Cyrus is a detective from the 27th precinct of Malton. Before the outbreak, he specifically investigated homicides. Since the dead now rise and wreak havoc on the city, Cyrus has given up hunting down their killers, and instead works to investigate the zombies themselves... with his guns.

Biography

Early Life

Cyrus was born in 1976 to Evelyn and Cecil Lupos. Evelyn was a curator for the Cornelius Museum, and Cecil was a detective at Dixon Way Police Department.

Early on, Cyrus showed an interest in his father's work. He would go with Cecil to work and "help" him investigate suspects by fingerprinting them and listening in on interrogations. When Cecil was killed by one of the men he had helped to put away, Cyrus was determined to follow in his footsteps and catch the man responsible.

Cyrus attended college at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, receiving a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology. Afterward, he moved back to Malton and began his career in the MPD.

Career

Starting out as a beat cop, Cyrus quickly earned a reputation for his attention to detail and adherence to the law. He received numerous commendations before finally being allowed into the detective squad. While investigating crimes as they occurred, he would also moonlight as his own private investigator, seeking to uncover clues in his father's murder.

After two years of research and investigation, he finally had a suspect. Before the man could be apprehended, however, the zombie outbreak occurred. Suddenly the power grid and phone lines were going berserk and he could no longer effectively execute his occupational duties.

Cyrus still hunts his father's killer, hoping to encounter his zombified body.
