[edit] LOL

You're a douchebag. If you'd just stick with the way the wiki intended new posts to be added then there'd be no confusion (see: the "+" symbol) But if you wanna chuck a Finis and just delete my post without answering you can go ahead and do that. I've put up a new barricade plan so I don't give a shit what your input is now anyway. Have a nice day.--Nick? Support Project CP KTHXBYE 08:56, 23 May 2008 (BST)

[edit] My Barricade Image

This one isn't the proper barricade image, it's actually one implying a new idea for one as part of the new 'cade plan for Quarlesbank. There is a really big discussion going on in the talk page of the new 'cade plan, so please talk about it there. Boait Monument and the Cemetery have been the two revive points for a long time in Quarlesbank, see [[Image:UBP-Quarlesbank.jpg]] and you'll see that that one didn't follow the SGP (I don't think). [edit] No Reply to Clarification

A week or two back, you posted on my Talk page concerning NPOV. I posted a reply asking for clarification. I haven't gotten a reply yet. Since Mohammad wouldn't come to the mountain, the mountain is coming to Mohammad. Could you please point out which points in the News update I posted were breaking NPOV, so I can avoid them next time? Thank you. --The Masked Lurker 02:39, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Well, it is and sorry

Sorry about putting that at the bottom, didn't see your rules about your talk page. That being said, no need to freak out, your rules are sort of way down there under you TOC, and therefore not that visible, but in any case you have my apologies. On the other matter, it counts as vandalism under "Impersonating another user" because you edited my comment. If you want to make a commment, you must make your own separate comment and sign it yourself, not change the content of the text preceding my signature. If you have questions about what constitutes impersonation, feel free to ask a sysop. --PdeqTalk* 00:55, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Actually, like I said, I simply removed your comment and replaced it with the sign template, which is more helpful. Granted close, but on the knife's edge, the balance falls in my favor on the Precedent scale. And thank you for apologizing about my talk page. --KamdenM|W|T|H 00:57, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
When I edited the page, it had my signature preceded by your template. Perhaps this was just an oversight on your part to replace my signature with yours. In any case, you may not remove my comments from other people's talk pages. That privilege is limited to me, the owner of the talk page, and sysops. Things you are allowed to delete on talk pages: any comment on your talk page, and any comment you leave on others talk pages. Of course, you comment was more helpful and I have left it there under mine. You may want to take a look and add your official signature, as I just sort of made a simple link to your user page. --PdeqTalk* 01:02, 19 December 2007 (UTC) (EDIT: The policies concerning talk pages can be found here.)
Don't patronize me. I know the rules. Anyhow, please use that template the next time you are consulting with a user who failed to sign. --KamdenM|W|T|H 01:07, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm not patronizing you, I was simply linking you to the rule that you violated. I will use that template in the future, thanks. --PdeqTalk* 01:09, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your Vote on Knockout

I'm not trying to convert you, seeing how voting is already closed, but you just misunderstood my last RE so profoundly that I couldn't just stand by. Let's complete the sentence with the information that is implied by the context: "No, but someone else would (bother me)." And Bounty Hunters are a much bigger bother than RKers, GKers or the like. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 10:36, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Obvisously, you misunderstood me then. Why the hell would a PKer bother with knocking him out? In most suburbs, it would make sense to kill him. He'll spend a 3 days down, get revived. No point in trying to knock him out is there?--KamdenM|W|T|H 16:39, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image Categorisation

I think we're ready to start in on categorising the wiki's images, please read the instructions on that page, and then if there are any further questions, ask on the talk page (or my own page). We've got a big job ahead :) -- boxytalk • 01:19 2 December 2007 (BST)

Huh??? Did I miss something??? I am sooooo confused...... --WanYao 19:11, 26 October 2007 (BST)

Well, you mentioned the Ramones, which is commonly attributed to the Song Free Bird, so I decided I might as well mess with you. --KamdenM|W|T|H 19:14, 26 October 2007 (BST)
Did you mean this song? I am still confused... :) --WanYao 21:41, 26 October 2007 (BST)
I mean this this one fool! It's still a Ramones classic, even though Lynard Sykes is the one who wrote and performed it. --KamdenM|W|T|H 21:44, 26 October 2007 (BST)
**blinks in astonishment and probable dismay** Okay, honestly, I have NEVER heard, or heard of, that song before in my life... --WanYao 22:01, 26 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] RE: Ruddlebank

As of this writing, Tompson survivors have probably retaken Cheeke. Last count there was 5 zeds in it, down from 37 yesterday. I know we'll all die, but the best we can do is give the Big Bash something better to chew on and generally make this as entertaining as possible.-- AHLGTH 20:02, 25 October 2007 (BST)

Oh Shiggules no! We'll take Cheeke back within the day though,so don't get your hopes up. Already, the zombies have ruined a large swath of Ruddlebank. --KamdenM|W|T|H 20:11, 25 October 2007 (BST)
An enjoyable little fight at Tikhon. I escaped with the cheesy poofs at the last possible second, and now I'm hiding at... someplace. So if the zombies think they're eating our poofs, they aren't. They might make sure it's not Target Zombie's sock, as he's been losing toes of late - not that the zombies will mind. I look forward to another round at Tikhon East in Dartside. elbert gray 18:32, 27 October 2007 (BST)
The Tikhon Slaughter eh? Well, after we're through with Lockettside we'll hike over there to take a look at your tanning beds. Better keep 'em ready. --KamdenM|W|T|H 18:34, 27 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] Re: Nalikill Vandal Banning

I'd assume so, as some people have argued that abusing the administration pages requires punishment. --Akule School's in session. 00:32, 24 October 2007 (BST)

This can't even be vandalism. Under the Guidelines, it's not vandalism. --KamdenM|W|T|H 00:34, 24 October 2007 (BST)
I didn't think that reporting people for vandalism or following guidelines and policies could be "abusing the administration pages", but here we are. I can see how the sysops would be irritated by having a user make edits to the administration pages when they are really meant as jokes, but you are right. There are no guidelines for it, or the "rule" of unofficial warnings becoming real warnings. I figure that it should be hammered out in policy documents if it is becoming this much of a problem (like with Nalikill's behavior of late). --Akule School's in session. 00:39, 24 October 2007 (BST)
It's not, especially since he struck his "Keep" vote. Quite a minor thing too, if I may add...-- AHLGTH 00:40, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Yeah, this is complete crap. Obvisously, we need to hammer out a policy on this. --KamdenM|W|T|H 00:41, 24 October 2007 (BST)
I agree. He admits he was just doing it for fun, but that sort of thing should be discouraged. --Akule School's in session. 00:46, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Indeed, but on this case, Grim should not be ruling. It's like having the same jury that convicted you of jury, but then it was appealed, rule on your DUI case.--KamdenM|W|T|H 00:48, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Oh, I agree with that wholeheartedly. Fortunately, I believe that is why Grim is waiting for another sysop to see if they back his assertion or not. I expect an arbitration case in Nali's future, because he is just completely ignoring why they are unofficially warning him. --Akule School's in session. 01:01, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Good point. However, hammering out a policy that states "Regular users may not post on the admistration pages." would seem very blunt. The last guidelines policy failed because it was just that, a guideline. Therefore, what do you think is the best reworking of the previous policy to suit the needs of the sysops?--KamdenM|W|T|H 01:03, 24 October 2007 (BST)
I'd make it so that users cannot post joke requests in the administration pages, and use examples such as UDWiki_talk:Administration/Arbitration#Sonny_Corleone_vs._karek_vs._Mickey_Mouse (which was posted in the general arbitration pages here) and Nali's recent deletion request. Just mention how it wastes time for the administrations and is not an appropriate use of the administration pages. Now, we'd have to carefully word how to spot the joke requests, lest it become a tool to unjustly punish serious requests. How do they determine if a suggestion is a joke request? --Akule School's in session. 01:09, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Hmm...Good question. Perhaps, "If the page/request/deletion at hand appears to be humourous in nature, and two or more Sysops agree it is, the user who placed it there shall recieve a warning."?--KamdenM|W|T|H 01:12, 24 October 2007 (BST)
We got warned by Vista for doing that.--Karekmaps?! 01:12, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Well,Karek, join in the discussion. The problem is with my rewording is that there is a potential for abuse. Any ideas? --KamdenM|W|T|H 01:14, 24 October 2007 (BST)
I know. I wanted to cite examples so that people could see what was considered a joke request on the administration pages. --Akule School's in session. 01:19, 24 October 2007 (BST)
More sysop confirmation. 3?-- AHLGTH 01:15, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Hm....Maybe. But the problem is that we'd need three sysops.....Hmm...Maybe, if we made a template that said "The above request/deletion/whatever may be humourous. May the sysops confirm/deny this?". Unfortunately, this introduces bureacrcy into the system. --KamdenM|W|T|H 01:18, 24 October 2007 (BST)
I'd make it an odd number, like three, to give a "majority". If there is some controversy (say one thinks it is not a joke), then the issue goes to a proper vote. --Akule School's in session. 01:19, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Well, needless burecracy it is then. 3 would do it, perhaps we should begin working on it in someone's sandbox?Your's or mine? --KamdenM|W|T|H 01:21, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Isn't that the motto of our wiki? ;) Sure, we can do it on yours. I'd assume we'd call it something like: "Policy Against Joke/Fake Requests of Administration Services". Or some such. --Akule School's in session. 01:34, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Sounds good.Let's get cracking shall we. You first though, : D.--KamdenM|W|T|H 01:35, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Sure. Would you provide the page? I can write out a basic outline. --Akule School's in session. 01:44, 24 October 2007 (BST)

But 3 is Thr33 is the magic number. Also "Fake Requests of Administration Services" sounds long and imporant enough.-- AHLGTH 01:38, 24 October 2007 (BST)

Ooo. Worded even better than I did. Then again, I am not an English major. :D --Akule School's in session. 01:44, 24 October 2007 (BST)

So, I posted a rough draft. Discuss. --Akule School's in session. 02:11, 24 October 2007 (BST)

It was good until you said it takes 3 sysops to rule against such cases, or that it would take a voting to decide on the matter if anyone else ruled against punishment. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 17:59, 24 October 2007 (BST)
Perhaps a way to help avoid this is to make so that only sysops made contest the validity of a request? What do you think Akule? --KamdenM|W|T|H 18:08, 24 October 2007 (BST)

I really don't want to get into this mess, so I'll let for someone else rule. --Z. slay3r Talk  02:15, 24 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] Siege-y Tactics

Sorry, I disagree with you. I've outlasted zombie attacks by healing myself and others plenty of times. If you kill the zombie while it has AP, it'll just stand back up and keep ripping you to shreds. But you keep healing till it runs out of AP, then kill it, you've done better. But that's just my opinion.--Lachryma 23:06, 1 August 2007 (BST)

[edit] Safe topic

Hello, it is only a basic idea that i thought ppl would like to discuss. The Barricade status could be easily introduced. Recording this would be very usefull to low level survivors looking for buildings to enter instead of wasting valuable AP. So if you are in a building within Pegton it would be good if you could record the current barricade status so that the current arricade policy can be kept in check. --Bono Landy 16:20, 9 July 2007 (BST)

Psst! Dux! Read the top of the page! New discussion on top!!! --Axe Hack is Against the New Facebook 15:14, 10 May 2007 (BST)
It's Ok,Axe. But thanks, Dux, I'll make the header background black. --KamdenM|W|T|H 15:15, 10 May 2007 (BST)
Yes! I'm exempt from common law! --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 15:32, 10 May 2007 (BST)
For calling my page nice. --KamdenM|W|T|H 15:39, 10 May 2007 (BST)

Why do I deserve Sainthood?? --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 07:19, 12 May 2007 (BST)

Hell, why don't you? Besides, it a joke. --KamdenM|W|T|H 13:44, 12 May 2007 (BST)
Oh, I know it's a joke, I just didn't know if it was alluding to something or a result of something. And yes, I do find it quite funny! In fact, that template might go on my page.... --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 04:14, 14 May 2007 (BST)

Dude, you should put the sainthood voting link in your sig so it gets more attention - I think it's pretty funny! --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 04:17, 14 May 2007 (BST)

Just did. My sig seems kinda of long, but I'll see. --KamdenM|W|T|H 04:33, 14 May 2007 (BST)

[edit] Gage's goodbye

I just wanted to tell you: aren't you having a really bad attitude towards him? I mean, he's even saying goodbye and wants to have some last words with those that appreciated his stay here, but you fill all the page with bothersome snide remarks and silly finger-points-to-non-important-facts. That's trollish, and even if you HATED Gage you should respect that he's trying to have a nice and clean last moment, instead of baiting him until he bites or walks away with a final bitter taste of this place.

I know that maybe it's not the most appropiate for me to point this out, but SOMEONE had to tell you. Just that. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 06:02, 10 May 2007 (BST)

This coming from you. Yeah, think I'm a little bitter? No, I'm extremely bitter. He should have been run off the wiki like he did to Sirens.

And, I'm not the one being an ass.

That's exactly the point. He tells everyone he is a girl, and then tries to act as if he is one. Either it is just some sort of fantasy, or dissociative identity disorder. My conversations with "her" make me believe it is the latter. "She" says that she is female, and that her "host" body is male. I couldn't make this shit up man.--Gage 06:24, 10 May 2007 (BST)

Is it me? Or is it him? Yeah, thats what I thought.--KamdenM|W|T|H 14:54, 10 May 2007 (BST)

[edit] NT Status Map Design Update

As you are one of the people who actively updates the map related pages, I figured I'd alert you to the design change, and ask for feedback on it. I've made the change to the entire top row of suburbs plus a few others; please help out by changing other suburbs over to this format if you can, especially when making updates. --Seb_WiersctdpImagine 21:15, 28 April 2007 (BST)

Well, Actually Swiers. I jsut made the inital update on it. I don't actually edit it's status.I'm not the right person to ask. --KamdenM|W|T|H 18:56, 29 April 2007 (BST)

[edit] R.E.:just saying

How do you do that? --The Last Saxon 05:59, 28 April 2007 (BST)

You put #REDIRECTExamplepage on the page, and it will redirect. --KamdenM|W|T|H 06:00, 28 April 2007 (BST)
thanks! fixing that now --The Last Saxon 06:03, 28 April 2007 (BST)
No problem. --KamdenM|W|T|H 06:06, 28 April 2007 (BST)

[edit] Fixed That For You

I noticed your comment on the Malton Examiner, and I fixed the mistakes.

-- Student VM 03:26, 13 April 2007 (BST)

Thank you, I hope that carries over into all the issues after.--KamdenM|W|T|H 03:27, 13 April 2007 (BST)
Yes, I'm going through and editing the rest of them as we speak. -- Student VM 03:35, 13 April 2007 (BST)
Thank you, that will greatly improve the quality of articles. --KamdenM|W|T|H 03:47, 13 April 2007 (BST)

Yep. Of course, Good chance I won't win. --Kamden 15:29, 7 April 2007 (BST)

[edit] The Kemmis Building

Just a heads up, the The Kemmis Building is not in Lerwill Heights it is in Shore Hills. I only am telling you this because you redirected Lerwill Heights Buildings to The Kemmis Building and The Kemmis Building to Shore Hills Buildings. I got rid of the redirect form Lerwill Heights Buildings but I can't add the 9 block template right now so the page is blank Vantar 15:34, 29 March 2007 (BST)

[edit] Thanks

Thank you for the help thingy, i'm not a newbie, i just don't add to the wiki too much. But thanks anyway. Stilwell 21:52, 26 October 2007 (UTC-8)

[edit] Surprise!

don't worry... That was meant for Axehack. Clicked on the wrong user by mistake. Oh well. I'm a fool.--SeventythreeTalk 00:13, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Locations

Oi! Stop creating locations pages with nothing on them, FFS -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 03:58, 25 March 2007 (BST)

Well, I was gonna link them to the Shore Hills (Whatever) Pages and simply post all the stuff on the pages there. --Kamden 06:25, 25 March 2007 (BST)
I found your plans on the Shore Hills Talk page after I posted here, so sorry if I was a bit harsh up there... I made the same mistake when I was new to the wiki, creating pages with almost nothing on them, and working on them later. It's not advisable, too many others just leave them un-finished. Better to put content on a few pages at a time, and work your way through them that way. Anyway, I'm also working on Shore Hills at the moment, it's just that I've slowed down lately because R/L stuff has got busy -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 10:10, 26 March 2007 (BST)
Thank you for understanding. Of course, it'll take a while to get it all up and together, but once the project gets going the locations pages will be completed. --Kamden 02:07, 29 March 2007 (BST)

[edit] Bridge Suggestion

I didn't say you couldn't vote kill. I was just pointing out the flaw in your view of DEM policies...or at least what I perceived to be a flaw. If I'm wrong, and the policies have changed, please let me know. --SirensT RR 16:48, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

A flaw? You gotta be kidding me. --Kamden 16:51, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, your argument suggests that you can't join DEM at all without Free Running, which isn't true at all. You can sign up for DEM, and then, regardless of whether you have a skill or not, you go through one of the academies, which are specifically designed to allow newbies to get skills while still being a DEM member.
Not only that, but your argument ALSO suggests that DEM doesn't care an once about survivors not in DEM, and being a member of MEMS, I can assure you that such is FAR from the truth. --SirensT RR 17:05, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Then it would seem we are at a crossroads, because being a member of the MFD, I know that we cannot stop by to help a survivors in an extreme combat situation. Besides, I'm still voting Kill.
That's fine. Like I said, I never said you couldn't vote kill. In fact, your more than welcome to, though I prefer better arguments for kill than what I'm getting. OMG! ZOMB SPEYES!
My argument is about your perception of DEM. Yes, it would be foolish to stop by and help people in the middle of combat (though I'm certainly for a few FAKs on the way through), but I think doing things to help newbies is exactly what DEM SHOULD be doing. --SirensT RR 17:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Then you realize, the reason you keep leaving messages on my page is the perception of the DEM. I am firm in my opinion. Please, I'd rather not be harrassed about my opinion on the DEM.--Kamden 17:20, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
I apologize. I didn't mean for this to come off as harassment. --SirensT RR 17:17, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you. --Kamden 17:20, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My Template Storage

Trying for this? GET YOUR TEMPLATES HERE!!! --SirensT RR 00:27, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

And you care because? --Kamden 00:31, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Bitch though I am, it's far more pleasing to help people. --SirensT RR 00:34, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Yeah woman, I figured that out from Kevan's page. I'd rather enjoy it if you'd stop watching my page. --Kamden 00:44, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Which Kevan would that be? --SirensT RR 00:47, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
The Kevan whom created the game. I was bored one day, and figured out how to this. --Kamden 00:49, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm going to assume that I didn't quite catch the point you were trying to make. You're welcome to explain it to me. --SirensT RR 00:59, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
What is their to explain? I figured out how to do this from Kevan's talk page. --Kamden 01:48, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I get it now. I thought you were refering to something else. So why do this when you can do this?
Because I want to. Once again, Why do you CARE?!
At this point, I don't, really. Just curious. Why does it bother you that I care? --SirensT RR 03:17, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Why does my user page bother you? --Kamden 03:21, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
It doesn't. Why do you think it does? --SirensT RR 03:22, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
In fact, I'm quite fond of the image in the Zerg Rush template. --SirensT RR 03:22, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Alright. Should I just remove it to get rid of you? --Kamden 03:28, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
The only reason I'm still here is because you keep asking me questions :P --SirensT RR 03:29, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Alright then. LEAVE. --Kamden 03:32, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
You just had to throw in that last, rude little bit didn't you? And here I was thinking I was being civil. Tsk Tsk. --SirensT RR 03:33, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
For Christ's Sake, You keep on posting. If you care so much, edit my page. Jesus, all you have to do is ask. --Kamden 03:35, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
You seemed to be confused. I only pointed that out originally, because I thought you'd forgotten how to do it, and then I was curious as why you had decided to use that format instead of the shorter one. I don't have any intent to change anything. --SirensT RR 03:38, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Yep. --Kamden 03:55, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] M/PM

I would have commented on your vote, but I commented on the vote of another person right above you with the same reasoning.--Labine50 MH|ME|'07 02:36, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Too bad you probably won't get it. Next time, wait for someone else to nominate you. People usually vote Agaisnt those who nominate themselves. --Kamden 00:25, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Template

...

Be thankful I'm not one of the idiots on here that complains about user-directed templates, and then starts a M/A case over it. (You know who you are...)

Don't push me though, I've had a stressful week, and I'm not in the mood to put up with much more crap...--Labine50 MH|ME|'07 05:04, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey Man, it was just meant to be a joke. Don't worry about it. I'm not gonna go out and post it all over the wiki. --Kamden 05:18, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your Sig Breaking Numbered Lists

Hi - because your sig does an automatic new line, it breaks numbered list formatting on the wiki. Please change it so that it doesn't create an automatic new line. Thanks. --Funt Solo 21:28, 12 April 2007 (BST)

Problem's been fixed. --KamdenM|W|T|H 21:34, 12 April 2007 (BST)
