The Administration pages are meant for serious requests, and cause enough drama on their own. Occasionally someone decides to gum up the works a bit and make a humorous request on the administration pages. Sure, it's meant to be funny, but with the sheer volume of tasks that the sysops have to tackle every day, each joke request takes time that they could use toward productive use and wastes it on dealing with the joke request. The time that is spent dealing with whatever occurs as a result of the joke request is time wasted and disrupts the normal day to day activity of the UDWiki administration.

[edit] What To Do About It

If the page/request/deletion at hand appears to be humorous in nature (and not considered to be in good faith), anyone can report it on the Vandal Banning page. Once there, a sysop should determine the validity of the request through standard methods (confirmation from the poster, checking the history of the user, assuming intent from the request). Then, if three or more Sysops agree that the request is, the user who placed it there shall receive a warning (or the next step on the tree). If the ruling is contested by a sysop, then a general vote of available sysops shall be made in order to determine the validity of the request. The idea is to not punish valid requests (no matter how threadbare they might be), but only those requests that are made for "fun" or are not serious in nature.
