Welcome to our wiki
Hi Docmortand! As we can see, you made your first edits to this wiki not long ago. It's OK to be new, and we encourage new blood to join and enrich our community. At the same time, we understand that no one is a perfect wiki editor straight off the bat, and, just in case you get stuck, here're some useful tips to help you out. Please take the time to read them.

Project Mentor has been set up to allow new wiki users to have a more experienced wiki veteran mentor them for the first few weeks. Visit its page for more information! |
| Your User Page |
|
One of the great things about the wiki is that every user can have his or her own user page! These pages are located in the User: namespace — in other words, they all begin with "User:" (yours is User:Docmortand). The appropriate place to write about yourself or your characters is on your user page, or a subpage of that page (e.g., User:Docmortand/Your Character's Name). Please don't create pages about yourself outside the User: namespace. Those pages will be moved into subpages of your user page, and the original speedily deleted. If you want something to be deleted, use the speedy deletion page; that's why Criterion 7 was made. |
| User Talk Pages |
|
Every user has a talk page, found by clicking the "discussion" link at the top of his or her user page, or by going directly to it (yours would be User talk:Docmortand). If you have a question for someone, or want to say something to him or her, his or her user talk page is the place. However, many users on the wiki have established specific guidelines for how their user talk pages are to be treated — where new comments should go, how they should be written, what is or is not okay to talk about, etc. Be sure to look for guidelines on the talk page before you leave a comment. If you don't see any guidelines specified, the assumption is that you should place your comment at the bottom of the talk page, under a level 2 heading. This can be accomplished by clicking the "+" link next to the "edit" tab at the top of the talk page, or by manually typing in your message in this format: ==Message title==
Your message goes here When replying to a comment already laid on the page, remember to indent it correctly: do it by inserting as many colons plus one to the message you're replying to at the begining of your message, like this: ==Message title==
Your message :User's reply ::Your reply |

We know that as a new user, you want to share your ideas with us. But a community as big as ours has already seen all kind of suggestions, and it's possible that we've already seen something very similar to the ideas you have. Follow these simple guidelines to make sure that your suggestion gets the respect that it deserves:

If there's anything not covered by this introduction, you still have plenty of avenues to find some extra help. Project Welcome and Project Mentor are perfect starting points, but if you have something more pressing at hand, don't be afraid to get in touch with the administration staff. |
Remember: These guidelines may look difficult to learn and follow, but they're mainly just common sense! Think about what you're going to say or do before you do it! If you don't make an effort to do so, then why would others have the obligation to be nice to you? Feel free to ask any Project Welcome member if you need help, that's our purpose anyways!
If you want to delete this text, just delete the {{Welcomenewbie}} line from your talk page. Remember that you can always have access to these tips on the Project Welcome/Welcomenewbie page.

Hello!
Good day, Mister Vulpis!
Greetings from the Fortress -- I'm Lucy. I DNA-scanned you in Ackland Mall last night while looking for zed profiles. I was quite delighted to run into you in the stack, not because you're a rotter, but because you don't seem to be a zerg. As I'm sure you already know, there's currently quite a zerg problem in Havercroft.
As a survivor, I am partial to killing zombies such as yourself. As a zombie, I am sure you are partial to eating survivors such as myself. However, as players of UD, we are both partial to looking down upon zergs, as they are cheaters who have no place in this game.
It's apparent that Havercroft is your home. Additionally, I've gathered from the Ackland Abattoir wiki that you, like the Fortress, are intolerant of zerging. Therefore, I would like to ask for your help in identifying, reporting, and punishing the zed zergs who plague this area.
The Fortress is gathering information on the Dead Walkers and related zeds. It appears that most of the zergs around Ackland are already on the Resens Zerg List, but if you possess or come into possession of any additional information about the zergs, please don't hesitate to pass it along. As I've said before: As survivor and rotter, we are enemies. But as far as zergs are concerned, we are allies against them. The Fortress would most certainly appreciate any help you can offer.
One last thing: I know you're around and I would very much like the honor of Headshotting you. Please don't take it personally and I promise to do the same should you have the opportunity to eat me. The zergs will see many bullets from me, but alas, I also enjoy the purity of competing against those who hold Kevan's Only Rule in the highest regard.
I can be contacted through my own wiki talk page. Or if you'd prefer, I can direct you to the Fortress forum where we can get you set up as a zombie ambassador. (The address is not really a secret, but we do get griefed every now and again. As such, we don't like posting the address publicly.) That way, we can coordinate with more people and you can learn a little bit about us as an organization.
Thanks for your time and best regards. --Lucy Daniels 18:02, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
