About the Umbrella Corporation

We are a pro-Survivor group formerly located in Shearbank and based on the fictional Umbrella Corporation that plays a large role in the Resident Evil/Biohazard games. Our goals are helping humanity, having fun, shooting zeds, growing in numbers and having random discussions from time to time about World affairs, among other things.

Our members join us from all over the World bearing different cultural backgrounds. From South-Africa to Denmark, from the UK to the US, from Brazil to the Netherlands. We are a multi cultural group, and we treat all our members as equals.
We play and hunt regularly at different hours because of the different times zones.
We offer different roles for everyone, regardless of skill or class. We'll give you all the training necessary to be a hardcore zombie killer, field medic or to even climb up our Corporate ranks and fill important positions. Because we're geared towards training, development and growth, we're always accepting new members to the Corporation.
As for in-game, we are an experienced Survivor group. We have dealt with Mall/Fort sieges, PK'ers and have executed more guerrilla tactics (and zombies) than we care to count. We know the game, and we want to know you.

Umbrella had originally operated in the suburb of Molebank and after the 5th of November operation, Umbrella relocated to Shearbank's Stickling Mall as their base of operations in late 2007. Survivors were still welcomed to find safety at Stickling Mall, but the headquarters were moved to the Rush Building in South Shearbank, for operational purposes. Barricade policy still remains the same, and needs to be kept at E.H.B. You can find an entry point at the Fitkin Hotel or Luckraft Cinema. Umbrella Corporation have once again moved its headquarters, leaving behind the Rush Building, which served as the headquarters for the corporation for over a year, to a new undisclosed location. Umbrella Corporation will never forget it's time in Shearbank nor will it be likely that Shearbank will soon forget our presence.

Umbrella Laboratories were recently revealed to the public when they were accidentally discovered in early February 2008. The Nisbet Building is located directly across from the ex-Corporation headquarters in Shearbank and is maintained and barricaded at E.H.B. with the entry point at the Fitkin Hotel.

Recruitment Policies

These are our general rules for application:

The player can be of any skills class and level.
The player must intend on playing as a survivor.
The player must not be part of another group, however exceptions can be made through the use of proper channels.
A player that was once part of a GK'er or PK'er group must declare his/her hostilities to them and stop participating in that group's activities.
A player that was once a zombie spy must cease such activities.
A player caught relaying information from this group to another without consent can find himself/herself being put on a hit list. Accidents may happen, but we will judge according to the circumstances. You have been warned...
The player must not be stupid.

No internet language allowed. People must use (American/British) English. Good grammar and punctuation are highly recommended. The only exceptions to this are perhaps the spam topics.

Player Killer Policy

Umbrella does not PK without a reason. So make sure you don't stand in our way.
Umbrella will use fair tactics, to ensure victory. We don't however, condone underhanded methods, such as zerging and cheating.
Repeat PK'ers/GK'ers will have their name posted on the hit list and targeted by Umbrella members and allies.
Known Pk'ers may apply following their compliance with Umbrella regulations. But don't hold your breathe.

Corporation Platoons

<center>Omega Platoon

Umbrella's first operational platoon. Created by the board. Note that it is inactive. Omega has known allot of internal "problems" throughout its history in the Corporation, holding an infamous reputation because of it. Its ultimate demise came from a lack of members though. It was merged together with Victor to form the larger Sigma platoon. As a combat-purpose platoon, it took a key position in most of the operations in its time.

Victor Platoon:

Umbrella's second platoon. Created by the board shortly after Omega. This to gain more strategic options for operations aswell the ability for having 2 operations at once. Victor has functioned very well, and is considered one of the best platoons in Umbrella. However, it too experienced a lack of member at a certain point in late 2008, and was reorganized with Omega to end as Sigma. Victor, like Omega, functioned as a combat-purpose platoon, and it was at the head of Umbrella's most successful operations. In mid 2009 Victor would be reactivated by the board, to relief the overgrown Sigma. It is, to this day, an active platoon.

Tagging/Graffiti Policy

We at Umbrella feel this quote from a veteran member sums up our tagging policy: "People are complaining about graffiti and I say screw them. Graffiti as a turf designator is only good if you can keep it up. If someone were to walk into the Stickling and tag it up, we'd just tag it back over. We have plenty of active players and plenty of spray cans. I say, graffiti everything, let other people cover it up if they want to. They're complaining about graffiti on Hulme Park, NEXT DOOR to the mall. Let them cover our graffiti up 5 times a day. Why should we listen to anyone who tells us not to graffiti? Graffiti is vandalism. So I say, let's vandalize. Get out your spray cans and your U.C. stencils. If anyone really wants to start a violent war over this. I say let them. Anyone provoked to violence over our graffiti can get a headshot from my shotgun. Peace-theSaxMan"

As the Umbrella Corporation grows, so will our turf and tagging range: It is simple Darwin shit.
U.C. members are encouraged to tag often and everywhere with the exception of revive tags and revive point info tags.
U.C. tags should include "Umbrella" at the end of the tag, or include a forum link somewhere in the tag; Example: "Umbrella, letting you rest easy." or "Stand up Alive, http://tinyurl.com/umcorp"
U.C. tags should not be put up over other clans tags in their H,Q.s.
Slanderous tags about Umbrella should be covered promptly.

Revive Information

Umbrella is currently operating Cemetery 17,83 as a revive point in association with freelance scientists and other groups.
