesley still stands and is well 'caded. Unfortunately its a bit hard to find a way in nearby so freerun from a distance. Good luck Boris and keep up the good fight. - HH

9/11/07 - Boris, I'm not certain of the status of the mall. I do know that Broad Ave and Brancker Alley PD in Wray Heights are running. I use them regularly. The Creek NT (Gulsonside) and the Silwood NT (Wray Heights) change hands too often to give you an accurate account. - Thor 9:41

9/11/07 - To those of you in Gulsonside...Is your mall open? Tollyton is a mess (the Ferguson is the only building still standing in southern Tollyton) and I'm in desperate need of ammo. From what I can tell, all Police Departments in Tollyton, Wray Heights, and Crowbank are out of commission. Let me know. - Boris The Red 23:09

9/11/07 - The Brien and Bagot are currently offering a special - Free Boooze and Shotguns. The local resource buildings are iffy though as they change hands often. Oh, and anybody in the Perrior might want to handle your little infestation. There were five zombies outside. I built up your barricades with the AP I had left. On another side note, does anybody currently need the services of a barkeep with a toolbox? - Llew 9:47

9/10/07 - Pub repaired, thanks for help. I've just come back form the mall, so I'm out of ap. As soon as I get some, I'll reclaim resource buildings, everywhere is only one zed inside. - dudi4155

9/10/07 - Elsbury update: I've cleared out the last two zeds (for now)... am out of AP. Anybody with a toolkit in the area, please repair the pub.

9/7/07 - If heading up the Elsbury in Crowbank, stop by the Perryn NT next to the mall in Gulsonside. The entire area is lit up and safe. Our areas of gulsonside seem to be the hardest hit. Capt. Billings, I have dispatched Jayne N Vera to assist in the rebuilding. The Belbin is up and still powered up with most nearby zeds asking for revives. I just collected 6 syringes from the Perryn and will be heading back as soon as I have AP. - HH

9/7/07 - I can be at the Elsbury in < 3 days... I just need to convince somebody to look after the place and keep it caded. My bouncer Major Dead is already down there trying to pick off the zeds. What UBA folks need a revive down there and where are they? What's the closest operational NT facility? Is the Blocksidge still operational? - Manapua

9/6/07 - Elsbury has fallen again. - dudi4155

9/3/07 - Capt. Billings..I'll be there by Wednesday. - Boris The Red

9/3/07 - Well, it's been a hard two weeks. I'm finally revived again and back in an operational Cresley Arms, but we're pretty much surrounded and without a generator or radio. East Grayside/Scarletwood has been sacked, and our resource buildings are down. If anyone with a toolbox can come help me get my suburb online, I'd appreciate it. - Capt. Billings

8/29/07 - Promqwen and Jo March back in action. Am once again running Perrior Arms. I'll start helping you out with the Creek revives. - Mhray

8/27/07 - Mhray, I don't know where you are at, but Thor and I can certainly help you out. I found Promqwen today, so she's back in the land of the living. We are running the Brien/Creek revive point as quick as possible. There is never a shortage of zombies and true-zombies. On the plus side, the Bagot and Brien are full of patrons everyday (and night). - Llew 13:46

8/27/07 - Sorry I haven't been more help guys - I'm still trying to get revived so that I can do something useful. - Mhray

8/27/07 - Tollyton finally seems to be getting "safer". Apart from the 50 - 60 zeds attempting to break into our mall, most have moved on or been killed. Thanks to my great customers (and myself of course) the Ferguson never fell during this most recent invasion. If things continue to get better, I should finally be able to come visit some of my fellow UBA barkeeps in their establishments. I look forward to it. - Boris The Red 11:05 (GMT - 6)

8/27/07 - Elsbury is safe again, all neighbouring resource buildings have been cleared from zombies. No large groups around. It seems that situation in Crowbank is getting better. However, we still don't have energy. - dudi415

8/22/07 - Thanks dudi, but I managed to find one this morning. The corner of Wray Heights and East Grayside is in really good shape, so I loaded up on resources. The Bagot is running and the Brien will be shortly. Umm, Mhray the Perrior has three newbies hiding in it with VS barricades and no UBA tagging. The Creek NT seems to be running now, though that may be temporary. - Llew 11:00

8/22/07 - I have a toolbox on my both chars. My main character is currently getting supplies, but I can send you the other one. Just say where are you hiding, and I will come. - dudi4155

8/22/07 - Ok well I'm alive and Thor is dead again, and I think I saw Promqwen's revived body. I revived Thor, but he said he's not going to stand up until I have a toolbox to fix his bar (and all the resource buildings) and a first aid kit (he's diseased and such). Has anyone had any luck finding a toolbox? I've spent over 120 AP at an auto repair, and all I have is a lot of fuel. - Llew 9:13

8/20/07 - Hey all. I'm sorry to hear about the bars falling. I keep meaning to come visit some of them and help retake/protect them. Unfortunately, Tollyton has been a zed magnet for about a month now and guarding the Ferguson has proven to be a full time job. Luckily I've got a decent crew of regular customers helping me out and we have yet to fall despite repeated attacks during the most recent invasion. - Boris The Red

8/17/07 - Just a general update, the Cresley, Brien, and Perrior are down. The Bagot has barricades, but I don't know who is running it as everyone I've seen is dead. I've been alive and dead so many times in the past week that I've left a catheter in my neck to facilitate revives. My biggest problem once I'm alive is that the resource buildings are down too (or fall shortly after I get there). It is hard to drive out the zombies without ammo or syringes. - Thor 8:34

8/15/07 - I shambled on over to Baynton and saw poor Llew had been dragged out into the street. Apparently his safe house for the night wasn't so safe. I expect he'll be along shortly. - Thor 8:56

8/15/07 - Attention all: if all other revive points have been abandoned, come to Baynton St. in East Grayside and we in the Cresley Arms or our neighbors in STARS will fix you up. They did me well enough. - Billings

8/15/07 - Well, I was sleeping in the mall in Dulston and some guy named “Dark Balter” pumps 4 shotgun blasts and 9 pistol rounds into me, what a prick! So now I stand in a park moaning “Mrh”.

That was nice of him, so if any of you are in the area look out for that guy. - Heimer

8/1/407 - Well thanks to a few survivors, I am back alive and swinging. A quick run through the local resource buildings found them all to be destroyed. I am working on clearing out the Creek NT, but it will be slow going. Hopefully once this gets up, then I can start doing some revives. - Llew 22:30

8/14/07 - Well Gulsonside isn't any better. Llew and I spent over a week just trying to hold onto the Brien Arms. Our efforts ended over the weekend as a group of 11 zombies took down our barricades and killed up both. South Gulsonside is filled with zombies and dead survivors. I know most (if not all) of the Gulsonside UBA members are dead, so our revive point is not functioning. The Blesley Mall was a disaster the last time I ran there for supplies, so I doubt it is functioning either. Does any bar have a functioning revive point? - Thor 21:56

8/15/07 - Crowbank is currently more dangerous than even. Area around elsbury arms is totally destroyed. I've been waiting for revive about week, but all revive points seems to be completly abandoned. I'm urrently moving to gulsonside, I hope I will find some help there. - dudi4155

8/10/07 - Well, I went to hold the Perrior, but I'm dead now. I'm in the secondary graveyard next to the main revive point south of the Brien, if anyone would be so kind as to jam a needle in my brainz. - Billings

8/08/07 - The AoV has graciously accepted my offer, and the Lawson Arms is now in co-operation with them.

8/06/07 - Unfotunately, I've been killed just outside my own bar. I'm currently waiting at the AOV Revive point Mico Boulevard (17, 86). My thanks go out to the people who kept me alive. If I hadn't been so fogetful, I would have certainly made it. I apologize for wasting all your efforts.

I didn't realize we had a revive point so close to the Lawson Arms. I think it would be a friendly gesture to start policing that revive point with the AoV and I'll be sending a message to same. -ozfard

8/05/07 - Have you ever wondered where Malton is? Check this out - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?oi=eu_map&q=Malton&hl=eng

7/29/07 - Update from Tollyton. The zed infestation seems to be slowly fading in Tollyton. I'm proud to report that the Ferguson Arms is one of the only buildings in the suburb yet to fall (thanks in large part to the efforts of my regular customers). However, there are still plenty of zeds to be dealt with in the area...so if anyone is looking for some xp, come on over and have a beer, kill some zeds, and spend the night in the ole' Fergie. - Boris the Red

7/28/07 - I put a generator and transmitter back in Perrior. I'll be fueling it up as soon as I have more AP and then I'll be back in business. Bagot will be the next one that I get up and running, as it is currently empty. - Mhray

7/26/07 - I think I owe an apology to my fellow UBA folk. I haven't been very active at all lately, which in my defense, my apartment HAS flooded twice in the past three weeks. But I'm back, and I should stay back, so I'll get the Perrior back up, and start working the revive point (as soon as I can get myself revived). So again, apologies all around and free drinks at the Perrior for all :) - Mhray

7/23/07 - Dear Thor, I believe I may be the "ordered hit" you speak of in your last post. I assure you that I meant no harm to an innocent man. I was simply misinformed. My journal should explain it all. User Talk:Cash Whizdom But I have a few concerns dealing with this Dave Ridge. Any information you have on him would be very helpful! Perhaps even what he said, just for confirmation? And again, sorry for mistake. I'll try and make it up to you! --Cash Whizdom 23:55, 24 July 2007 (BST)

7/23/07 - As this is a seperate subject than my message below, I thought it warranted another post. A little more than a week ago, a fellow by the name of Dave Ridge came into my bar, changed the radio frequency, and then proceeded to ridicule everyone on the radio. The next time I signed on, I prompted told to him to find another place to play and another radio. Apparently he didn't care for that and killed me before he left. Since then, he has order a hit on me and I have strong reason to believe he is using my name on a radio somewhere else and continuing his piss-poor behavior. I would like to make an announcement that if you hear a radio broadcast claiming to be from me - be warey. Of if this guy is in your bar, get your bouncers to toss him out. - Thor 21:15

7/23/07 - Anyone is welcome to join the UBA prayformojo. If you want to operate out of the Lawson Arms, then I suggest talking to Ozfard. He knows what is happening around his bar much better than I do. All we ask is that you write "United Bar Alliance" in as your group in your profile and add your name to the bottom of the barkeeps list above. You can work out of an established bar or go find one of your own to claim. - Thor 21:15

7/23/07 - I am very interested in joining the UBA. I love any group that is willing to drink it's way through a crisis. I am prayformojo and am currently hold up in the Lawson Arms. I may be new, but I want to get stronger and I'm willing to help defend the UBA pubs till the end!

7/23/07 - Revive point for the Crowbank locations (at least the Elsbury, that is :p) is located on Plummer Avenue, due south of the Elsbury Arms and directly east of the the Mydleham necrotech. - Sam Awesome

7/20/07 - Boris, thanks for the thought, but you had better stay there and defend your place. I ran over to the Brien this morning, and the zed numbers have dropped dramatically. I guess they are moving on to other hunting grounds. I reclaimed my bar and started the rebuild process. There are small pockets of zeds left, but I think they are mostly humans awaiting revives. So any Gulsonside UBA members left alive, it is time toreclaim the bars. Any Gulsonside UBA members left dead, let me or Llew know your location and we'll revive you. - Thor 9:17

7/19/07 - Thor..I'd very much like to come help you but Tollyton has a zed problem of its own. There are about a dozen zeds in the area around the Ferguson and I've heard that a major zed force is invading Tollyton in the Northwest. Having said that, the ole Fergie arms is barricaded and safe for the moment. I'm hiding inside with Hebrew Hammer and a couple others. If you Gulsonside refugees want to stay here until things calm town, feel free and we can go back and rebuild your pubs together when this is all over. - Boris The Red 20:56 (GMT -6)

7/18/07 - Ok apparently I should have logged into the game before I wrote the last message. That revive point is not recommended current as THE BRIEN, THE PERRIOR, CREEK NT, ZACHARIAS HOSPITAL, and ST. FRANCIS ARE COMPLETELY WIPED OUT!! I woke up dead in my bar, and Llew revived me. We did a little scouting and there are about ~150 zeds in our home territory and a whole lot of dead UBA members. Most of the zombies seem to be members of the zombie group LUE. Not to sound like too much of a pessimist, but I don't think we have the man power, ammo, or revives to handle a group this size. Llew and I are opting for guerilla warfare as long as we have safe places to retreat to and as long as we can scrounge up ammo. - Thor 23:56

7/18/07 - Well I don't know about the Crowbank area, but the UBA does have an official revive point in Gulsonside. It is the cemetery south of the Brien Arms. This point is very actively worked. - Thor 23:37

7/19/07 - Good to hear about the elsbury. Is there a set revive point That the UBA have I'm currently in crowbank. Being dead ain't to much fun. - Kazaha

7/18/07 - Ok, the Elsbury Arms is safe again :) Zeds have left the building, only 4 outside and 'cades up to EHB. - dudi4155

7/18/07 - The Mounter, Gibsonton, reopened last night after being out of commission for two days. The bartender is still dead so Dr. Scholls from the Fone is filling in.--Manapua 12:38, 18 July 2007 (BST)

7/17/07 - For those of you who missed my radio broadcast, which is likely everyone as some knuckle head changed my radio frequency and I didn't notice until I was done, the Blesley Mall has about 100 undead in it and they are a bit bite-ty. Also the Elsbury Arms in Crowbank has 15 zombies in and next to it. I couldn't carry enough ammo or re-stock well enough to do much good. Sorry dudi and Sam. - Thor 22:53

7/17/07 - Zed activity is picking up in and around Ruddlebank. Rather than working on my XP and things, I'm spending all my AP on getting enough ammo etc. to defend the bar. To any friends of the UBA in the area; help with the baricades, fuel, and zed control, would be appreciated. Note that we haven't actually had a break-in yet, this is just a precautionary move.

7/16/07 - Ah dudi you live in a hazardous place. I already used half my ammo on your little infestation problem, and all I managed to do was knock half the hitpoints off a brain dead rotter wearing a flak jacket. That still leaves 1 and a half zombies inside the Elsbury and 5-7 more outside it. Speaking of hazardous places. The Blesley Mall is once again filled with the undead, and there are supposedly 23 waiting at the cemetry revive point next to the mall. I don't know how many of those are actually brain dead though. If anyone can, would you please look in on the Brien periodically while I'm up at the Elsbury. Thanks. P.S. Homebrewed mead really warms you up. - Thor 23:17

7/16/07 - Perrior is re-barkeeped, did three revives at official revive point. It's good to be back after two weeks away from the pubs (due to vacation and an apartment water disaster mishap). Will be sending Promqwen back to Belbin to start rebuilding. Also a happy birthday to Thor! - Mhray

7/16/07 - The Mounter in Gibsonton fell Sunday night, after Zombies successfully ransacked the local hospitals and police station. The Fone Arms is still barricaded and Dr Scholls is keeping its taps flowing for as long as possible. I, however, am dead and seeking a revive at Germain Way.--Manapua 14:40, 16 July 2007 (BST)

7/16/07 - We had a huge war in Elsbury Arms, but yesterday zeds at least broken inside. Now we have 9 zombies inside and 7 outside. Some help would be appreciated :) - dudi4155

7/15/07 - Request: Medic! Location: Creek NT revive point Status: Wormy with a slight case of the blues - Jayne N Vera

7/15/07 - Hey Boris, good work with the Ferguson, glad to see I was still alive after being out for almost 2 weeks. I dropped 3 low lvl zeds outside and upped the 'cades to extremely. Dang I love combat revives of low level zeds. Take a decent zed and turn them into a doomed survivor without even the free running needed to get in. Hahaha. - Hebrew Hammer (14:00)

7/15/07 - Welcome aboard Kazaha. There are just a few things we ask of all our barkeeps. 1) Add your name to the bottom of our list of barkeeps above, 2) Put "United Bar Alliance" as your group in your profile, 3) Don't claim a bar that already has an owner, or work out an agreement with that owner, and 4) Serve good drinks as you defend your bar. If you don't want to claim a bar as your own, you can always wander between them offering aid where it is needed. I would recommend having free running as most of us like to keep our bars well barricaded. - Thor 11:58

7/15/07 - Looking to join the UBA and either Barkeep at the Kirkland Arms (haven't seen any groups claim it) when Roftwood gets out of the red level and help out at the Elsbury Arms till then. Can i get a Ok. - Kazaha 19: 30 (GMT+10)

7/14/07 - Where are all the Wray Heights and Gulsonside barkeeps? I have made multiple runs over to the Brien, Perrior, Creek NT, and Zacharias Hospital and I haven't seen any of our founding members. - Llew 10:05

7/14/07 - Boris, LLew and I would love to help as we love smashing zombies, but unfortunately we have been battling our own packing of undead at the Bagot. We keeping killing them, and they keep trying to get in. For some reason they just don't comprehend that UBA establishments don't serving alcohol to people without a pulse. - Thor 9:44

7/13/07 - Friday the 13th must indeed be an unlucky day. Having only recently gotten the Ferguson Arms secured and out of zombie hands, I awoke to find myself dead and infected. There are 3 zeds in the bar and 3 outside. I am sleeping in a nearby building waiting to launch an assualt when my ap get up again. If anyone wants to help, I'd appreciate it, if you're too busy dealing with your own zed problems...I understand. - Boris The Red

7/12/07 - Note to all. The Ferguson Arms has been reclaimed from the zeds. I'd like to give special thanks to JHoova for helping me boot out the unwanted zombie patrons. At the moment there is a group of 3 or 4 zeds trying to break in, so if anyone has the time, feel free to stop by and chop up a zed or two before coming in to spend the night and have a beer. The generator and radio were destroyed, so you'll be drinking by candlelight. - Boris The Red 16:15 (GMT +1).

7/9/07 - As a frequinter of the Ferguson Arms, I killed one of the 5 zeds and dumped the body outside after I woke in the bar and realized they were eating me like the honey-roasted nuts that I enjoy while there. So I healed myself and now there is one survivor in the Ferguson Arms with 4 zeds. Since I find refuge here often, I will continue to help kick out these unwanted patrons. I would like to thank Boris the Red and the UBA for the use of the safehouse, and I commit to helping clean it up. - JHoova Independant_Contractors

7/9/07 - Sadly, I must report that while I slept, a murderous band of zeds broke into the Ferguson arms, killed me, and ransacked the place. There are 5 zeds inside and 2 survivors, who I hope did some of the dirty work of clearing out the zeds while I got revived. I returned and barricaded the zeds inside and will take delight in returning over the coming days to hack them to bits whilst they be trapped inside. At any rate, expect 2 - 5 days before the Fergie is safe to visit again. - Boris The Red

7/7/07 - Dr Scholls, who ran the Fone Arms and served Gibsonton as a doctor, was attacked and murdered by somebody named professor scrot. If he shows up in your pub, beware.

7/6/07 - Zombies successfully sacked The Fone Arms (Gibsonton). We gave them no joy and they found zero brains in the establishment for their efforts. The Fone was only out of commission for four hours and we were back in business by happy hour. Limited service until we get a new generator. So all in all, not a bad attack. If only we could easily get rid of the smell... Manapua 12:34, 6 July 2007 (BST)

7/5/07 - The Fone Arms (Gibsonton)'s service is so great that even the Zeds want in. A gang of seven is currently clamoring to be let in and is busy taking down the barricades.

7/5/07 - Umm bad news folks. The Bagot Arms is under assualt (only five left now) but the doors are only secure. I don't know how other UBA barkeeps in the Bagot fared, but I was dragged out of the Meany Auto Repair and killed. I gnawed on a couple of the zombies outside the Bagot, but I am now awaiting a revive at the cemetery. - Dead Llew 9:01

7/4/07 - Hey all. Just FYI...the Woodruff Mall in Tollyton is under a massive zed assault. Over 70 zeds in the mall (good place to pick up xp), on the bright side, it's on the other side of Tollyton and thus, the ole' Fergie Arms is still a safe place to have a pint and take a nap. - Boris The Red (17:57 GMT -6).

7/3/07 - Hi guys, sorry I havent been more active. RL keeps getting in the way, plus I am very active in another game, which keeps taking my free time. I will try to be on more, dont give up on me! - Dave Johns

6/29/07 - Are any of you going to participate in Biertag? As it's just a few block away from my pub, I will attend the festivities at St. Arnold's Church (Rolt Heights) to spread some goodwill to our neighbors and fellow boozers.

6/27/07 - Dudi, the Blesley Mall is safe as is the Woodroffe Mall in Tollyton. The Belbin is close to Blesley and the Ferguson is close to Woodroffe if you need layover places. As to the other UBA members in Wray Heights and Gulsonside, does it seem like there are more zombies again? For a while we really had the area cleaned out, now I see more singles and doubles while I'm out - with the exception of the Branker Alley PD in Wray Heights which is still drawing crowds of undead (15 tonight). Also, the Ferguson is open in Tollyton with Boris running the bar. I'm there temporarily to act as the bouncer. It will be kept at VS until B oris gets free running, then it is his choice if he wants to go extreme. Any young barkeeps looking for a home, even if temporary, the Ferguson may do the trick for you. - Thor 22:34

6/27/07 - Tomorrow I'm gonna visit Blesley Mall in Gulsonside, and I just wanna ask if someone can confirm that the mall is safe? - dudi4155

6/26/07 - Thor since you're staying at my bar I wanted to let you know that while none are attacking the pub at the moment there are a total of 12 zeds within one building (just step outside and you'll see). We're surrounded. I went out to fight. The zed immediately west only has about 25 hp left. Unforunately, I don't have free running and the bar is too heavily barricaded for me to get back in. Outside and out of ap. Will try to find somewhere else nearby to stay and will definitely continue fighting these bastards. - Boris The Red 22:02 (GMT - 6)

6/26/07 - I'm out on the PD raid. I've got enough zeds up at Belbin to keep me busy. I'll let Jayne know, last I heard he was just wandering in East Grayside looking for action. - HH

6/24/07 - Sorry Thor but I'm going to have to hold off on joining your assault on the zeds of Wray Heights. My contact within the Phoenix Division (a special forces unit in Tollyton) informed me that as he was passing my bar (the Fergie)yesterday he noticed multiple zeds trying to break in. So I'm going to return and defend my bar. Unfortunately, I do not yet have baracading capability so if anyone feels like stopping by and helping me rebuild and (if the worst happens) reviving me..feel free. Boris The Red

6/24/07 - Thanks for the heads up Thor. I'll head that way tomorrow and help split some skulls with you fellows before having a nice drink at my first visit to the Bagot.

6/23/07 - For anyone interested, Brancker Alley PD in Wray Heights (two north-east of the Bagot Arms) is offering continuous entertainment in the form of zombie hunting. As of tonight there were 14 zombies at that building waiting to be killed. Now Ironstar and I have been trying to oblige them, but we just can't keep up with the demand. We have been killing as many as we can for over a week, and they just keep coming back. With 14 moving and another 24 lying on the ground, that's a lot of experience points waiting to be gained. So anyone looking for a bit of target practice head to the PD and stay at the Bagot. - Thor 23:50

6/21/07 - Welcome everyone to the Rayment Arms in Pescodside, the newer, trendier, hopefully less PKier pub tended by yours truly. Stop on by for a pint and lend a hand scrubbing zombie guts off the wall as I set up shop again. - Von Bob

6/21/07 - I'm not entirely sure what happenend, but I'm dead now. I need a revive of course, but I think that the bar is secure. If anyone could swing by and keep it open while i'm busy getting rezed, that would be great. -Ozfard

6/21/07 - Well, in the time it took for me to be killed by a PKer and revived, some other group of the living has reclaimed the Much Arms in Dulston, and as there a lot more of them than me, I will be moving shop down to Pescodside. I know of a lovely little tavern with a resident zombie who is need of being shown the door. - Von Bob

6/21/07 - Hey all. While making my way through town, I stumbled across a nice abandoned bar in southeast Tollyton (just a hop, skip, and jump away from the Belbin). It's called The Ferguson Arms. Rather than continuing on to the Buckrell, I think I'll call "the Fergie" home. It will take me a while to get it up and running, but it's very strongly barracaded and seems a good base. Should I update the list of bars under UBA control at the top of the page? - Boris The Red 00:33 (-6 GMT). PS are you guys using GMT?

6/20/07 - Hey as the resident medic, I find it rather annoying when I got to heal someone and the game tells me that my patients wounds have already been healed as well as I could have done (or some such dribble) and then it still uses up my first aid kit. Does anyone know what this means? I tried healing Thor because he is at 40hp, and I tried healing some other bar patron who was at 22hp. I was denied both times. - Llew 22:50

6/20/07 - I've been up here at the Elsbury assiting Sam and dudi for a couple of now and every time we get the place cleared out, the zombies come rolling back in. We currently have 6 waiting for tables outside with another 10-15 eating away at the Burt PD next door. If anyone is looking for a bit of adventure, the Elsbury Arms is looking for assistance. - Thor 22:47

6/20/07 - Not too many showing up at the revive point, which is making my job easy. Plus there are several in Creek that are helping with revives as well. If you're in need of some help, stop on by! - Mhray

6/20/07 - Actually its not illegal in UD to have multiple characters. The game has built-in anti-zerging measures, usually in terms of odds adjustments for combat and searching, if two or more characters have logged in from the same IP address and appear to be cooperating, ie in the same suburb. Personally I believe it is simply a personal choice, but I do know a lot of people who have multiple characters who have managed them just fine without any complaints of zerging. So Boris its up to you. As a side note the UBA has no policy against zerging so long as you keep to the group mission of protecting the bars. So Boris the choice is up to you whether to leave Mr. Briggs to the mean streets of Malton. - HH

6/19/07 - Thanks. Then Mr. Briggs will be exiled to the wilderness and left to sleep on the streets. He will certainly be dead within a matter of days. My apologies on that one. I thought it was okay to have multiple characters...just not in the same area. Goodbye Briggs...rest in peace. -Boris The Red

6/19/07 - Well, zerging, or the use of multiple charactors, is one of the major UD crimes. I used to run 3 diffrent charactors, mostly because I just wanted to play more each day. Once I realized that this was frowned on, I kinda stopped playing for about a year. I just recently created a new charactor (Ozfard_ and my old ones are still abandon. So to answer your question, the most ethical thing to do would be to abandon one of your charactors/give it to a friend. I don't really know what you should do, honestly.

6/19/07 - I have an ethical question. In addition to Mr. Briggs, I have a second character in the game...a fireman named Boris the Red. Boris is slightly more advanced that Briggs (2 zeds killed) and would be better at running the Buckrell than Mr. Briggs. I propose to send Boris (it would take about 3 days) to the Buckrell and then send Mr. Briggs to help out at one of the other pubs (any requests?) in another suburb. Does that sound acceptable to everyone? If not, I'll still send Boris to the pub and just send Mr. Briggs out on his own as a random Zed hunter. - Mr. Briggs/Boris the Red.

6/19/07 - At the begginig better find DNA Extractor and get NecroTech Employment skill. For one DNA extract you will get 4 exp. This is the easiest way to get some levels for beginners. - dudi4155

6/19/07 - Yeah, shooting at zombies is inexplicably hard. Even when you're really high-level, you'll only hit 65% of the time.

6-18-07 (23:00 GMT -6) - Thanks for the info Thor. I'm actually military (just happened to find a first aid kit while looking around). I'd love to lay claim to the Buckrell....unfortunately, I've only been at this for two days and haven't really figured out just how to do everything I need to do (when I shoot at a zombie I miss about 70% of the time). I'll hold off on officially installing myself as the Buckrell's barkeep. I'll probably spend a couple of days getting my bearings in that area and if things don't work out to my liking I'll head to Gulson. Thanks for having me. -Mr. Briggs.

6/18/07 - Ahh Mr. Briggs, first you did two things right - you are in a bar and you added your name to the list. Beyond that, the UBA does not have missions (other than those stated). You can claim the Buckrell if no one has, and you can forge ahead asking for aid when you require. Or you can come in to the "home-base" of Gulson. The Brien and Perrior are centralized powers that will offer you a safe place to work out of as you earn XP. The decision is yours to make. Our barkeeps have free reign of their work. Just for reference Ironstar, Hebrew Hammer, Mhray, Jo March, and I started this little group, so if you need any help contact any of us. All of our barkeeps are friendly though and will be willing to help. Going it as a doctor or medic is a tough way to start, so I would recommend learning some offensive skills when you can. Then when you have more XP earned, you can pick up the scientist skills. As a seperate note to the Bagot and Elsbury barkeeps. The PD next to the Bagot is crawling with 16 zombies. The PD next to the Elsbury had 8. - Thor 22:07

6/18/07 - I want to join the UBA..name is MrBriggs, currently hiding in the Buckrell Arms in Gibsonton. What should I do? I'm a noob and need to get better...have a first aid kit.

6/18/07 - Zmobie have left the elsbury, so it's under our control again. I've updated bar status. But thanks for the interest anyway :) - dudi4155

6/18/07 - Dudi and Sam, any plans to retake the Elsbury? My bouncer is currently in southern Santlerville loading up on ammo, 4 suburbs away. He could be fully armed and at the Elsbury in 2 days. Depending on whether or not the ferals harassing the Fone Arms next door move along, his associate might be available to assist. - Manapua

6/17/07 - Well, "btdwn" got me while I was sleeping. Kill him on sight. No idea if the Much is still safe. Mrh? - Dead Von Bob

6/16/07 - Thanks Thor, but zeds have broken in during night and killed everyone. - dudi4155

6/15/07 - I have returned from my run to the southwest, and blasted through the Bagot and Belbin on my way to the Elsbury. Dudi and Sam, I'll be there tomorrow some time. I ended up just in the middle of Crowbank. I bring ammo and a few revives. Are there any good resources buildings in your suburb? As a note to those of you in Wray Heights, there are still zombies in the school, PD, hospital, and NT near the Bagot. Only one lft in the PD and 2 in the school; a few loners were wandering the streets. Does anybody know where the new headquarters for the Whiskey company are? I was trying to meet with them before Mall Tour '07, but things got slightly fubar at that time. - a wandering Thor 22:40

6/16/07 - We need help in elsbury arms. 10 bodies and 11 zombies outside. Zeds still breaking in... - dudi4155

6/15/07 - Well the last zed in the Bagot is finally down. There are now 7 bodies outside though. So the Bagot is back in our hands but it could still get interesting. - Ironstar

6/14/06 - A representative of The Burchell Arms Regulars visited the Mounter Arms to spread goodwill. They're happy to learn about likeminded pub-defense groups like this. If you find yourself in Rolt Heights, stop by to say, "Hello." They enforce a two-drink minimum.

6/13/07 - I am currently close to Bagot hiding in a church to the east. The situation looks quite grimm with my sturdy axe I managed to kill one of the zombies but there are still 2 more outside and I have no clue about the inside. When zombies stand up their numbers will probably increase again. Not much i can do at this low level. We need backup! - Lenc Chroso

6/13/07 - The Bagot is sending out an immediate SOS. Thor you left at the wrong time. I woke up dead outside along with Ironstar. Dave Johns was still alive. There are 4 zombies outside and 6 inside the Bagot. I clawed the one who killed me, then moved back to our revive point (which, by the way, some moron has spray painted over). Anyone with AP, head to the Bagot. - Dead Llew 9:23

6/13/07 - Ozfard, I'm on my way loaded with ammo and a couple of revives. Sorry no radio. I've been hauling west from my bar, and ran out of AP at the east end of Lockettside. I might get to you by tonight. Oh, that means that once again I've left the Brien in your capable hands Emily. - Thor

6/12/07 - I'll be down once I've got my AP full to help out how I can. - Andrew Von Dirigible

6/12/07 - We had a (relatively) major breech at the Lawson arms today. I don't think we've lost anyone yet, but I'm out of AP. I rebarricaded and used my last few points to heal the regulars. There's still one zombie inside. Anyone nearby, we could use a hand! -Ozfard PS: We could use a radio here. I haven't scrounged one up yet.

6/11/07 - Glad to help out in any way, Thor. Also, I have five revives and four first-aid kits if anyone needs help. Oh, and if anyone needs a generator/radio/fuel, Tallywa just got some. Just tell us over the radio, and she'll head out. I'm still trying to get her to join up. (note: Tallywa's player is my next door neighbor, so I get to bug her a lot.) Also, some members have been making additions to the S.U.N. without signing, please sign from now on, it helps to know who a post is coming from.- Emily Johns

6/11/07 There was a minor break-in at our hospital yesterday, but everything's fixed up now. The Lawson Arms has fuel for the next 7 days or so. I used the last of my FAKs and got enough xp to take either firearms training or necrotech; I took the violent one. :) Also, what do you guys think about organizing an expedition to New Arkham or Crooketown to rebuild? I don't actually know what the situation is over there, but the map calls them ghost-towns. One more thing: someone should change this page to include the new suburbs the UBA is in. I'm not wiki-savvy enough.--SirBlastalot 15:41, 12 June 2007 (BST)

6/11/07 - An FYI to all those out there, the Much came under attack by murdering PKers today and wiped out all my clientele. Thankfully, while a doctor who practices on himself has a fool for a patient, he stays alive nontheless. Do not revive any under circumstances allow "btdwn" or "sean per 2" to live/be revived if they wander down to your area. - Von Bob

6/10/07 - Tony Pirelli was in Meany Auto yesterday and asked about joining, said he had 9 other survivors interested too. If anyone sees him please let him know that we'd love the extra help. We have a rotter at revive point and outside Creek, I have tried to kill them, but I just don't have enough AP to do it. Perrior is going to need some fuel, but I'll get that done tomorrow - Mhray

6/10/07 - The Bagot is up and running again. We still need a transmitter, but the IAMNOT group next door provided a generator. I sent them our thanks. There is a group of 5 zombies at the nearest PD (the other side of Cheek FS), but the Bagot was clear when I left it. I also saw Llew up and around. He still looked a little pale, but he was out loading up on first aid and healing the sick. On a personal note, I'm amazed that the UBA has grown so large. I think it will be my personal goal to seek out each one of our member establishments (besides Emily does an outstanding job of running my bar when I wander off)- Thor 22:26

6/10/07 - I have 7 revive syringes for those in need. I'm hanging out right next to the revive point in Gulsonside and I do nothing except work the revive point, so if you suddenly find yourself zombie-fied feel free to head on down - Jo March

06/09/07 - Hmm.. you don't check in for a day and you get eaten. Well I looked through the list of zombies who attacked me, and they didn't seem to have anything in common. I guess they just breezed in. Hopefully with the beating they quickly received, they will just breeze back out. We will need a new generator and transmitter though, and I'll need a revive. I'm waiting at our standard revive point. - Llew

6/9/07 - I brought my hammer of wrath on the zombies who desecrated the Bagot. I kick the last one left in the balls, and tossed his sorry butt out. I also had the time to build the barricades back up to very heavily, so we should be good for a bit. - Thor

6/9/07 - Perrior and Brien are doing well, have refueled both. Did see Baggot under attack when I went to get fuel, so I healed Ironstar as best I could and started attacking the zombies. If you need revives get back to the official point, Jo March has three syringes for you. Glad to see that our bar count is rising. Also, will be hosting Sudsy Saturday at the Perrior - half off pints for all! - Mhray

6/8/07 - I do hate it when the customers get dead and rowdy. I have thrown them out, after a sound beating of course, but unfortunately Llew had already fallen to them. So Llew let me know when you stand up and I'll revive you. To our many new members welcome. Feel free to add your prospective bars to the list in the usual format. The bars are uniting! - Ironstar

6/8/07 - I like your goals and have taken the job as publican of the Mounter Arms, Gibsonton. The friendly drunks of the City of Malton Pipes and Drums have agreed to assist me in protecting and maintaining the Mounter as well as the Fone Arms next door. Both pubs are powered and ready to serve customers. With eight pubs, Gibsonton is a haven for drinkers and would-be publicans. Very few zeds, plenty of strong houses. - Manapua

6/8/07 - How goes it folks, Heimer here. Just found your group and thought that after moths holed up in Treweeke Mall (piss poor bars in those god awful malls) I might look around for my own place (or a half decent pub just to hang at). In the meantime you all take care.

         Beer and bullets, - Heimer

6/7/07 - Greetings all. I am Dr. Von Bob operating out of Dulston and I've just set up Much Arms here in the northern extremity of the city. We just had a zombie tour rampage through our neighborhood, so we're all rebuilding, but Much Arms is open and safely barricaded for any travelers needing shelter and a pint of ale. I've been around Malton longer than most, so be sure to stop in and just shoot the bull as well. - Von Bob

6/6/07 - Revived the zed at the revive point, refueled Perrior and for a total vanity run, sent Promqwen to the nearest mansion to get a purple ballgown. And white shoes to go with it. I think I'm going to send Promqwen out to settle a new bar, as everyone seems to be running alright. If you want help at all though, let me know. - Mhray

6/5/07 - I'm going to stock up on supplies and head over to Ruddlebank to take charge of The Holmes Arms in a couple of days. Ozfard and I can support each other instead of leaving him all alone over there. - Andrew Von Dirigible

6/5/07 - All quiet over here. No zombies in sight. I was searching for a generator early today; no luck. I realized just now that the place is overbarricaded, so I'll have to take care of that in the morning.

6/5/07 - Alright based on a quick run around our main set of bars it seems we have two focus areas. So if you need work to do, aid in decreasing the zed count outside the PD nearest the Bagot or heading north to remove the loner zeds up by the Belbin. To those with bars outside of the main grouping any problems you need assistance with? - Ironstar

6/5/07 - Does anyone have some spare revives? I have some zeds up at the Belbin requesting to be alive again. Also if anyone is interested there is a zed with 7 hp in the Lazarus, I would rather a UBA member get the kill since I ran out of AP. - HH

6/4/07 - Hey Ozfard welcome aboard. Feel free to add your name to the UBA barkeeps list. The choice of bar is up to you, but it would be great to have a presence on that side of the city. If you do decide to stay there, go ahead and add your bar to the list. Speaking of which, Billings you still need to add the Cresley to the official bar list. If anyone has some syringes there are two zeds requesting revives in the cem 1S of the Belbin. Thanks - Hebrew Hammer

6/3/03 - Welcome Ozfard! Feel free to claim the Lawson! We're always looking to expand the network of friendly pubs. My daily happenings: fueled Brien, did a few revives (thanks Emily for one!) and healed a few folks. Does anyone need help at a bar? Promqwen can leave Cresley with Billings being back - Mhray

6/3/07 - Hello there. I'm a long-time player who just stumbled on this page, and I'd like to join your group. There's an uninhabited bar near me in Ruddlebank, the Lawson Arms. Or, if you like, I could head over to wherever you guys are. -Ozfard

6/2/07 - Hey all. A word of caution - northern Wray Heights is not a great spot to head into with the intention of staying overnight. It's nice being alive again and back in the Cresley. - Capt. Billings

6/2/07 - Sent Mhray on a fuel run, Jo March is waiting at the revive point (stupid zeds formerly in Creek) and Promqwen is back at Cresley. Also did a bit of healing and refueling where I could. - Mhray

5/31/07 - Ironstar must have taken out the zed in Bagot. I dumped the body and did a bit of healing out and about tonight. There are 3 zombies standing outside the Bagot, so that's not good. Also, the Silwood NT is down and St. Seraphims has 12 zombies outside it. I ran into Thor, and he said that he had traveled to Trivola Street to handle that revive request. He said there was a guy named Wally T there he revived but no lady named Lyonee. Apparently Trivola Street is a revive point for the DEM, but I don't think there are all that active (or successful). Oh and Emily Johns, were you just camping out at our revive point when Thor passed through? - Llew 23:47

5/31/07 PM - Hey, who let the zombie in at the Brien? Ironstar is the only one left there, I beat the zed about the head and shoulders, and got him down to around 45HP before I had to duck next door to rebuild AP. If the bar is at EHB, how do they get in? - Dave Johns

5/31/07 Hi all my wife's character as well as my own are both dead but near you in Wray Heights. Is there anyway we can trouble someone for a revive? I am a ways off but she is tight at Trivola Street and uses the character name "Lyonee". We have been away from the game for a bit but we are looking to make a comeback and being dead makes it hard for us ;)

5/29/07 - Currently up in the Roftwood area, moving around until I can get construction then plan on moving on down to Tollyton and attempting to secure one of the bars down there. -- Andrew Von Dirigible

5/29/07 - Sorry I haven't posted in a while dears. Anyway, Emily is up and aroun in the Brien, and has some revives and a DNA Scanner if needed. My friend, Tallywa is abit lost, but she's camped out in a club for the night, she's working on leveling up before she joins the UBA. The cades were up too high on St. Francis, but I took care of them. - Emily Johns

5/28/07 - Beware those of you who are out and about tonight. Our normal entrance at St. Francis is overbarricaded. Anyone with a crow bar is welcome to fix the problem - I didn't have much luck and poor Thor is sleeping in a "secure" building as a result. Also the Cheek FS has 7 zombies inside, St. Seraphim's Hospital has 16 outside, and Silwood NT is loaded too. Anyone looking for hunting should try Wray Heights, then camp out in the Bagot Arms. - Llew 22:33

5/28/07 - Perrior is all nice - but had someone run in and die there. Ran out of AP before I could kill. Can someone either kill or revive? Revived Ironstar and one other, did some healing for folks in Creek NT. Sent Promqwen South to Cresley to help out as Billings has been zombie-fied. Also, if people need to get in contact with group members and don't want to publicly post, feel free to email novelistmhray at yahoo.com. Please put urbandead in the subject line so I don't delete it.- Mhray

527/07 - Bar Report: The Brien is powered and has radio contact. The Bagot has power, but no radio yet. Zombie Report: Silwood NT and St. Seraphim Hospital in Wray Heights are loaded with zombies (roughly 15), Broad Ave PD in Gulsonside is secure for now, but has 14 dead bodies outside, and there seems to be a group of 5 hanging circling the Pledger Hotel in Gulsonside. - Thor 21:49

5/27/07 - Perrior is totally fueled up. Have Jo March working the official revive point again. One rotter there, but will revive all others who come quick-like. Does anyone need help at a certain pub? Promqwen would like something to do other than fueling runs. And a big welcome to the new barkeeps and bouncers! Also, Sam Awesome, I might be copying your bar page idea for the Perrior - especially the "Currently on Tap" section. - Mhray

5/26/07 - Broad has been cleaned up but needs a builder to go in 'cade up the place. Vera had her some good fun today. - Jayne N Vera

5/26/07 - One revived at Broad PD and another outside Creek NT. Re'caded Creek before running out of Ap. One of the two zeds left in Broad is a rotter so if you are looking for a beating target go right ahead. - Ironstar

5/25/07 - The UBA is rapidly expanding its ranks. We started with just a few members trying to hold onto the Belbin Arms (still a contentious locale), and now it seems as if we have new members every day. I would request that all the new members make sure to add their names to the "UBA Barkeeps" list above. We want to make sure that all members are officially listed. Also I thought it might be nice for every member to briefly post where they are mainly operating out of and the local conditions (zombies, barricades, resources, power, radio). I know many of members float between several bars, and that's great - just list them all. Not only will this give us an idea of our strengths and weaknesses, but it also may identify hot spots that need a bit of concentrated effort. - Thor 8:28 PS - Thanks Mhray and/or Ironstar for getting our page back up and running (though I got this "Welcome New User" thing when I signed on.)

5/23/07 - Well, I ran away when zeds broken inside again ;) - dudi4155

5/23/07 - Much thanks dudi4155! I just got revived and will be back to the Elsbury shortly. Hopefully I'll see you there. - Sam Awesome

5/22/07 - We, as a group, don't use email or IM, just leave a note for him here. Also please sign your posts so we know who is saying what, but thanks for trying to help him out. In other news, Ironstar reports in with 3 revived and some re'cading of the PD near the Bagot. I just installed a transmitter into Perrior and have a fuel can but am out of AP. Since Belbin is not in the most secure location, I figure I will spend a while doing fuel runs, and rebarricade it on the way through each day. - HH

5/21/07 - Guys, I'm in Elsbury Arms. Building has been barricaded by some other players, but barkeeper (Sam Awesome) is dead... I need to contact him so i can revive him - my lvl is too low, i cant stay there alone Forever ;] Does anyone have his mail or msn? - dudi4155

5/21/07 - Welcome new members, come for the entertainment, stay for the beer. A few notes to pass on. If you are claiming a bar of your own, make sure there are no prior claims on it. Also it helps if it is within 1 days travel distance of the main cluster. All of our bars are currently rebuilding thanks to the Mall Tour 07, but they will soon be powered up and have transmitters in them. All transmitters should be set to 27.51. Other than that, welcome and have a round on me. - HH

5/20/07 Hello all, Capt. Billings here, reporting in. I've just set up shop here in the Cresley Arms in NE East Grayside. I've been a freelancer hanging around Dulston and some of the sketchier areas of Malton since my unit disbanded. Come stop in and have a pint on the house if you're a UBA member. - Billings

5/19/07 Hello fellow alcohol addicts, I was wandering if I could join your group which has the best objective of all groups I have looked at (Free the Pubs/Arms). I am currently in Kempsterbank headed towards one of your pubs for a beer. I might not make it, but maybe my need for the beer might save my lowbie (lvl. 1) bottom. Greetz, Lenc Chroso

5/18/07 - All three ladies are back in action. Perrior is doing well. Promqwen revived two and has two more syringes when folk show up at the revive point - note to UBA-ers, if you need to be revived head for the spot near Creek and I'll get you fixed up. - Mhray

5/18/07 - Hello sports fans, well a brief update from my wanderings. If you are in Wray Heights and interested in fighting to save the Silwood NT, then Fram NT is the place to go. They are fully lit and functioning and are right by the Silwood. The Fram is 6N and 2W of the Bagot with the entrance being the Blaxall Library one block north of the NT. In other news I have run up to the Belbin and done some surveying for future expansions. Looks promising with a forecast of partly cloudy with scattered zeds. Well that's the news, remember to stay tuned for your regularly scheduled program, the Zombie Osbornes. - HH

5/17/07 - Glad to hear that Gulsonside is solid. Wray Heights is sketchy. The Bagot is doing very well, but the Silwood NT to the north of us is wide open with 16 zeds around it. Survivors seem to be doing well in the hospital next to it. The PD and fire station next to us are continually being ransacked. I have a constant supply of 5 first aid kits on me (each good for 10 HP), so I can heal your wounds. Make sure you let me know as I don't have diagnosis yet. I also will travel to you if you are too sick to move. Just post in the newsletter, and I'll get to you. - Llew (aka Super Medic) 20:47

5/17/07 - While out and about, I notice 4 zeds outside Creek NT. I revived one, but the next in line was a true zed. Anyone looking for target practice could head that way. Otherwise activity in SW Gulsonside seems low. I think I will run for ammo and such at the mall and see how that is faring. - Thor 20:10

5/16/07 - Well done everyone, we are back. Now lets make sure we stay that way. Broad ave. PD needs some assistance, and the Showers Building NT in Scarletwood is under seige. I know a lot of used their help during the dark ages so lets help them out. Most importantly just remain active and whooping rotter ass. If they know they won't survive long here they'll get bored and wander off. I think tomorrow I will be heading north to check on the Belbin and see if we can add one of the original bars back on the list. - HH

5/13/07 - Crowbank's been going beautifully Llew! We've had numerous break-ins but they've been put down quite quickly with very few (if any?) casualties. I'll hopefully find the time to install a genny and transmitter shortly and I've always got revives a-plenty if anybody needs that sort of thing. ;) - Sam Awesome

5/12/07 - Promqwen installed gennies in both Perrior and Brien. She and Mhray are holding down Perrior. Once Jo March is revived I'll start working the revive point again. Cheers! - Mhray

5/12/07 - Just to give a little update. I think the UBA is really showing itself as a powerhouse in Gulsonside and Wray Height (which reminds me, how is Crowbank faring?). I fueld the Creek NT and the Zacharias Hospital is fueled as well. I'm operating a doctor's office out of the Bagot, so if you find yourself hurting come for a visit. I take walk-ins. You will have to announce your need (either verbally or posted here) as I don't have diagnosis yet. My work is good for 10HP, and I almost always have two kits on me. - Llew 13:17

5/9/07 - Ironstar and myself have been out and about reviving as many solid zed killers as we can. So far 3 around the 3 bars and 3 more at the official UBA revive point. We have a lot of people waiting for revives so let's show them that the UBA can manage its revive point. The Darnell Building in Wray Heights is powered up and well guarded, a great place to grab syringes. The Showers Building in Scarletwood has been recently retaken and is a close stop by the cemetaries for syringes. The junkyard next door is a safe place to spend the night. A few more revives and we'll be on track for a fantastic bar Grand Opening party very soon. - HH

5/8/07 - I'm inside the Brien, and Tallywa is stationed outside to keep out any partycrashers. I suppose I can fix some drinks to go with any fighting, but I can't know how good they'll be due to the fact that I'm rather bleary-eyed right now. A revive and some cades would be nice. - Emily the zombie bartender

5/7/07 PM - somebody keeps trying to knock our barricade down. I upped it to VSB before I ran out of AP. anyone else wanna throw a barstool on the pile? - DJ

5/7/07 - Well Thor was sleeping in the hospital that is now open to the world. Let's jsut say that Thor is defending the Bagot from the outside again. If anybody has a spare revive, he could use it. Also, I was unable to find any FAK tonight as a result of the zombies residing in the hospital. Sorry, I'll try again tomorrow. - Llew 21:44

5/7/07 - The bagot is actually positioned quite nicely, backed into a corner like that. I have been trying to get the cinema up to EHB, but the zeds keep thinking someone is in there and knock it down. So, again it seems a strong offence is the best... um, offence. Anyone talk to Whisky company? Maybe we can plan a "cleanup day", let everyone load up on syringes, build AP, and go on a sweep of the neighborhood. Pick a day when most of our staff can be on at the same time. Someone check with Whisky, see if they would be up for it. - DJ

5/7/07 - We have established a good foothold so lets keep it going. Llew good idea we'll need the healings. The 3 zeds outside are rotters so blast/swing away at them. Otherwise revive as many as you can. I have begun barricading random buildings to divert some of the attention. Let's take it all back. - HH

5/6/07 - Hehe, apparently I spent the night with a zombie and I woke up alive! I really need to cut back on those vodka nightcaps. You just never know who you'll wake up next to. Anyway, I'm back in Bagot, and I've brought healing. I will contnue to make runs up the the hospital and heal the needy. That will leave other UBA members free to do what they do best. Just think of me as a mobile hospital. - Llew

5/6/07 - Thanks DJ for the barricades. I must admit that I was nervous last night. I brought the Bagot up to very heavily. I too read Gunner92's profile (and group website). I debated on beating the tar out of him, but thought I'd let him make the first move (if he has any intentions). He doesn't have free running yet, so as soon as he leaves, he won't get back in the bar. If he does do something, then a world of hurt will be brought down on him. PS. There is a zombie hang around the outside of the Bagot. If anyone can take him/her out, that would be good before it draws attention to us. Also, the NT building 2 squares to the north has 20 zombies beating on it, but the hospital next to it is at extreme and doing well. Oh, and Mhray, give me a location, and I can revive a few. - Thor 9:45

5/6/07 - All of my girls are currently in zombie mode. I'm working on getting them revives, but we'll see how that goes. - An unhappily dead Mhray

(UPDATE, Gunner92 is hanging in the Bagot with us, he is a member of Red Rum, a PK group. I have no AP, and no weapons! Oboy. )

5/5/07 late - I am alive! I got to the Bagot, and barricaded it up to VSB before I ran out of AP. tomorrow, I was thinking about making a safehouse out of the cinema next door, 'cade it up as as high as we can (while still allowing free run from the bar) - then as the dead barstaff makes it into the Bagot, the live ones can dash out of the safehouse, revive 'em, put another quarter in the jukebox, and duck back inside. Ironstar et al, what do you think? -DJ

5/5/07 - I have to agree with Thor. The Bagot is not safe. I tossed the body outside, but I can't barricade. I spent the rest of my AP looking for a safe place close to the bar. Every building had at least one zombie in it. I'm not sure who I bedded down with. I won't be surprised if both Thor and I are dead in the morning. - Llew 23:30

5/5/07 - Uhh HH, I don't think the Bagot is as secure as you think. So I spent a bunch of AP reviving, then ran over to the Bagot. The problem is the doors were wide open, Ironstar only had 2 hp, and there was a zombie in there. I revived the dude, but now am negative. - Thor 23:15

5/5/07 - Dave Johns and Emily Johns, welcome back to the world of the living. The Bagot would like to welcome everyone to come on over. We are rebuilding and would appreciate the help. The zed presence is low no more than groups of five around mostly ones and twos. Between Ironstar and I we have 12 syringes to assist those in need. - HH 17:54

5/5/07 - As my Cinco de Mayo present to all the good little UBA undead, Uncle Thor will be coming soon with revives. I'm at an undisclosed location for the time being, but I have enough syringes for all. Now all I need is the AP for travel. Wait patiently, and gnaw on some zombie to pass the time. I'm on my way! - Thor 11:28

5/5/07 - HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!!! ...also, if anyone is running around reviving, I am hangin out at the junkyard just south of Creek - at the moment I am the only zombie there, and someone has been kind enough to barricade me in! feel free to revivificate me. I hate moving this slowly... _ DJ

5/4/07 - Umm Thor, you and I had the same bad night. After you revived me, I spent forever in the hospital curing my infection, then I jsut stumbled from building to building looking for one without a zombie. Each building had at least 1, so I fell asleep exhausted in a warehouse. Apparently my undead roommate didn't care for my intrusion. Back to dead I go. - Llew 8:18

5/4/07 - Well I was up and fighting, and now I'm down and dead again. I thought I was safe for the night, but there was one very determined zombie who broke through the barricades and clawed me to death. - Thor

5/3/07 - As Ironstar is the leader of this crew, he probably keeps better taps (hahah, pun intended) on available bars and prime locations. I have a couple of suggestions though. In Crowbank, there is the Meade Museum and the Elsbury Arms. I realize the museum isn't a bar, but who can pass up the name? The Elsbury is flanked by two police departments, so it should be secure but it might be occupied. In Tollyton, there is the Ferguson Arms. At one point, I was the barkeep there but I left it for the more concentrated bars in Gulsonside. At that time, no one claimed it, but I can no longer say its status. DJ, I love the recipe. I'm surprised none of us thought to post it yet. As far as your "personal questions", you know you shouldn't go home with all the women in your bar - you just never know where they have been. Uh, no offense to the female members of UBA. In all reality, Ironstar, Hebrew Hammer, or Mhray might know a better way to handle communication. We have used the in-game cell phones in the past, but being dead seems to limit your cell reception. - Dead Thor 8:46

5/2/07 - B.A.R.'s been bitching about the Knight Arms being a "satellite pub" of theirs so it looks like I'm relocating. If anybody had an suggestions for something in the Gulsonside area, it'd be most appreciated. I was thinking I'd maybe look around Crowbank. :) - Sam Awesome

5/2/07 - well I am still dead, but chewing on other zeds is slowly bringing my XP up, so that is a good thing. I had started slogging towards Scarletwood, but from recent conversation, it seems everyone is milling around the Brien after all - yes/no? Also, is there an IM/email feature to this thing? i need to ask some questions best not put on a public board... - DJ (PS - in case you didnt know, here is the recipe for a ZOMBIE! ) 1 part each of: white rum, golden rum, dark rum, apricot brandy; 1 part pineapple juice, 1 part papaya juice; ½ part 151-proof rum !! Dash of Grenadine or other syrup Preparation: Mix ingredients other than the 151 in a shaker with ice. Pour into glass and top with the high-proof rum. Notes: Because of the high proof rum, this cocktail could be lit if desired. (feel free to edit or delete if you consider it inappropriate for the SUN.)

5/1/07 - Well I expected to go down as I spent my last AP reviving Mhray and Promqueen, but I was not expecting HH to be eaten as well. That police station was apparently an unwise location. Oh well. On the positive side I agree with Llew the zeds seem to be getting bored. The smell strange means they are zeds who were revived and collapsed, they will be human again when their player signs on and they stand up. So thats a good thing not a new plague. - Ironstar

5/1/07 - I don't know if this is positive or just false hope, but there are only 3 zeds at Brien (2 are personal enemies) and 1 at Perrior. There are 20-some-odd at the cemetery, and I don't know if they are destructive or friendly. The undead population seems to be slowly drifting off. What does it mean when some of the dead bodies and the zeds "smell strange"? Is this something new heading our way or just something I'm not familar with? - Llew 22:08

5/01/07 - Well I must apologize to Ironstar and Emily. The police station I was napping in got raided by a serious pack of zombies. So once again, I am dead. I have moved to a revive point, but there is a long line. If I can get back, I am loaded with revives. - Thor 21:50

4/30/07 - Well Thor is back and fighting. I took out two zeds in Perrior and closed the doors. There was 1 outside, 7 outside Brien, and 23 at the cemetry. I then moved south a couple of blocks to a secure area. I will be striking back with a vengenace shortly. I saw zombie Llew and the bodies of Ironstar and Emily outside the Brien. Hang on and I'll come for you. Ironstar, what happened to you? I have two personal issues with a couple of zombies outside the Brien too, so they will be coming back to human form when I get the chance. I don't know some of the newer members, so it makes it hard to single them out for revives. Is there a good way to solve this problem? I'm open for any ideas, like a group revive point that is obscure. Thoughts? - Thor 21:51

4/29/07 - Alright here's the plan. We do have a strong location but the number of zeds is too high for us to get it up and running right now. Against even 20 zeds we could hold out with a lot of barricading, but every time we have managed to 'cade up any place, its broken into in minutes, and since we have tended to pile into any place we get 'caded we all die. So here is the deal, if you are alive we will be doing constant revives, but base yourself out of scarletwood, east grayside, or wray heights. Gulsonside is rated "Very Dangerous" for a reason. Spread yourselves out and if you fall head back to the bars to await revive. There are several functioning NTs in Scarletwood, the best is the Sealey Building 72, 85. Their revive site is the cemetery one block from the NT. There are 25 bodies on the ground there and 24 have been revived and just need to stand up. Myself and HH are there. Either come down to it or wait where you are for us to come when we have syringes. If you have no NT skills then here is the plan. Medics get into one of the functioning PD or NT in the other suburbs, preferably one also being used by another UBA member and heal, heal, heal. Use that XP to expand your skills into the NT area and then also go on revive missions. Military people, I want you guarding the exterior of any functional NT or PD near the bars regardless of who is in it so long as they are human. The more living humans around the better, we'll need the assistance. If you can guard a site used by other UBA members so much the better. With 10 of us we should be able to set up a constant stream of revives going which will drive the zeds away, and the lack of barricaded structures will mean no XP. I want us to be ghosts no meatbags; run in, revive, run out. This tactic should drive the zeds crazy while restoring bar regulars and others that could assist to health. Let's get to work. DJnrtE - XP does switch but don't attack 'cades, you just make the people inside lunches, instead gain XP by attacking zeds until you are revived. - Ironstar

4/28/07 - Although I am the newbie, and dont have much of a say yet, i have to agree - strength in numbers, and all that. I know it is obvious, but with 2 bars next to each other, a hospital and a necrotech building within a stones throw, it seems a great place to start the power base. Now, if there was a microbrewery in the basement, then it would be certain! (UPDATE: Ack. hung out at the Brien, thought the barricade was strong enough for the afternoon. I was wrong. now I am dead. gonna go be a dead guy for a few. BTW, do XP gained as a zombie cross over when I am revived? It seems pretty easy to beat on barricades and gain quick XP...) - DJnrtE

4/28/07 - I think we need a new game plan. We're dropping left and right. I vote that those who are running bars that have fallen come in to Perrior/Brien as we try to get those up and running. We need to be able to hole Perrior or Brien AND Creek for us to hold on to that area. Jo March was able to get into Creek, kill the zed and find a syringe. As soon as I have some more XP I'll head to Perrior for a revive. - Mhray

4/28/07 - Thanks HH for the welcome - I have only been in town or a couple of days, and dont have enough skills yet to hold off the party crashers on my own. I was hoping to barback at one of the local establishments for a bit before stepping out and opening my own place, if thats ok. so, are all the walking dead hanging around inside the Brien friends of yours? And is it ok to let them run a tab? (also, if anyone has a medkit laying about, I got chewed up pretty good last night...) - DJnrtE

4/28/07 - Dave Johns, no relation to Emily, welcome to the club. Love your profile. So where are you operating out of? Also the Perrior is close to ready to being restored, right now there is only one zed not of the group inside. If we can get some revives we are well posed for a come back. On a happy note, its PARTY TIME! or at least it should be once we get a few bars restored, we made the statistics page with 11 members so pat yourselfs on the back and raise a glass- HH

4/26/07 - Thanks guys, currently we're EHB and there's not a zombie in sight. Seems like we're all set for now. Eventually I'll just need to grab a spray can and make the place home. :) - Sam Awesome

4/26/07 - Quick note. Sam great to have you let us know if you need anything. Emily can you change your profile to say United Bar Alliance rather than UBA? I think everyone would like to see us on the official statistics page and we are very close. We just need 10 people to make it. - HH

4/26/07 - Massive zombies all over Brien and Perrior. Got Mhray out before she got eaten. I'll bring her back tomorrow to start revives if I can find syringes. If you are UBA - STAY PUT! I'll revive you as fast as I can. Welcome Sam!! Do you want any help with your bar, or are you all set? - Mhray

4/26/07 - Hi all, just dropped by the Brien, but nobody was in - what's a guy gotta do to get a drink around here? <grin> - I cleaned the place up a bit, and am now holed up a block or two away, I will drop by a bit later and see if anyone is in. Maybe you are hiring a barback? Will work for beer! - DJnrtE

4/26/07 - New bartender! I've made the Knight Arms my home and put my profile under the Barkeeps section. Looks like a fun group, can't wait to really be a part of it. Currently I'm only 2nd level so I've definitely got some experience to gain before I can become a whole lot of help to the arms, but she's holding strong right now. Our radio transmitter is tuned to to UBA frequency (not that I can broadcast yet) so feel free to keep in contact. Thanks! - Sam Awesome

4/25/07 - Warning to all, if you make a run to the mall have enough AP to get back, HH was Pked while he slept there via the shotgun method. It appears Minions of the Apocolypse have hid human members in the mall crowd. So buyers beware. PS as you may have noticed, I added a section to the page for those special individuals that ruin our happy hour. Those listed are those worth of a shoot first, shoot later, shove the body out the door, and then ask questions policy. - HH out

4/25/07 - Crud. Crud! I'm dead again. There is one zed inside the Brien. Tallywa (my friend from earlier) and I have gotten it down quite a bit. Sorry if that's you, Thor. I Saw a zed and went after it. Oh well, we're hiding among the zombies outside the Brien. - Dead Emily

4/25/07 - Nothing angers me more than logging in to see that some moron has decided to use me for axe practice during the night. I would like to add "raspuz" to our list of do not revives or our list of idiots of the world. Sorry I'm going to rant a bit here, but who spends the night in a man's bar and repeatedly whacks on him with an axe? That's pretty ballsy and dumb. So I did raspuz a favor and helped him transition him from a human to just one more carcass lying outside the Brien. Unfortunately his antics will slow my rebuilding efforts on Creek. - Angry Thor 8:23

4/24/07 - Well my run to the mall for ammo just proved that the rest of the suburb is also wide open to the roaming zombies. Creek will need a bit of work, but I think it is do-able now. We'll need ammo to clean out the zeds, AP to barricade the heck out of it, and a generator and fuel. We need solid resources again to really make a dent in the undead. By the way, Llew said that he only has 1 first aid kit this time, but it is up for grabs. He had to travel to Wray Heights for it. - Thor 21:30

4/24/07 - I think we need to get Creek up and running - and secure!! - before we do anything else. We have 34 zombies waiting at the revive point and it looks really bad for them to be sitting there (especially when two of them are mine). I have Promqwen at Creek right now, but it isn't barricaded at all because I spent all my AP (foolishly) killing the zombie that remained in there. - Dead Mhray

4/23/07 - I will be offering healing to interested parties at the Perrior under the patronage of Mhray. If at all possible, can we leave the barricades at VS so I can come and go as needed. Without free running it is a wee bit difficult to travel safely. I also ran into Thor, and he said he wasted all his AP searching for ammo and revives without any luck. The buildings are in such a rough state that finding anything worthwhile is difficult. - Llew 21:44

4/22/07 - Haha.. the Brien is back in action with Thor at the helm and Emily soon to rise from the dead. Little Llew is loaded with first aid kits, but is currently staying the night in a hotel to the north. The south is a little hot for those without free running. Recon report - 5 outside Brien, 4 outside Pledger, several outside Creek and 1 brain rotter in, 4 outside Zacharias and a couple in, 20 some-odd at the cemetary, Perrior clear with only doors closed, Belbin is wide open with 3 or 4 loitering about, and Lazarus is barridaced at extreme and Spire is at heavily (who the heck did that?). I'm currently out od ammo and revives, but hope to be loaded for bear soon. - Thor 22:05

4/22/07 - MolotovH you are the most awesome regular ever. Thanks to MolotovH, HH is back up and running revives to those in need. If you are having trouble getting back alive, let me know your location and I'll do my best to get you to work on time. - HH

4/22/07 - All of my ladies are dead :( I have them scattered at three different NTs in the hopes that I get one revived quick so I can start reviving the rest of the group. I guess that's what I get for not logging in for a few days. - Mhray

4/20/07 - I'm a bit deadified myself. I'm outside the Brien, killing off zeds along with my friend I mentioned earlier. I'll probably go to the revive point in a bit, but there's currently 17 waiting there right now.- Dead Emily and friend

4/20/07 - Sound off.. Thor's dead, Llew's dead. Somebody must still be in Brien, and I think Mhray was in Perrior with the doors open (she's a risky lady). 8 zeds left at Brien, 4 at Perrior and 1 in, 4 at Pledger, 4 at Creek. - Dead Thor

4/20/07 - Alright roll call, who's alive? HH and Ironstar are down. Both are currently outside the bars taking the enemy down with them. Llew I assume you didn't make it, since Ironstar reported seeing you dragged out into the street. Anyone else? - HH

4/19/07 - Well I guess I was the doomsayer this time. Good job at holding down the fort. There are some serious nasties outside the Brien, but also a lot of in-killing. Zombie accounts for the night are: 3 outside Belbin, 10 outside Brien, 6 outside Perrior, 8 in cemetary, 3 at Creek, 3 at St. Francis, 1 in St. Lazarus, and the hospitalis under siege. On a postive note, I found a member of the Whiskey Company out and about, so they are still in existence. I'm loaded up with first aid kits, so let the healing begin. - Llew 21:17

4/18/07 - Oh barkeeps, we are in a world of hurt. The Perrior and Belbin were both open to the street tonight. I got the Perrior back to VS, but the Belbin is only secure. Sorry HH. I ran out of AP, and am currently sleeping out on the street - aka likely to be dead soon. The Brien was at quite strongly, so well done there. There is a nasty crowd of 12 outside. Creek is holding, but the barricades aren't very high. Broad Ave is still trashed, and it looks as if the fire station will be too. We need a massive shotgun party. - Thor

4/17/07 - So all the bars are back but the Brien is under siege with 10 zeds outside. Ironstar told me he revived 3 at the cemetery and I got 2 more revived there and outside Brien. Most of the 10 remaining seem to be rotters so don't waste your time reviving outside that bar. Lets just kill them off and wait for them to move out with the rest of the mall tour when they head for Penny Heights. One of our regulars, Jayne N Vera, has told me of a plan he has for gaining some XP. His a level 1 scout which means he has no gun/medic/NT skills. After a week of playing and still being at 0 XP he is going to let himself be eaten. A starting zed has a decent hit chance and he'll earn XP eating on the rotters. So if you see a zed with his name don't kill him, he's on our side. - HH out

4/17/07 - News update for the evening. There are 8 zombies outside Brien, 1 outside Belbin, 1 outside Perrior. Don't venture to Broad Ave PD. It is crawling in and out. Thor has moved to the revive point, so that he may help Emily in the near future. - Dead Thor 21:35

4/17/07 - The cades at the Brien are at extremely heavy, and I'm holding down the fort. I will probably need help if they break in though, because my AP is at 18. If you come help, drinks are on me. I love all y'all. Also, We currently have no power, radio, or decor in the premises. And as long as posts are no longer pertinent, it should be fine to delete them. (Edit: A spy/friend who has stationed herself among the zeds outside just e-mailed me that zeds may be headed to the Creek Building next.) - Emily Johns, alive and ready to stab a zed in the face because she's PMSing.

4/17/07 - I've got all three of my girls back and running around. Promqwen is in Baggot, Jo March is working the revive point again and Mhray is going to work on getting Brien back up and running. If you stick at the revive point I'll get you as soon as I can. On the plus side, hanging out there is likely to get you revived by others as well. Would anyone mind if I started deleting old posts, so that we have only a month's worth in the newsletter? - Mhray

4/16/07 - Dead Thor has taken up residence in his bar again, though there were 2 other zombies in there. One only has 1 HP left after I expressed my displeasure at his presence. Sorry to see my fellow barkeeps in my condition. There are 10 zombies outside the bar, 1 outside Belbin, 4 or 5 at Creek, and 3 at the cemetary. Several of the zombies outside the Brien apparently enjoy tearing into other zombies. There is hope there. - Dead Thor 21:53

4/16/07 - With the mall and its NT gone, Creek has become the nearest NT for Belbin, which means I'll be down in the area. I'll revive as many as I can before heading back north. Also Ironstar said he would be assisting Brien during each pass he made from Bagot to Creek and back. Brien will rise again. - HH

4/16/07- I'm sorry... I lost the Brien while I was at school today. I'm chilling in the graveyard south of it. -Dead Emily

4/15/07 - I've been out scouting as that's about the only thing I can do. The Belbin has 4 outside, but is holding. The Perrior is in the clear and at extreme. The Brien is taking a beating with 13 zeds (Dead Thor is creating a bit of chaos) and 12 dead bodies. The Creek has 5, but is at extreme. The Broad Ave PD is screwed with 1 in and 1 out. Their problem are human zombies mixed in with the real humans. The mall is pretty much toast. Other than at the Brien, there are just small groups and lots of singles out and about. I strolled all over without drawing attention to myself. Well that's the reports from the frontlines. - Llew 22:14

4/15/07 - I thought I had made it safe into a school SE of the hospital late this morning, but low and behold I woke up dead in the street. I guess my shambling form will once again be protecting my beloved bar from the outside. I was quite proud of having only human skills for the longest time - oh how the proud have fallen. Well time to go eat some zombies.... Just a thought, but Llew can't likely get into any place other than those at VS as he's without free running. - Dead Thor PS. Sorry Emily.. If you must, retreat, and we'll rebuild.

4/15/07 - Sorry about the cades at St. Francis, Thor, I went out earlier myself, and had to search everywhere to find a way back in. If you want, I'll go fuss at them. I doubt it would do any good though. When I went through the church earlier, there were about four people in there...(Edit: Forget that! there's 4 zeds in St. Francis, two dead bodies and two survivors! I'm unable to help them due to low AP, but I'll try to keep the Brien itself secure! I may need help in a bit once the zeds get bored with the church.)(update: the cades keep getting pulled down, albeit slowly, but I have no AP. I have to go for the night soon anyway and cannot call for help on the radio. The generator will probably run out of fuel soon, please help.) -Emily Johns, only slightly tipsy and very alone.

4/15/07 - Llew I know what you mean, next time you are in the game open your profile by clicking on your name and copy the url. Then paste it in above in the style of the other names. Llew there is a wounded guy in the Belbin, also feel free to go anywhere and heal people. Just earn XP quick so you can increase your combat abilities. For right though, be a medic and go where the wounded are. In other news the Bagot is back after a brief zed occupation, the Belbin was briefly broken into but has since been restored. Good job people lets keep it up and spread the word ... Happy Hour means 1/2 of mixed drinks!

4/15/07 - Well signing in this morning provided a great suprise - Emily and I are sill alive. I stepped outside to see what kind of damage I could inflict. There were 8 zeds milling about, but I put one down. Then, much to my horror, some moron over-barricaded St Francis! I am now awaiting AP down by the hospital entry point. So though I was alive, I may be dead. Also as an interesting side point, the lazy buggers at Blesey Mall are finally fighting. The Mall Tour has taken a serious interest in them, and by some reports has broken in twice. - a very disgruntled Thor

4/14/07 - As a newbie, I am absolutely worthless with my pistol. 4 clips and no hits. I am good with a first aid kit though. So if anyone needs healing, come on up to the Spire. Catch a movie and get healed. Sorry, but it will be a long time before I am truly useful to the UBA. - Llew PS. What do I need to do to my name in the above list?

4/14/07 - Well I would first like to express my thanks to Emily. You make one heck of a barkeep. Second, sorry I haven't been around for a bit. With no access to a computer, I have been left sleeping in Creek. I am back, though without ammo. I have got to get ammo if I am going to be at all effective in the coming battles. Third, sorry Jo March and Promqwen. If I had read this first, I would have revived you both. I am now out of AP though. If you are still there tomorrow (and I'm have not joined your ranks), I'll return you to humanity. That brings me to my final point. I think Emily and I are going to wake up dead tomorrow unless a miracle happens. I noticed the little crowd gathering around the Brien; don't they know I don't serve their kind (unless it is a shotgun blast to the head). I revived one who was a member of Lebende Tote, but the next in line was a level 42 deadhead. I used up the last of my ammo and a few solid axe hits on him, but he was still standing whenI retreated to the relative (and short-lived) safety of the Brien. I did post a little motivating message on the Gulsonside wiki page and in the Broad Ave PD. Hopefully we get a little assistance. - Thor

4/14/07 - We've been relatively lucky actually. I'm also extremely fortunate that the last ability I picked up was construction. The zeds were so busy attacking the customers in the Brien that they forgot to trash the place, so the generator and radio are still intact. I'm holding down the fort, but my AP is extremely low. Any and all help is appreciated and encouraged. (Edit: Hurray, Thor is back!) -Emily Johns

4/14/07 - Brien needs some serious help. EJohns got it back up and barricaded, but there are 13 zeds outside of it. Anyone that can backup, we're going to need you. Promqwen and Jo March are chilling at the revive point. Mhray is in Perrior until I build up some more AP. - Mhray

4/13/07 - The Brien was open to the street and two zeds got in. I got the cades up to "quite strongly barricaded' before I ran out of AP and had to take refuge in the Perrior. Sorry I couldn't Help more... Good luck on getting them cleared out again. (Edit: Changed my mind, I'm in the Brien helping out as much as I can... Dang, I need something better than a baseball bat and a knife...) - Emily Johns

4/12/07 - Alright, for my update both HH and Ironstar are now carrying gens and transmitters to get their respective bars going. HH also has a fuel can but is stuck in Lazarus for the night. The Bagot will be fueled up by the lovely PromQueen after the gen and transmitter is installed tomorrow morning. That will give us four completely operational bars, well done folks but lets keep our eyes open. - Ironstar

4/12/07 - Re-powered Brien, asked Emily Johns to hold down Perrior for a bit. I'm moving one of the ladies down to Creek to do nothing but work the revive point. Sounds kinky, but it really isn't. Also, we need to update the barkeeps section. -Mhray

4/12/07 - Well the Brien had a pretty exciting evening. Sorry to my patrons for lack of diligence, but I see they put up a good fight before they had to flee for safety. I healed myself up and started swinging away with my axe as revives weren't going to do any good. As luck would have it, a fellow with a shotgun stepped in at the right time to help out. Thanks Window Licker - wherever you ended up. The bar is stable again, but is without power (again) and has five deadheads loitering outside. - Thor 8:18

4/10/07 - St Francis has been busted into - need to get some barricades back there. Jo March is at the UBA revive point. Also, we need to re-spray the outside of the Brien to correct for the changed revive point. I think we have a zed at the old one waiting. Keep up the work with the recruitment drive and be sure to add the regulars! - Mhray

4/9/07 - Thor has recruited a new barkeep, Llew Silverhand. He started out in Rhodenbank but made it as far south as Pegton tonight. Two more suburbs to go and he'll be in Gulsonside. Any thoughts on his future duties. As a very newbie medic, he has no experience handling zombies - but he's up for anything. - Thor and Llew

4/9/07 - Well done everyone, the bars are all back and we are expanding. In light of this and some signs of support from non-group players, we will be sending out invitations over the next week. Each of you know your bars best, so invite who you think would be good. Also to show thanks to those who are regular supporters and customers in our establishments, I have added the above section. Again add those you see helping out around the bars and let them know their help has been noticed. - Ironstar

4/8/07 - Gearing back up to work the revives. Would we want to move the UBA revive point to the cemetary next to Creek NT? Just seems easier for everyone and much closer to the NT. - Mhray

4/6/07 - Thor is back and so is his beloved bar! The Brien is back in operation. It may take a while to load up on ammo, fuel, and a transmitter. St. Francis has been extremely barricaded and re-messaged inside. It has always been an entry point, so I thought about tearing down the barricades a bit. - Thor 23:06

4/4/07 - Dead Thor is feasting in Creek. 4 deadheads outside, 4 left inside. 4 at cemetary and 2 east of Perrior. I hope to clear out Creek by the end of the weekend. Maybe I'll be in the holiday spirit and be ready for a revive. - Dead Thor 21:00

4/4/07 - Promqueen is feeling much better after some medical attention. HH has returned loaded up from the mall and has gas'd up Brien. There appears to be some systematic breaking and entering going on, as Billings Row FD has 11 zeds inside it. - Ironstar

4/3/07 - Dea Thor eat zombie at Pledger. Eat half of next. Hide by Perrior. Mean people kill Dead Thor when hide by Brien. - Dead Thor 21:43

4/3/07 - Revived 6 at Pledger, 1 at Creek NT. Two rotters at Pledger. Installed generator in Perrior, we just need fuel and a radio transmitter there. Rebarricaded Creek NT and have headed to the hospital for some FAK. I rock (Of course, having 3 characters also helps) - Mhray

4/3/07 - Zombies must have been a little active last night. The Creek NT is now merely "doors secured" when it was extreme last night. Also the Brien is "wide open" when it was extreme. There are many unhappy zombies that wake up as humans at Creek. Most have asked other zombies to eat them or they commit suicide. I got the one zombie outside Brien down to 5hp; there was one more outside Perrior, 5 outside Creek, and 7 at Pledger. - Dead Thor 8:51

4/2/07 - Dead Thor says, "5 zeds at Pledger, 10 at Creek, 5 at hospital, 6 at cemetry. Dead bodies everywhere." I think the UBA is putting a serious dent in the zombies. I'm eating at Creek for now.

4/2/07 - Actually Thor, you do get XP, just only half the normal amount (rounded down). So each successful attack by claw only gets you 1 xp point. So its slow going but I have defended locations the same way. It is fairly effective since you can cause a large group to become a giant clawing mass as zeds claw around trying to get revenge on the unknown zed that clawed them up. :) As ways fun. Keep up the good work and let us know when you want a revive. - HH

4/2/07 - I've noticed that. I'm making the ultimate sacrifice. Leave me dead for a bit. I've found my zombie self is quite adept at killing rotters. I took out a whole one using only my hands and half my AP. As a UBA barkeep, I'll continue to protect my beloved bar, but I'll do it from the outside. I'll likely stand outside the Brien when I'm not active. Other than that I'll be ripping zombies apart. The only downside is that I don't get experience for killing zombies as a zombie. Would someone take over the care of my bar until I rise again? - Dead Thor

4/1/07 - Pledger has too many rotters to help you Thor when you want a revive, move to another spot and let us know where for the revive. - Ironstar

4/1/07 - Stranded Thor is now Dead Thor. My corpse is on Butt Blvd, I may try going to Pledger Hotel to eat a few true zombies. - Thor

4/1/07 - Ok so the airstrike was funny, but overcadding the fire station was not. I spent all my AP searching for the mall entrance point and tearing down the fire station's barricades. On the positive side, there were absolutely no zombies on the east side of the suburb. That means the UBA has them all. Oh and rotters are blocking the Pledger revive point. - Stranded Thor

3/31/07 - I aim to please. Thanks Promqwen and Mhray for the assistance. Mhray, you are one busy barkeep. I revived two outside the Brien, and bolstered barricades. Out of Ap for now, but I'll grab ammo and revives the next round. I have a spare generator if we need one. - Thor

3/31/07 - 'And not from a coyote ugly' Very nice Thor. Revived three at Pledger, healed Thor for 10, have a fuel can to refuel Perrior - just at the hosp waiting for some healing (at 8HP) and then I'll have it over there - Mhray

3/31/07 - Thanks for the revive, but I'm a little diseased (and not from a coyote ugly). I've got revives to spare, but it hurts way too much to do anything. Anybody have spare health kits? - Thor

3/30/07 - Ran to the Belbin, Mhray and Thor both revived. Let's get on the Pledger revive - Mhray

3/30/07 - Alright barkeeps here's the deal. We are evacuating the Belbin. Its not worth our effort and there is way to large a mob there now to take it back in a reasonable span of time. Killing them, while fun, accomplishes little and they get to earn XP from chewing on our 'cades. So all barkeeps are currently under orders to begin reviving as many as we can (rotters are still to be killed on sight). First at the Pledger Hotel and then continuing out. I have, after a quick run south to be revived, run to the mall and acquired a gen. I installed it at our friendly neighborhood necrotech building. It needs fuel and I am currently asleep in a repair shop trying to get it. If you already have fuel great, otherwise use your AP towards reviving as many as we can. Let's get to work. - Ironstar

3/30/07 - Boy the Belbin is a rough bar to fall asleep in. A man's internet is down for the night, and you wake up dead. Any plans fellow undead barkeeps? - Dead Thor

3/29/07 - Have set Pledger Hotel, next to Perrior and Brein, as official UBA revive point. There is a large group there that needs it. Have revived a few, but didn't have enough syringes for them all. Belbin back to heavily barricaded. - Mhray

3/28/07 - The Belbin is under strong attack, apparently the unruly masses heard about the 1/2 beer Wednesdays and is clawing to get in. I taken care of the one crazy who got in and got the 'cades back up to V. strong but assistance could be used in dealing with those remaining outside. - Ironstar

3/28/07 - Your friendly neighborhood morale officer has back on the air waves today. I hope you all caught my messages of good cheer (and I hope we had a few new listeners). I popped in to my bordering churches and Creek NT to bolster their barricades and morale. I also swung by the Perrior. Sorry Hammer - no fuel yet. I know the guys down at Bland Auto Repair (76,82) in Scarletwood do deliver, but I can't remember their radio frequency. I'll get it the next time I am out and about. A fuel delivery service would be a nice ammenity. - Thor

3/28/07 - I am proud to report that the Belbin is back in business with a full crowd of non-biting customers (if a bit on the creepy side sometimes). Barkeep Mhray was found outside in a braindead state, but thankfully a quick run found the meds to restore her in time for her shift. HH has reported that he responded to a call for aid to the Brien and upped the 'cades to very heavy before going in search of fuel. He was successful but is stuck sleeping in a Serta store in the mall. Such is life - Ironstar

3/27/07 - Well I tried for fuel and syringes, but I spent all my AP and only got two syringes, two GPS units, a generator, and a whole lot of "you find nothing." This was not my lucky night, but if anyone needs a generator I've got a spare. I'll try for fuel (and ammo) again tomorrow. - Thor

3/27/07 - Radio transmitter back in Belbin, just need some fuel. I move that we try and work on group recruitment in the next week or so. I've added us to the recruitment section and have posted some recruitment info on the page.--Mhray1

3/26/07 - A few of Ironstar's favorite hooligans keep beating on the Brien. Sorry I haven't been able to help out the Belbin; all my AP get spent on killing, reviving, and barricading. There are still a few packs of 6 roaming around the south side. They have taken an unhealthy dislike of the Creek NT. - Thor

3/26/07 - The Belbin is back up and running, but operating without lights. Ironstar has a gen but collapsed of exaustion after spending his last AP to make it through the door. Will let everyone know when the bar is fully up and running. - Ironstar
