User talk:Capt.Davinos
From The Urban Dead Wiki
Hello Davinos. I don’t think there are Alts of Eastonwood Ferals in Estonwood that are used as you suggest. There are NO two teams (one in Eastonwood and one on Tour or any other constellation). The /b are all other players. There are no Alt switching (one in one out) I’m aware and no downright cheating. I can understand the anger of Sgt Milton you had your answer right away in Dreads post and keep going on it’s can be misconceived as an personal attack on the EF. But maybe you simply misunderstood each other. If you want to talk some more or have some serious suspicion about some characters please send me a message or email (cannibalx@mail.com) me. We must work together in mata-game to make this a enjoyable game for everyone even if we are enemies in game. On a side note: I will move the discussion to a separate page soon, but only the talk page get full again. Maybe we can create a DEM diplomacy corner. --CannibalX 00:54, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey CannibalX ... VoodooKiller if I remember right ... Thank you for the up front and honest reply. As i said on your Wiki page, my first post was a little more snide and accusiong and a little less sincere then It should have been. I completely agree with you about working together in the meta-game ... though Davinos' life would be much easier, this game would not be NEAR as much fun without the Eastonwood Ferals to play against, and it's in all of our interests to play fair with each other. I hope we can continue to earn each other's respect and have fun in Eastonwood and other locales. --Capt.Davinos 17:31, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Your User Page
Your Character page has already been moved once, to your user page (User:Capt.Davinos), please edit that one, not Davinos -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 08:31, 29 March 2007 (BST)
- Well actually it was moved to another user account, User:CaptDavinos, which I assume is an old account of yours. Regardless, Davinos is not the place for it, chose which account you want to use, and we'll move your page there -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 08:37, 29 March 2007 (BST)
- Well, I would LIKE to use the original "Davinos" account AND wiki page, but have been unsuccessful in resetting the password there. Created the "CaptDavinos" and "Capt.Davinos" accounts to do a few quick edits ... Since my character is no longer a "Captain", and that name doesn't match my Urban Dead name (whihc is just "Davinos"), I'd like to return to the Davinos I.D. ... Some people I've posted with as Capt.Davinos assume that I'm an imposter rahter then the orginal Davinos. ANY way to help fix the original Davinos account? THe other two accounts are just confusing, and I'd like tto get rid of them, if I could return to the original.
- Thanks for the help, and the pointers!Capt.Davinos 08:45, 29 March 2007 (BST)
- Well, I can't help you with the password thing, but you can sign your posts as Davinos, and have it link to your Capt.Davinos userpage by using the following code [[User:Capt.Davinos|Davinos]], it gives a link like this Davinos. If you go to preferences (on the sidebar) and enter that in the "nickname" box, and tick the "user raw signature" option, the wiki should sign that way for you when you enter ~~~~, or use the signature button -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 08:54, 29 March 2007 (BST)

Hi Capt.Davinos! As we can see, you made your first edits to this wiki not long ago. It's OK to be new, and we encourage new blood to join and enrich our community. At the same time, we understand that no one is a perfect wiki editor straight off the bat, and, just in case you get stuck, here're some useful tips to help you out. Please take the time to read them.

| Your User Page |
|
One of the great things about the wiki is that every user can have his or her own user page! These pages are located in the User: namespace — in other words, they all begin with "User:" (yours is User:Capt.Davinos). The appropriate place to write about yourself or your characters is on your user page, or a subpage of that page (e.g., User:Capt.Davinos/Your Character's Name). Please don't create pages about yourself outside the User: namespace. Those pages will be moved into subpages of your user page, and the original speedily deleted. If you want something to be deleted, use the speedy deletion page; that's why Criterion 7 was made. |
| User Talk Pages |
|
Every user has a talk page, found by clicking the "discussion" link at the top of his or her user page, or by going directly to it (yours would be User talk:Capt.Davinos). If you have a question for someone, or want to say something to him or her, his or her user talk page is the place. However, many users on the wiki have established specific guidelines for how their user talk pages are to be treated — where new comments should go, how they should be written, what is or is not okay to talk about, etc. Be sure to look for guidelines on the talk page before you leave a comment. If you don't see any guidelines specified, the assumption is that you should place your comment at the bottom of the talk page, under a level 2 heading. This can be accomplished by clicking the "+" link next to the "edit" tab at the top of the talk page, or by manually typing in your message in this format: ==Message title==
Your message goes here When replying to a comment already laid on the page, remember to indent it correctly: do it by inserting as many colons plus one to the message you're replying to at the begining of your message, like this: ==Message title==

If there's anything not covered by this introduction, you still have plenty of avenues to find some extra help. Project Welcome and Project Mentor are perfect starting points, but if you have something more pressing at hand, don't be afraid to get in touch with the administration staff. |
Remember: These guidelines may look difficult to learn and follow, but they're mainly just common sense! Think about what you're going to say or do before you do it! If you don't make an effort to do so, then why would others have the obligation to be nice to you? Feel free to ask any Project Welcome member if you need help, that's our purpose anyways!
