Hi. This message is about your AR suggestion. I noticed your note on limiting the number of assault rifles in play at any time, and I believe it is a bad, bad idea. Very few suggestions passed with that clause on, and I doubt any of them were items. The problem with it is that it is not realistic, and does little to change most balance problems. IMO, it might also make people think you were trying to balance something broken. I'm going to see if I have the time to do the math on your suggestion. That is, damage/AP spent shooting, but also damage/AP spent loading (which may be the biggest problem) and damage/AP spent counting searches in armouries (which has to be merged with that of the other ammo-carrying weapons found there, because when searching for ARs a player will find other useful weapons). This information might help people know exactly what they are voting on. Finally, remember that you can't alter a suggestion once the voting on it has begun (although you may be able to retract it to work on it on the talk page). --McArrowni 23:13, 23 March 2006 (GMT)
