There is a market town called Malton in North Yorkshire, England.

In Britain, liqour stores are generally called "off-licences".
In Britain, ordinary civilian police don't carry firearms.
In Britain, sales of firearms are strictly limited. Gun stores are practically non-existant.
In Britain, drug stores are called "pharmacies" or "chemist's".
The weather in Britain is generally much more changeable than it is in Malton!

I, as a person who has spent the majority of their life in Britain, would say no.
