Throughout the ages lots have changed. Few things remain unaltered and their significance is elemental
to the continuity of life on earth as we know it:
The Battle between the Living and the Zeds and
the priceless value of comprehending the Science of Chemistry.
Though the ancient lore has been lost, the undead menace had manifested itself in a multitude of ways and
on numerous occasions,long before the Malton incident. Our story sets off from the depths of aeons.
When a connoisseur of the secrets of Chemistry, a man of great wisdom named John Demetropoulos,fearing that his end
was near,made the decision to bestow his knowledge upon a fearless young man with an immence loathing for the zeds.
These traits were destined to be found in a roaming young boar-hunter, who was searching in vain for his beloved prey.
The years went by and all the secrets of Chemistry had become property of the -now mature- boar-hunter,
when he realized the time had come to leave the great Wise so as to continue his quest and of course
to appease once more his profound hatred towards the zeds.
Fate drove him to the Carpathian mountains, in a time when the zeds' hordes were pillaging the lands and besieging
the castle of an old warrior, a formidable axe wielder. A fellow warrior in dire need of assistance
and the smell of a horde of zeds were enough of a motive for the boar-hunter to throw himself into battle with frenzy.
The zeds however were countless and the few weapons they had to defend themselves were their bare hands, their fury and an axe.
Solely with the aid of Chemistry, did they manage to escape, leaving behind them
piles of corpses and a promise for vengeance.
