Notes

ONE Barricading buildings will require more effort than just getting the skill and clicking "Barricade". Survivors will need to have a tool such as a hammer or screwdriver, or even a toolbox in their inventory, along with nails (be it a handful or a box-full) to barricade buildings.
TWO Building interiors will now have sunlight that streams through the windows during the daytime.
THRE Some buildings will have basements or cellars, but to prevent unnecessary location searching, other occupants will be listed as normally.
FOUR Items of the same type will be grouped together to prevent unnecessary cluttering of the UI.
FIVE Various items will have different states. Water bottles:empty/half-empty/full, radios: dead/off/on, canned food: closed/open.

You are resting in the cabin of the small sailboat Providence somewhere in the middle of Lake Hateo. Also here are William Lennox, Elizabeth Ryan, Megan Abernathy, and A dog named Shadow.

The water is calm. It is nighttime and the glow from a waning crescent moon provides a little light.

The boat's engine and radio transmitter are out of fuel and the sails are furled.

Since your last turn:

Notes

ONE First off, one of the main changes is the addition of being able to control an object like a sailboat on a body of water. Sailboats will always be found in Marinas, another new location. With the proper skill (Watercraft or Nautical, dunno which to use yet), the player can pilot, maintain, and use a sailboat much more efficiently and successfully than without. Sailboats will naturally have low search rates, but will have flares. To be used continuously, the player will need to fuel the on-board generator below deck, if there is one and if not, hook one up. The sails can be furled and unfurled and if unfurled, will sail with the wind, HOWEVER, the direction that the wind blows will be random out of a 1/8 percentage. Furled sails and a powered generator will provide the player to pilot the craft in whichever direction they choose. Colliding with other watercraft, is driven onto shore, crashes into a dock, hits underwater objects, hits a buoy, etc will damage the boat, resulting in a 10-minute countdown in which the player will need to quickly repair the damage or the boat will sink. If the boat sinks, the player can swim to shore if they have the Swimmer skill at the cost of energy and AP. The player can copilot watercraft with other players, however it is advised that they cooperate with the piloting so as to not drive the craft erratically. Also, the names of boats will have different names.
TWO Watercraft, like buildings, will have interiors and exteriors. Players can go inside the boat's cabin as well as lounge on the deck.
THREE Another one of the new changes is the introduction of a moon and how the shape of the moon will change as the days progress, both providing and limiting moonlight as it goes through the cycles.
