Chapter 1 The Black and the Hawk

Ben Wilson threw his kit bag into the helicopter; it was a black and sleek machine, even with its colour the sun gleamed off it. It was a modified Black Hawk helicopter for scientific experiments. NecroTech had all the money, and he was glad he was on the winning side. He stepped in to the craft, and pulled up Rachel, her smile was dazzling, Ben would admit she looked good even in a grey flight suit. They had met at University, and after that they had become blissfully married. Helping her in, he then pulled her bags inside. Then they proceeded to Unpack and set up everything, measuring equipment for air levels, a sample table with computerised microscopes to watch the effect of the airborne virus on animal and human cells. Then they had finished, Rachel was an expert on Pathogens in the Human body, and Ben specialised on viruses effects on Human DNA structure. A man was at the door way, “Hi may we help you?” inquired Ben. “More Like I have been assigned to Look after you in this flight” said the nameless man, he was wearing a Black Flight suit with mirrored sun glasses and a NecroTech Cap. “Well, ok we all work for NecroTech, what’s your name?” said Rachel. “Just Black, that’s what you can call me, anyway here are the pilots now.” Said Black the stranger. The pilots just walked in and didn’t say anything, the Wilson’s had been briefed that they wouldn’t speak much.

Ben sat and held Rachel’s hand whilst the Black Hawk was taking off, he was puzzled the out break had occurred two years ago. But Instead of NecroTech’s shares plummeting, they actually increased, the bodies of over 200,000 reanimated corpses had bought NecroTech publicity that money could of never bought. Well that only happened when Revivification Syringes became an reliable option of bring zombies back to their original health, also the syringes seemed to heal any permanent damage the person had encountered. He sat back and listened to the hum of the rotor blades, whilst he thought of How NecroTech had helped his town, which was less than 70 miles away.
