A young man with a glint of humour in his hazel eyes, Mac stands straight, his axe sheathed; holding a bullwhip while sipping a Smithwicke's.

Born in California, Mac was raised on a cattle ranch in southern New Mexico. He later joined the United States Navy, where he learned firefighting and basic EMT skills. While on leave in England, he was visiting some relatives in Malton, when all hell broke loose...

Mac took part in the initial evacuation, helping his relatives and their neighbours in the suburb of Quarlesbank to flee the disaster that struck Malton.

He was standing near one of the evac groups at Holloms Boulevard Railway Station when he saw a group of firefighters going south.

"You guys need any help?"

"Hey, Yank. Yeah, we're going to Maddocks Drive Fire Station to organize disaster relief. We could use the assistance."

And that is how Mac came to join the Malton Fire Department.
