It's horrible here! Roywood is infected! They're everywhere. I've settled down at a bank, but who knows how long the barricade will hold. I don't want to wake up a zombie... Q

The radio broadcast said Unit 2 is mobilizing to Roywood. I've decided to move out as well, maybe I should join up with them. Barrville is a long journey to Roywood; hopefully, I can make it there in, quite literally, one piece. Q

I found this blank notebook in Barrville today, so I decided that I would keep it as a journal. If you find yourself reading this book, then it means that, unfortunately, I didn't make it. I hope you will have better luck than the former owner of this book, me, and that the entries in this journal will help you survive this God awful mess. Please continue with this journal as it may help the next owner after you.
As I mentioned above, I'm located in Barrville right now (in Westropp Bank, to be exact). Zombies have been attacking Keane Boulevard PD and St. Wilfrid's Hospital for the past week. It's certainly been quiet since yesterday though. I'm running low on essentials, but the hospital and police station should have what I need: first-aid kits, ammunitions, radios, etc. I need to keep moving on though, before more of them come back.

Survivor appearances

2007-05-11 to Present:
It's been more than a month now. He's been in and out of the semi-dead state for quite a few times, but he's been lucky so far and got revived everytime. He has been recruited now, and tries hard to help out in the middle of this all.

2007-04-03 to 2007-05-11:
A private fresh out of basic, he has been separated from his company for quite a while and wonders if the army considers him MIA or AWOL. Meanwhile, he tries to heal everyone in need.
