Though the records of the Octopope are long, dusty, and contradictory, it has been firmly established that this individual's initiation into the Faith was allowed solely on the basis that he was in the right place at the right time, with the right fire-axe.

It was discovered later on, with great dismay, that he could talk. It was discovered soon after, with even more dismay, that he was unable to stop talking. He has appointed himself, (since that's the way things are generally done around here) the Herald of the Octopope. Questions regarding the exact role of this position are generally met with giggles, mumbling about free parking, or a statement referring them to "the Octo-public Relations Commission."

Trget was the unfortunate individual to find out that "the Octo-public Relations Commission." is what Crazy Aido calls his fire-axe.
