"If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'" -- Poetry book

A little information on why I am the way I am.

Before the zombies ever showed up I was in my junior year of High school. My dad was never home, because he was working on a big Necro Tech project of some sort. He couldn't explain it to me, it was classified. He always wore his favorite lab coat with the initials A.R.T.I.N.A.C. on the back, but wasnt around too often to explain the meaning. My mom was always out of town at a business meeting or making a presentation of some sort, and often I could go months without seeing her. So after school I would head down to the fire department to hang out with my best friend, Chief Riley. He taught me how to properly swing an axe and even gave me his old and worn out jacket from when he first became a chief. Then one day while hanging out there it happened, the outbreaks happened, and I knew I couldn't go home because of the zombies walking the streets. I tried my hardest to stay in school, but shortly there after the schools closed. So one day, after seeing if my dad had gotten home, I started hearing groaning sounds. I knew this could only be the zeds. I ran to tell Riley, but the zeds beat me there. I found Riley, but not as he was when I left. They turned him into another zed. So I did the only thing I thought of, grab an axe and kill them all. I even cut Riley to peaces to prevent him from ever coming back as a zed again.

What I am today.

I am now only a faint image of my former self. I walk the streets executing every zed I find. You see me with two homemade axe carrying straps with an axe in each one. I also carry a sharpening stone for the long waits before I calm down enough to sleep. I have also recently begun talking again, but I still wont talk about why I have my fire chief coat. You can see the battle hardened look in my eyes that makes a long cold chill run up and down your spine.

My findings in a NecroTech building.

While spending the night at a NecroTech building, I got curious. I wanted to know what was behind the locked doors of the labs and offices. I started by using one of my axes to break into an office. However, nothing really interesting was hidden, except some classified papers. After reading the papers, I searched the other offices, but I only found papers in those to. I did my best to understand the documents, but there was so much technical dribble that I couldnt find anything worth repeating. When I reached the last page of text I was very bored, but this one had some info that caught my attention. It read of a project that included some old reptilian eggs of massive size. The eggs were from an unknown species and were oddly alive after being frozen in the mountains for an undisclosed amount of time. That was the end of the documentation on this subject. I quickly booted up the computer in the recently powered building and hacked the systems. I found out that the building I was in ran the tests on some of the eggs. I found everything on the eggs I could and I was astonished to find out what they were. Seven hundred thousand dragon eggs were found and transported to various NecroTech buildings. I ran through the halls and found the research labs. I used my axe access codes to open each air tight door. After about six rooms I was starting to think that the big shots took the eggs to a different place after the outbreaks. Then I found it. The lab was just as it was when the outbreaks occurred. I grabbed both the eggs there and found an unlocked office and hid there overnight. By morning I was so excited to hatch some dragons that I didnt go hunting. Soon both eggs were making noises and moving wildly. Then the shells started to break and peaces flew all over the office. Once I looked back I saw a small blue dragon and a small deep red dragon wrestling on the floor. I picked them up and now they feed on the small animals I find, and they protect me when I sleep. They sit on my shoulders and keep me company as no other pest could.

Weaponry

I have decided to put my melee axe only rule behind me. I have searched a mall for a pistol and some ammo. I will soon have my accuracy up and will be leaving my marks on the ugly zeds that bother me. I will become a zed assassin with no regrets.
