Background info time, 'cause I'm bored as hell right now ;)

Ryogo

Ryogo was a brand new firefighter, straight out of training. He was moving ahead of the rest of his family - A wife and a son - to the house they just bought in a city nearby called Malton. His family hasn't seen him since. Three days after Ryogo's move the outbreak began, along with the ensuing quarantine. Just having moved to Malton days before the outbreak to start work for the Malton Fire Department, he was lost during the initial days of the spreading infection and stuck to the one building he knew: the fire department. After the chaos cooled down after a few weeks and living off what little was inside the fire department storerooms, he took his trusty axe and ventured into the streets.

After gagging and puking a few times from the stench of death that eminated from the streets outside, he stuggled over to the nearby church in hope of finding survivors. Sadly, no luck. Or so he thought.

A day later, after recuperating from his struggle down the road, a few people armed to the teeth with improvised weapons, wearing tattered, blood-flecked clothing ran into the church in a panic. Quickly, they worked to barricaded the doorway as strongly as they could. Ryogo came out from one of the side rooms in the cathedrial and saw their hurried frenzy. He was about to open his mouth and ask what the heck was going on when the stained-glass window beside him shattered. Flailing arms came through reaching for his succulent flesh. Panicing, he grabbed his axe and chopped at the limbs extended towards him. After making contact with his axe on one of the attacking hands, the fingers of his victim fell to the floor in front of them. But they didn't bleed. And the monsters attacking him didn't even flinch after such a blow. There was just no winning against these things. Wondering what he could do, he followed suit of the other surviors inside the building and flipped a chruch bench on its side and tipped it in front of the window. Taking this chance to catch his breath and trynig to realize what had just happened, another one of the survivors began to bark orders at him. Knowing very well that she knew a lot for about what was going on right now, he ran off to do what she asked, while thinking to himself...

"Oh, my god. This must be hell..."
