A high ranking Necrotech Scientist sent personally by the higher up to research Malton during it's quarantine in 2008. Despite little progress in the ways of discovering zombie biology he has not given up the struggle to discover a cure for the disease in its passive phase.

His recent studies have the lead the Doctor to believe that if biological in nature, what is causing the zombification process would have to be parasitic.

Thus creating Dr. Nameab's hypothesis of undeath.

Since The creature is much to complex to be a virus, as for a virus to store the "data" (the creation of enzymes that would lead to cells to do the extraordinary activities that can be witnessed by the cells) for the occupation and complete control of a human being would make the viral RNA or DNA unprecedently long and unable to store within the virus's lipid envelope.

Even though Bacteria would be a more reasonable idea then viruses, the complexity of restarting some of a human's metabolism (not even all of a human's metabolism) post mortem would require extensive amounts of energy, that a group of bacteria (being prokaryotic, and by nature generally unorganized) would not be able to do.

And thus I hypothesize that the cause most be parasitic.

Now, parasites being eukaryotic and multi-cellular would potentially be able to store the data required for "revival".

Because it can spread through biting,It must be fluid-borne. Aswell it can't be airborne, otherwise the quarantine guards, if not the rest of the world, would be in a similar situation as us.

The parasite upon entering the blood stream, goes through mitosis as a haploid cell at a significantly high rate. This is done untill one of the stem cells manages to locate the cerebral cortex. Here it would have proteins on its outer membrane, developed to connect with specific proteins on a hosts' nerve cell. It would then be open to fertilization from the other haploid cells located in the blood stream.

It then proceeds to grow, theoretically down the spinal column, doing as minimal damage as possible, and in extreme cases, up into the brain, causing cerebral damage.

Once it is fully grown, it enters a dormant phase (or passive phase) lowering its metabolism significantly (nearly being pushed out of homeostasis) and collects energy in all forms from the host (atp, glucose, starches, etc) until the users "death".

upon the users death, the parasite is stimulated by the user heading out of homeostasis, (alterings in pH etc etc) and springs into action. Due to its prescence being throughout the nervous system, it is enabled to (with the proper control mechanism created during growth (where it grew throughout the nervous system) and energy collected during its dormant phase) stop death of important brain tissue and other organs vital to survival.

It now proceeds to take over most functions of the body using it as if it were an extension of itself. It also creates more haploid cells in the blood during this active phase, allowing for further infection possibilities through biting.

This has been left relatively vague, I will be willing to create answers to questions as they come up.
