- Cheers for the note. :) --Timothy Askins 07:59, 23 Oct 2005 (BST)

Are you the same AlexeiVorYaruk from the therverse boards? --LibrarianBrent 03:30, 27 Oct 2005 (BST)

Indeed I am, long departed though I may be. BTW, Tell Jason he's a Fuckwit for me would you?
Er, why? What did he do? --LibrarianBrent 23:28, 27 Oct 2005 (BST)
Baned me for no good reason. Also before that ALL I had tryed to do was improve/promote the game, but jason just kept geting more and more pissy about it. All in all its a great game, but the man who designed it is a jerk, which is a pity because that will likely kill the game in the end.
I thought that was KageNeko, not him... anyway, he can write a good game, but I do not agree with his moderation style at all. What did you do to get banned? --LibrarianBrent 06:33, 6 Nov 2005 (GMT)
Basicly I would not let him rest on his laurls. I was the one that 'more-or-less' Forced him to create the 'rules creation' area of the boards. He HATED that. when he gave me ateporary ban for all the "Progress at MY speed!" stuff, I sent him a note saying 'BACK OFF DUDE!' At that point he baned me. Whats more he dident have the guts to do it himself, he had his wife do it for him. Coward.--Alexei Yaruk 07:19, 6 Nov 2005 (GMT)

I really hope that your IP address isn't --LibrarianBrent 02:57, 22 Dec 2005 (GMT)

I Wouldnt know. Alexei Yaruk 16:41, 23 Dec 2005 (GMT)

I am VOR.

"Vor?" From the goddess, the Bujold books, or neither?--SA-TA-EK-Rumisiel 20:05, 27 Oct 2005 (BST)

Yes, as in the Rank from Bariar. --Alexei Yaruk 05:43, 6 Nov 2005 (GMT)

  • What "data" lead you to the conclusion that the CoL were defunct? I'm no longer a Councillor but Council activity has been rising if anything. We're at Caiger Mall, there are currently two major operations ongoing and there have been plenty of reports of our activities on the forum. --Daxx 10:41, 23 Nov 2005 (GMT)
  • No new wiki data, and those I talked to have sayed that they have heard a vast dead silence from your Quarter. My mistake. --Alexei Yaruk 03:43, 24 Nov 2005 (GMT)
There was plenty of new wiki data, regardless of what Katthew might say. Thanks for the apology, anyway. No worries. --Daxx 16:16, 21 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Edits & fixes

I editted Distributed Defense, I wiki-ized it for gereral use. I hope you approve. (also put it through a spell checker*Shudders at Sutherlands Defence*) --Matthew-Stewart 22:36, 26 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Thank you Mr. Stewart. It is good to see that not everyone here is as Obnoxious as its origonal author. --Alexei Yaruk 23:11, 26 Nov 2005 (GMT)

I think I safely speak for the entire community when I say Stop Using The Wiki. Your edits are usually useless and achieve nothing, not to mention you can't spell and you have horrible grammar. Need proof? Look at your user page. Immortal is spelled with two M's and Guardian is spelled with a U. Stop it. (Unsigned by User:A Concerned Wiki User 03:34, 7 Dec 2005. --LouisB3 03:56, 7 Dec 2005 (GMT)).

Dude, listen to the man above. He's right. You are an asshat. !1A 03:44, 7 Dec 2005 (GMT)

!1A seems to have a real grudge against you; he reverted/vandalised your edits on Distributed Defense. Just a heads-up. --LouisB3 03:46, 7 Dec 2005 (GMT)

I am aware, He has even gone so far as to write things and then Sign my name to them. I have refered this to the Moderation/Vandal Banning page. This all should stop soon. Alexei Yaruk 02:42, 8 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Malton Confederacy

You edited several pages, removing the category tags for no reason at all, besides your personal feeling that MC didn't deserve its own category page. In addition to that, there is an ongoing discussion regarding the category and what should be done about it. Please don't do such things, especially when there wasn't a conclusion reached by the community, regarding the actions that have to be taken. -Daranz-Talk 18:04, 26 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Noted.--Alexei Yaruk 16:32, 29 Nov 2005 (GMT)
You've once again started removing categorizations while there is still an ongoing discussion. If any consensus has been reached, it is to leave the categorizations as they stood, *not* to remove them. Until you can grasp the relationship between categories, subcategories, and articles on a wiki I suggest you stop making unilateral edits such as these. --Chester Katz 18:32, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)
I grasp the relationship fine. To spell it out for you, "Those with powerful friends get to be placed above all others." This is unacceptable.

The stated reason for having categories for large groups is to organize the information more efficiently. This does not require having your group on the top of the page, not one whit. the whole reason to have a wiki is that ANYONE can update or improve it. This is what I am doing, despite all complaints by those who now must take a few seconds to look for their group. Just like the rest of us. The amount you all complain merely proves I am doing a good job of forcing you to play by the rules. Alexei Yaruk 20:24, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)

What you are doing shows your immense immaturity. You consider the position on the listing page more important than the group itself. You insist on messing with MC's page cause you think it challanges YOUR importance that the group is on the top of the listing page. Grow up. 4 corner regulators are not any more important than /dev/null, but by your way of thinking, 4CRs have the bigger epenises. If it really hurts you so much, then make a group called 11111AAAAA. --Daranz | Talk | 20:38, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Daranz, you continue to miss the point. Deliberately at this point I think, since your profile states you are a member of the group whose privileged status you protect so ardently. I would advise you to tread carefully, you would not wish to be accused of bias.

Their location grants their page increased traffic, this will cause them to acquire more members, which in turn gives them more perceived justification for the higher profile. It is a cyclic problem that I have already failed to halt it seems. Alexei Yaruk 20:49, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)

I am sorry, but if you think that just because a group is on the top of the page it is going to get more members, then I can't really help you. MC's members come primairly from Lockettside, where the URL to MC's site (site, not wiki page) is spraypainted on many buildings. In fact, there's no such thing as "MC members" since all people within MC are memebers of one of the groups within the Confederacy itself.
And in what way do you exactly want to accuse me of bias? I am arguing for MC here, I think it is pretty obvious, isn't it? I locked the page of the Malton Confederacy because of an ongoing edit war. You seem to miss the point here and think that because of the wiki's open-ended nature you can set and enforce rules by yourself, while in fact you should not. You have repeatatly made serious changes to the MC page based solely on your own opinions, and without consulting other users about your actions. Doing such things just provokes edit wars, and edit wars escalate unless the users involved in the edit wars are willing to discuss the issue and reach a consensus regarding the way they should proceed about the matter. It seems to me that you don't understand that, since you continue to talk about the position of Malton Confederacy on the category page constituting elevated status, that has to be revoked, instead of presenting alternatives, and attempting to develop a solution that every party will agree on.
You speak as if my status as a moderator somehow aided the Confederacy. Yet, I have no more say in the matter than any other user of the wiki. What I can do, though, is stop an edit war from progressing and instead encourage another solutions. You seem to interpret that as hostile actions directed at you. --Daranz | Talk | 21:04, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Warned for vandalizing the new CoL page. --LibrarianBrent 01:07, 8 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Warned again for vandalizing the Operation Beard Hammer page. --LibrarianBrent 22:59, 8 Dec 2005 (GMT)
Vandalized my ass. The stuff on the New CoL was useless drivel, and the Operation: Beard Hunter people ARE PKers just as much as DARIS was and more. Vandalized, God is no one allowed to edit Wikis anymore? Alexei Yaruk 00:13, 9 Dec 2005 (GMT)
I'm sorry, but "Category:Groups which suck an unwashed penis" CANNOT be interpreted as anything other than a pointless insult. --LibrarianBrent 02:05, 9 Dec 2005 (GMT)
If you check more carefully you will find that I was not the one who added that. Please do not accuse me of actions which are not my fault. Alexei Yaruk 03:02, 9 Dec 2005 (GMT)
In Alexei's defense, "Category:Groups which don't suck an unwashed penis" was added by Billy Oporto, the creator and main contributor of the Operation: Beard Hammer page. Reference the edit here. Looks like that "category" went through a few edit wars with other users changing it to "Groups which do suck an unwashed penis", but as far as I can see, Alexei wasn't involved in those edits.
These edits: [1], [2] do seem to be treading a bit close to the line however. --Chester Katz 03:02, 03:40, 9 Dec 2005 (GMT)
Those edits are also vandalism, and it seems incredibly irresponsible NOT to delete the unwashed penis remarks. As I said, the warning stands. --LibrarianBrent 04:04, 9 Dec 2005 (GMT)
Ok, those other two, one was vandalisum. The thing with 'A bomb, vs the bomb' was not called for. I will give you that. But the one about 'You must not have Imagenation' or wahtever was just puting in something someone else said. Lastly as far as I could tell billy added the penis thing himself, far be it from me to object to that. Alexei Yaruk 04:15, 9 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Please stop adding the PKer group tag. The group does not want this tag and is able to control their own page. --LibrarianBrent 03:30, 10 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Yea, and nether do the other PKers! the whole point of having a PK category is that, like it or not, the PKs will be identified as such and Shot Down by those of us who don't like PKing. Ergo, tag added, as many times as necessary to make the point stick. Alexei Yaruk 04:16, 10 Dec 2005 (GMT)

I hate to do this, Alexei, and I hate the NeoCoL as much as you do, but the rules are rules, and you can't mess with the POV parts of people's group pages to say stuff they don't want. My hands are tied. 24 hour ban.--'STER-Talk-Mod 03:04, 11 March 2006 (GMT)
