Your Suggestion

Just like to say that it's great to see someone using the suggestions system the way you have been. The way you politely defended your suggestion whilst being open to ideas was really good to see in an area of the wiki which so often descends into incivility. All the best with version 2.0! -- Pavluk A! E! 23:54, 16 September 2007 (BST)

I've been playing since Dec 05 so I've seen lots of drama but its still just a game to me, still I'm not above pushing peoples buttons to see them tweak. Doing it politely makes it better sometimes. FmrPFCBob 21:14, 18 September 2007 (BST)

Tables

This is an example of how to put together a table on the wiki. If you type in this...

{|First column
|Second column
|Third Column
|-
|1
|2
|3
|-
|a
|b
|c
|}

Then you get..

Second column Third Column
1 2 3
a b c

You see? Thats the simplest way of doinf things, but without a boarder it looks a bit poor, so add a little bit at the start...

{|border="1!
|First column
|Second column
|Third Column
|-
|1
|2
|3
|-
|a
|b
|c
|}

And that gives you...

First column Second column Third Column
1 2 3
a b c

Which looks a bit better. That's about all you need for most tables. There are a few other things you can do with tables, but those are the basics.

the DH danger report

Do you have any justification for making DH moderate of all things?? I was there... as I reported, it was a ghost town... no 'cades, no humans, not many zombies... can you prove it's changed that much in a few hours? --WanYao 01:39, 8 September 2007 (BST)

It fits the criteria, "Active zombies and break-ins, but no 50+ hostile hordes", I was just there and passed a few caded buildings. There is no organization to the zombies, just ferals who have trouble getting inside a safe house and Extinction guardians who report on the area. My interpretation of the danger level is different from yours thats all, and its based on having been there since February 2006 and leading the largest group in the area. Plus within 24 hours its going to look a good bit better, so I may be somewhat early at most but I still think its accurate.

It's my hope you don't have any problem with my assessment tonight of Peddlesden Village. Again, buy the current definition it is clearly a ghost town (more than 2/3 of buildings wrecked AND less than 60 zombies... it meets the criteria). Note that in the interest of fairness and accuracy, I *did* mention a most -- likely "discrete" -- DHPD presence... :) Anyhoo, I'm just keeping line of communication open, because I'm sure neither of us wants another wiki skirmish over this! Feel free to add to my report, or talk to me about it... Cheers! --WanYao 02:34, 9 September 2007 (BST)

Stats Link Issue

Because of the way the combining of the pages was done, we got shafted. At some point it will hopefully change but I'm not up to the task currently. A Decision was made by numerous members of the Mod community before I became active enough in it to do anything about it. Hopefully I'll be able to do something here PDQ. You know, PFTP might drop by sometime in the future, (Can't be sure) but we're booked up until mid-Feb at the moment.--Labine50 MH|ME|P 03:25, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Malton Police Departments Group

Thank you for taking an active interest in this endeavour. Note that the Basic Safety Standards are only a suggestion, naturally as long as you keep the PDs lit up and protected, for other survivors to benefit, nobody will "meddle" with your way of organizing things. Just like the Malton Hospitals Group, the Malton Police Departments Group is a neutral service and will be kept that way in order to avoid squabbles between people. It is mostly a platform for sharing information with potential for coordinating large scale survivor ops. Although it did start as a DEM initiative, its main purpose is to help all survivors. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the service, feel free to leave me a message and I'll contact you as soon as I am able to. On a side note, it would be great if you could put this {{Malton Police Departments Group}} template somewhere on your wiki pages. That way we might get more people to work with us on this.

Regards.
