Welcome to our Wiki

Hi BuffaloSabres! As we can see, you made your first edits to this wiki not long ago. It's OK to be new, and we encourage new blood to join and enrich our community. At the same time, we understand that no one is a perfect wiki editor straight off the bat, and, just in case you get stuck, here're some useful tips to help you out. Please take the time to read them.

General Editing
  • Never delete someone else's edits, comments, responses, etc. off community pages. To do so is considered vandalism.
  • If you write a comment it's useful to sign it so that other editors will know who wrote it. You can write "~~~~" at the end of your comment to sign it, or there's this button Sign.png on the top of the edit page that will sign for you if you want.
  • You may want to know how your edits will look before they have been saved, to make sure that nothing is wrong. Use the "Preview" button before the "Save" button - it's your friend!
  • If you're slow in your editing and there's an editing conflict, you might not understand the error that you get. The easiest way to overcome the edit conflict is to copy whatever you have been writing, go back with your browser, and then re-enter the edit page so that you can add your edits without deleting those made before yours.
  • The wiki is a collaborative project, please do your best to work well with fellow editors.

Further help for editing the wiki can be found on the Help page.

Project Mentor

Project Mentor has been set up to allow new wiki users to have a more experienced wiki veteran mentor them for the first few weeks. Visit its page for more information!

Your User Page

One of the great things about the wiki is that every user can have his or her own user page! These pages are located in the User: namespace — in other words, they all begin with "User:" (yours is User:BuffaloSabres). The appropriate place to write about yourself or your characters is on your user page, or a subpage of that page (e.g., User:BuffaloSabres/Your Character's Name). Please don't create pages about yourself outside the User: namespace. Those pages will be moved into subpages of your user page, and the original speedily deleted. If you want something to be deleted, use the speedy deletion page; that's why Criterion 7 was made.

User Talk Pages

Every user has a talk page, found by clicking the "discussion" link at the top of his or her user page, or by going directly to it (yours would be User talk:BuffaloSabres). If you have a question for someone, or want to say something to him or her, his or her user talk page is the place.

However, many users on the wiki have established specific guidelines for how their user talk pages are to be treated — where new comments should go, how they should be written, what is or is not okay to talk about, etc. Be sure to look for guidelines on the talk page before you leave a comment.

If you don't see any guidelines specified, the assumption is that you should place your comment at the bottom of the talk page, under a level 2 heading. This can be accomplished by clicking the "+" link next to the "edit" tab at the top of the talk page, or by manually typing in your message in this format:

==Message title==

Your message goes here

When replying to a comment already laid on the page, remember to indent it correctly: do it by inserting as many colons plus one to the message you're replying to at the begining of your message, like this:

==Message title==

Your message

The Suggestions Page

We know that as a new user, you want to share your ideas with us. But a community as big as ours has already seen all kind of suggestions, and it's possible that we've already seen something very similar to the ideas you have. Follow these simple guidelines to make sure that your suggestion gets the respect that it deserves:

  • We strongly recommend that you read the Suggestions Dos and Do Nots and the Frequently Suggested Ideas pages so that you will have an idea of what kind of suggestions are likely to be accepted and what kind are ridiculous in the eyes of the community. The pages might look long and time-consuming to read, but you will find them entertaining and helpful.
  • You might also want to look at the Previous Days Suggestions. These contain a record of all previous suggestions. Use the search function in your browser to search for keywords relating to the suggestion you want to make.
  • It may be helpful to wait a few days to get a feel for the wiki and the other users before subjecting your idea to any possible criticism. If you're unsure, the Suggestions Discussion page is good neutral territory to suggest, gather feedback, and refine your idea before officially submitting it.
  • Write your suggestion according to these steps. If it looks too complicated for you, ask for help.
  • You can't modify a suggestion that you've written once it has been posted on the Suggestions page. You can withdraw and resubmit it with changes later, but only do that if people liked your original suggestion while requesting changes, not if it was Spaminated.
  • If you get stuck at ANY point in writing your suggestion, ask for help. There's no shame in being new and after a few times, you'll get the hang of it.
Additional Contacts

If there's anything not covered by this introduction, you still have plenty of avenues to find some extra help. Project Welcome and Project Mentor are perfect starting points, but if you have something more pressing at hand, don't be afraid to get in touch with the administration staff.

Remember: These guidelines may look difficult to learn and follow, but they're mainly just common sense! Think about what you're going to say or do before you do it! If you don't make an effort to do so, then why would others have the obligation to be nice to you? Feel free to ask any Project Welcome member if you need help, that's our purpose anyways!

If you want to delete this text, just delete the {{Welcomenewbie}} line from your talk page. Remember that you can always have access to these tips on the Project Welcome/Welcomenewbie page.

Buffalo Sabres

You can't recreate a page that was deleted. That is considered a deletion work around and is vandalism. What are you trying to make here? Is it a character page? If it is it goes under User:BuffaloSabres/character name.

This page is going to be deleted again. If you make it again you will probably be accused of vandalism since you have been informed of this and it will be your second violation. If you have any questions about page creation or vandalism please contact a [sysop] on their talk pages.--– Nubis NWO 18:05, 13 June 2008 (BST)

I have included the text for that page in case you wanted to use it again.

BuffaloSabres (Dan)

One of the newer members of TZH - but all the same, he belongs there. Half man, Half amazing, he beats the holy high-hell out of Emos, Preps, Dog-Beaters, Line Cutters, Random Zombies, and countless other Doushe Bags. Shortly after joining and learning of TZH's legends and goals, the HQ was attacked and left him as well as many others scattering around North and South Blythville. Until the day comes when TZH Inevitably re-take their Holy Land, he'll just take out his rage on whoever threatens the peace on the Awesome and the Innocent.

The History of BuffaloSabres

He originally grew up on the tough, cold, dangerous streets of the city of Buffalo - all alone. Hardly remembering his father, (who abandoned them when he was only 3) he lived with his mother until her death when he turned 13. With no other family to be sent off to live with - he was put into an orphanage until he was able to find a place to live.
He was forced to live in that orphanage for 3 more years, and during that stay, he felt it was his duty to protect the younger children there, being the oldest. Eventually, an old man came and offered him free stay at an appartment complex he owned in a nearby suburb. Dan accepted the old man's offer, but still paid his rent after he began working at a pizza parlor. The old man was murdered a year after - and the complex was auctioned off to a greedy corporate ass clown. That ass clown didn't approve of Dan's all-night beer bashes and loud music and booted him out. He couldn't find anywhere to stay - and took his car and travelled; where to - he had no idea.
Dan eventually found himself in the city of Malton. He looked around for a place to stay, and he eventually found a decent-looking place, (ironically) the Dann Motel located in Stanbury Village. That became his new home - his new life - and to him... the start of a new story, because soon the Zombie Outbreaks of Malton would occur...

His TRUE Story

July 3, 2005... the day everything started and the zombies began to spring up everywhere. Unfortunately, Dan was sleeping when the first few outbreaks began. He became a police officer and had a very long, tiring day. A pale looking person with numerous bullet wounds busted down to door to his motel room. With no time to react, the zombie threw itself onto his bed and sank its long teeth into Dan's neck and bit out a chunk of flesh. Dan threw the zombie off the bed and grabbed the handgun under the pillow. He shot it clean through the face and it slumped to the ground. He then, grabbed a towel, wrapped it around his neck to stop the bleeding and took off down the streets to Lorenzo General Hospital, just a few blocks away.
Many streets were blocked off by burnt-out cars and other countless rubble, so he was forced to cut through the Kersley Mansion lawn. He hopped the iron fence and ran off along the side of the mansion... completely unaware of the dramatic change taking place within his cells. His movement began to slow, and he became absolutely exhausted. He stopped and sat on the steps of the mansion, panting and wheezing tremendously. Then, he became very dizzy, and passed out cold right on the steps.
He then woke up, and slowly clambered to his feet. He swayed slightly to the left and right and slumped under a street light where it became visible to the few people around him that he was a zombie. His hair was oily and matted, his eyes neon yellow, his skin a pale white with dried blood all over his neck. They screamed and ran away, while a lone soldier shot him in the chest repeatedly. He didn't go down and the soldier ran away. It seemed like forever that he was roaming the streets, until he found his way to Yagoton.
The streets here had many zombies knocked out all over, and many scientists roaming around injecting the zombies with some kind of vaccine. One of them saw him and did the same, Dan scratched the scientist's face a few times before he dropped to the ground.
He woke up in a brightly lit room with many scientists running around the halls. One came in and told him he was free to leave whenever he wanted to. Dan looked around the room for his clothes and found his jeans which still had his handgun in the pocket. He put them on and left the place, bare-chested with a fully loaded pistol and plenty of ammo he picked up off a dead soldier.
He travelled to various suburbs, knocking down the zombies in his way, and building up the barricades of the buildings he stayed in. He never stayed long, but always helped anyone out who asked for it.
Finally, he found his way to North Blythville... he found himself being chased by a horde of zombies. Someone called out to him to come inside a shifty-looking warehouse. He ran inside and the person closed the door just in time to prevent any zombies from coming in. The man told him, "There's a police station right next door, just jump across from the roof and go in." Dan did just that and found himself in Dear Street Police Dept. - Team Zombie Hardcore HQ. He stayed here longer than any other place - for some odd reason, it just felt right. It reminded him of his mother's home when she was still alive.
A few days passed and he talked to a few of the people there, that was when he found out about TZH. After learning of TZH's story and legend, he found a man named Dhavid Grohl - one of the four horsemhen. He asked to join - and was accepted... he's been kicking ass since, but has had to run around a bit after they were attacked. He found refuge in South Blythville and will try to save his rage for when they set off to re-take North Blythville - The Holy Land.
