Who am I?

Shtikman, MCDU member. Proud to be a part of the Armed Services defending this city.

About me

First and foremost, I loathe stupidity, as defined by the denial of truth and knowledge, as opposed to simple ignorance; I also want to eliminate that, but that begs for you to get "edumacated" instead of placed on my List of Loathing™. Most particularly, I can't stand when it comes hand-in-hand with arrogance, as it often does. This game is rampant with such people. I can understand getting annoyed with players who flat out play the game like an idiot. I can respect if you say you want nothing to do with moronic "harmanz" who overbarricade, run out into the streets to headshot zombies, fail to maintain the 'cades under attack, flock to and clog resource points, and then bitch that they just can't get revived fast enough. Yeah fine. I also agree that I hate kiddy radio spammers. But the problem is a lot of you human skidmarks don't leave it at that. You've, for some insane reason, taken it upon yourself to play "style/meta critic" and start walking around with your diminutive pecker hanging out, berating and/or targeting people in-game because they want to play the part of "military guy" or "civilian hero"; you bitch and nag, like a bunch of PMSing psycho ex-girlfriends, about everything, even down to what other people put in their profiles, which has ZERO BEARING ON YOU. Did you ever stop to think that maybe people describe themselves in army fatigues and with machine guns because, oh, I don't know, THEY'RE PLAYING A DAMN MILITARY CLASS, AND IT'S A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! Even if they're not a trooper, maybe, just maybe, they might be more inclined to walk around with a gun instead of flipping through their cellphone contacts or whatever. But no, you're right. They should totally be wearing Armani, or at least hip stuff from Old Navy while mocking school nerds, or perhaps business suits and be chatting about what Bob said at the water cooler yesterday at work... If you have such god damned problem "OMGWTFBBQ, someone mentioned something not explicitly included in-game!", stop reading profiles. Get over yourself. These idiots are, more often than not, the same that bitch constantly that survivors have it oh so incredibly too easy, zombies should have 10 damage claws, a 15 damage bite and 3hp damage infection. Oh, and let's not forget about the "fact" that survivor weapons and skill are overpowered and should be halved... Just because you've been playing since '05 or whenever the fuck, and know this person, or that person, or even fucking know Kevan himself, it doesn't matter. I don't care if you're a veteran of every single God damned mall siege, every fort siege, there when Ridleybank was "converted", around since the game started. Big fucking deal. It's a game, and we're playing to have fun. You're not cool, not that smart, you don't know everything, and I don't give a shit what you think. Fuck off.

Survivors use guns? That's unpossible!!!1111OneElevenLOL
I believe in hammering out a 'cade plan, and barricading accordingly--whether going by a uniform policy, or an alternative plan based on unique suburb situations/needs, having some sort of operational, majority-accepted plan will help immensely.

Planned revivification is also good, helps get people back into action, while minimizing unnecessary legwork for the Necrotech. Failing the use of single-block queues, this might be a good alternative. All things considered, if things were different in this game and you didn't have death culting, whether openly proclaimed or practiced de facto by unhappy suddenly-ex-zombies, combat reviving would save this rotting city. But this is UD, and some are quite militant about their metabolic status. I can respect that. By the same token, though, they should also respect my right to keep my eyes peeled for them, and for our revivers to do the same. If they're so damn keen on staying dead, we shouldn't see them showing up uninvited at our revive queues, trying to come in infected or slinking over to our generators for "extracurricular activities"... Bearing that in mind, and considering these buildings are the only place we can get syringes, NTs outrank most other TRPs by at least a little. Gotta keep em shambler-free, powered, and in good shape. I'm proud to be a part of the MCDU, and by extension, the DEM, may the naysayers be damned. I've heard a lot of vacuous gossip, bullshit and accusations fly, but have yet to see current and credible evidence be presented that shows us as the "great evil" everyone claims. All we get are a bunch of empty-handed (and empty-headed) nincompoops showing up, pointing fingers and bellowing a lot. Put up or shut up. We're tired of shooting down the same old, well, tired bullshit. *YAWN*
I believe that some locations should be considered sacred ground. I can also respect that other locations, being of little value to the living, are near and dear to certain unbeating hearts.
