Survival Log

9/21/07:

A friendly survivor revivified me at the revive point and I made my way back towards the police department. The one I had been staying in was ransacked, but there was a nearby one that was fine. On the way there I took down two zombies, but used almost all of my ammo. I'll have to spend the next couple days restocking that. I also learned some nice construction skills today, so now I can build barricades.

9/20/07:

Mrh? Damn zombies raided the police department right before I left and I was killed along with all of my comrades. Did some quick damage to my killer (idiot stayed there) before making it down to a revive point cemetary. Hopefully I'll be revivified over night.

9/19/07:

Took down three zombies today! My best zombie hunting day so far since the outbreak. I also learned a new skill, Bargain Hunting. No time to write today, though... need to secure the police department with the other survivors.

9/18/07:

Today was finally a pretty interesting day. I left the police department at around 9:30 pm in search of some stray zombies to pick off. But, I walked all the way into another suburb on the other side of Pennville and couldn't find any. Looks like the survivors here are beginning to make a little more progress. But, after I walked about four or five blocks into the other suburb, I finally encountered a zombie. A quick DNA scan proved to be my first truly scanned zombie as nobody had scanned him before me. Four nice shotgun shells through the skull put him down nicely. First time my skill Headshot has come into play too. What a nice day of firsts. So, I walked south, back down into Pennville and that was where I realized that my zombie killing ventures had proved to be worth even more than I had originally thought and I learned the Shopping skill. It'll be much easier to find what I need in that mall a suburb away. I made my way into the Remigius General Hospital and decided to search for a few FAK's. I didn't have too much luck, but decided to call it a night and join the rest of the survivors in the hospital for the night.

9/17/07:

I decided to take a little break today, so I slept most of the day away in the police department with a few other survivors. Spirits are understandably low among us, but everybody still wants to overcome these zombies. After I woke up, I searched for some more ammo; found a lot of shotgun shells and a few pistol clips. These'll come in handy tomorrow or Wednesday when I go zombie hunting.

9/16/07:

I spent the whole day searching for ammo in the police department, but I didn't find as much as I should have. Looks like I'm gonna have to spend tomorrow stocking up on ammo too before taking my chances out on the streets with some more zombies.

9/15/07:

After over a month of aimlessly wandering the streets of Malton, I have stumbled upon the suburb of Pennville, where I hope to stay for a while. Not too much action today. I left the safety of a police department to take down a zombie, but I kept missing it. Luckily, I was able to kill it and get back into a building just in time. After resting for a while, I quickly made my way back to the police department, jumping from building to building so that I didn't need to return to the streets. Due to killing the zombie, I was also able to learn a new skill, the zombie hunter Headshot. Today was a pretty good day overall, though I'm running low on ammo.
