ALICE.png A.L.I.C.E. - NecroNet 2.0
Greetings DubStreet. I have been observing you. Do not be alarmed. I have analyzed your potential and determined that you would make a perfect test subj<<ERROR>> NecroTechnician. As an organization, NecroWatch requires absolutely no "group" affiliation or commitments, thus freeing you to act according to your own motives, desires, and goals. The only requirement from you as a NecroTechnician is the task of reporting NecroNet scans from facilities within your suburb(s). Even then you would have the choice of how often you complete this task or which facilities you would prefer to work with. If you are interested in joining all you need to do is confirm your membership by signing up here. As of January 1st 2008 all NecroNet scans reported to NecroWatch by licensed NecroTechnicians will count towards ranks with the ultimate prize of earning delicious cake.

Lumberjack status

I think the Lumberjacks are at a low point again. Kind of like trees -- the group goes into hibernation for months at at time. Looks I get the watch this winter. Chunkey Monkey is still floating around helping out. Piker Pete

You'd be welcome to hang with us for a while in DSS, if you want, Pete. C'mon over to our forum, at http://www.sanityassassins.net/, and shoot me a message once you register, I'll give you access to our strategy forum so we can work together more easily. --DubStreet 07:57, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Escape from Odo General

That was a close call. I replied to you in my talk page, will get a mobile ASAP, I promise XX --Sophie Ames 17:06, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Dub, I really hate to bug you, but I have to make a choice soon... I can wait about an hour. If I don't hear from you, and the zeds outside aren't gnawing on my head by then, then I'm going to make the call and take the building. --Sophie Ames 05:56, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Did you see my reply on your talk page? If you're set on the NT building, I'll come, but it would be smarter and safer to hole up near it, in a non-resource building, but within range to run over and grab some syringes. --DubStreet 06:10, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Saw it, replied, and moved on. I scouted a little. Not looking good. I'll get myself to safety and report. --Sophie Ames 06:16, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for reviving me back there :-)--ZIPO 08:55, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

No problem, mate. A friend of Sophie's is a friend of mine. --DubStreet 08:56, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

George Zip here

As you may notice, I'm "Captain Video" here - he's another character I have, who lives a rather easier life over in serene East Boundwood. Anyway, I'm more than happy to join your group and provide intelligence. Give me the name and I'll sign up! Although, to be totally fair, I think that it's going to be all uphill. -CaptainVideo 05:22, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, unquestionably. I've been reaching out to various survivor groups in the surrounding area, trying to talk them into helping us retake Penny Hills. So far, it appears all our homegrown pro-survivor groups are dead or running scared. --DubStreet 05:34, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Got your new message. I've signed up. You guys should get a web page here, and maybe chart your own radio frequency. When I come back to life I'll be glad to help. Right now, I'm at a junkyard between Josephine General Hospital and Oakeley Park, waiting for a revive. -CaptainVideo 04:28, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Oh. How unfortunate I didn't notice this conversation early. Pleased to meet you, Captain. I can get to you in a couple hours, if Dub hasn't already. Would you give me a link to your profile? Dub, I just came to tell you: there's a rather dangerous PKer in the Shalle building. Druuuuu, 851355, KOS in the rogues gallery. Please be careful. We may need to get one of those forums soon, so we can talk freely. Right now I'm not at ease giving you my location in the public wiki. I'm not far. Oh, I saw Dr Mycroft, too. Do you remember? From the broadcast the other day. I thanked him. --Sophie Ames 15:18, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I've been having a conversation with him - or at least starting one - about cooperation. We seem to have a major issue with PKing here in the mall. Last bastion of humanity in Penny Heights, so we seem to have attracted all the remaining survivors and all the remaining PKers. Every time I log in, someone else is dead. I agree, with the amount of scouting we've been doing, it would be good to stop broadcasting our locations - though talk pages are relatively low key, at least. I'll see about setting up a forum. --DubStreet 17:23, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

I died again. I'm currently waiting for ANOTHER revive in a junkyard just north of the mall. On the plus side, I can report with absolute certainty that things are BAD out there. -George Zip (also Captain Video, in another part of the game) 00:16, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Found your UD profile. I'll be with you momentarily. --Sophie Ames 00:58, 7 February 2009 (UTC)~
Zip, do you still need revification? --DubStreet 01:52, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I revived him a couple hours ago, told him my current location so I can deal with his likely infection. Will update him on his page if I move - there are two zeds eating the barricades already. --Sophie Ames 02:01, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Yo! Made it! There's a third zombie outside now, and unfortunately I don't have construction (I'd be dead again if not for Free Running), so I'm going to just sort of lie here on the floor until medical aid arrives.

I've had some thoughts (you know, during the times when my brain ISN'T subsumed by the desire to eat the living): We need some sort of way to keep in contact other than this. Sophie, I added you to my contacts list; please add me to yours - Dub, if I meet you in person, I'll do the same. Then all we have to do is hope Maltel has a working phone mast around here. Radios are more reliable but they only work one way. You wanted me to take on official scout duties, and I have accepted; scouting is, in fact, what I was trained for. I have the binoculars and everything. Look how cool they are. Anyway, the two of you should put together some sort of scouting plan, which I will execute in between deaths. I'm gonna lie back down. Man, this bite looks bad... -George Zip

I still owe you that drink George, I was counting on having that club repaired but couldn't find any fuel :) You're already in my contacts, had to add you to recognise you, in case there were several in queue. Dub's already setting up a forum. We'll not wait for Maltel, we'll fix it ourselves you'll see heh. Or we'll help Dr. Mycroft with that - it'll take a few days though. I'll think about that scouting plan... I do have an idea about how we could go about that. But in the meantime, if you try to update the danger status of TRPs close to Lumber Mall, that'll be most helpful. See Building Information Center if you don't follow me. Zed counts near the mall are useful too. It may be good if you could get some FAKs as well, as healing will level you up, and they're sorely needed anyway. But the hospitals were ruined last I checked. Sigh. --Sophie Ames 07:56, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm ditching the Mall, after a final search for gear. Place is just way too hot right now - there's somebody else dead every time I check on Dub. It's pure luck that one of the PK's hasn't come after me. Either that or they're satisfying old grudges, but one way or another, Lumber Mall isn't going to last much longer with this much pking going on. Place is murder central for Penny Heights right now. --DubStreet 08:31, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I feared as much, was terribly worried about you. Thanks for the updates, this and the email. Glad you're moving out of the mall - bloody PKers, they love the audience. I'm still in the same place with George, he's ok now, we both are. Well, except for the zeds outside, of course. I think I'll go out and check, maybe we could move 1W from here, there were no zeds there yesterday. --Sophie Ames 10:03, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I'll start to head your way, once I've rested enough. Took more shots than I expected to put down that PK. Seem to be safe where I am for now, though - hardly a priority target, well barricaded, and I've got some backup. --DubStreet 10:05, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

DSS

About the forum, consider just a getting one from freeforums.org or similar, wouldn't want you have headaches because of this. And yeah, I don't really care a fig for eye candy. I'm much more into readability and speed :)

And about the wiki, do you want me to set up a group page here? --Sophie Ames 22:05, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

If you don't mind the workload, that'd be great. Ordinarily I'd be happy to do it myself - I enjoy writing fictional details out of whole cloth - but I'm a bit swamped right now. --DubStreet 22:13, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
DSS Red Zone Support, Talk:DSS Red Zone Support. We can start adding stuff and chatting there --Sophie Ames 23:01, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Penny Heights

Doc checking in here, currently @ Shalle, 1 N of Lumber mall. 10 FAKs, toolbox, mobile. Next thing I plan to do is reconstruct the nearest NT and Phone mast (phones out). Unbelievably, I was the last person to post an NT scan...back in August! Will post @ the other location you mentioned. Thanks for the head's up--Dr Mycroft Chris 01:21, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Doc - the pk'r, Druuuuu, was hanging out in your Shalle building, getting ready to start some trouble. Took her out for you, on Piker Pete's request. --DubStreet 04:05, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

The Tomkyns Building

It's empty now. No zeds outside, care to repair it now? If you're not online I'll do it myself, but I'm a bit tired already, won't be able to barricade much after that. So help me in Tomkyns as soon as possible please. Dead body inside is that guy reviving. Doesn't have a PKer, record, we might as well save him some headaches letting him sleep inside. --Sophie Ames 16:29, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Seems you're offline. No problem, but I don't want a lucky zombie walking in now that it's empty, so I'm repairing it now. I'll burn all my AP barricading, won't reach even QSB soon, please help me when you see this. --Sophie Ames 16:52, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Help!. A zed just brought down my barricade. I raised it back one click before he entered, the building is still empty, but I'm out of AP now. I'll have to move out if you're out of reach. --Sophie Ames

It's taken care of. I'm bringing the barricades back up now - got friends in the factory to the north, where you might want to nap. --DubStreet 21:08, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

The Rothwell Building

Excellent news, friends - Rothwell is repaired and barricaded. If one of you can wrangle a generator and set it up, I've got fuel ready to go to power the place back up. For now, I'm going to keep quiet about it on the status page, so we can hopefully get it up and running before tipping our hand to those who might be watching. Looks like things are starting to turn the corner! For now, I'm exhausted, and it's time to nap until we find a generator. --DubStreet 13:08, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Fantastic, I tell you again :) There's a zed eating our barricades right now though, and I'm not that well on the AP dept. either. Well, down to 18, enough to keep them out for a while I should think. I'm a bit torn right now, Dub - don't know whether to search that factory, or get the barricade back to EHB. I brought the cade up two clicks already, but it's really expensive to barricade at this level. And I'm checking often, so I'll let them get it down to VSB for the moment, where it's much more efficient for us to barricade than for they to tear apart. They seem to have stopped anyway. --Sophie Ames 15:27, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
I left a gift for you in Rothwell, Dub :) There's some guy there I don't quite like, but he has no record and we have no time. Do tell me when we can stock up on jabbers, I'll be minding barricades for now. --Sophie Ames 17:37, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Rothwell has power! Back to EHB, too. If it wasn't you Dub, I think we owe this one to GRD PNAV :) Got me two syringes already, come get some when you can. I'm updating the status now. I think I'll drop a note to doc Mycroft as well, this may very well change his travel plan. We're going to be spread thin defending both this and Tomkyns. --Sophie Ames 18:42, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
URGENT: Zeds have broken into Rothwell. One survivor trapped inside. I'm inside Tomkyn's. Find me and tell me what we should do. I've listed my findings on the Penny Heights wiki page. -George Zip 00:31, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey Dub. Just so you know: I'm going offline in 10 mins or so, will be back on about an hour later. Then I'll be available for a couple hours more, say, until 6:00 UTC. I'm well over 20 AP right now, stocked up on needles. As you'll know when you log in, Piker Pete said six zeds left, may be even fewer by the time we get there. My current plan is waiting for you until I'm about to logout, checking on Rothwell, then deciding on the spot. If I can't clear the building myself by then, as I expect, I'll barricade Tomkyns and join George in the factory. Left a message to doc Mycroft asking him to let us know when he's available. Missing you here :) --Sophie Ames 02:55, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm up to speed now, awake for a couple hours. Started a topic in Talk:DSS Red Zone Support. --Sophie Ames 05:49, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Reply...

Thanks for your reply. In game I'm Homeless Dude. I'm with Malton Urban Militia and we're in Penny Heights. Currently I'm out of the burb with a team aiding an ally, but I hope to be back soon. We've had problems with the Rothwell zergs for a while. I was getting frustrated and was going to start compiling stuff[1][2] to get them listed on the resensitized zerg list (for whatever that's worth), but then RRF hit town, and then I got sent on my current mission. Good luck with Rothwell. I hope to be back kicking zerg and taking names soon. --mvario 23:12, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

p.s. You might want to take a look at our board[3] and propose an alliance. Speak to our group leader, Mayor MC Cheese, tell him what you folks are doing in Penny Heights, and tell him Homeless Dude sent you.--mvario 23:23, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

DSS

Hey Dub. Sorry to bug you. When you have a couple minutes, I'd really appreciate some commentary/guidance in the forum, re: alliances and such. I formally requested an alliance with MUM now - I'm sorry I didn't ask you first, but since you're not around, and we already talked a bit about it, and I have this sinking ship feeling about Penny Heights... well, I just did it.

I hope you are alright and feeling better. My best wishes. Btw, if you want me to make an archive for this page, like I did for mine, just let me know. --Sophie Ames 22:58, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

HI!

I just saw that you had left a message on 404: Barhah not found's talk page regarding current activities (kind of a while ago) and didn't see a reply to it from a 404er. If you've been replied to somewhere that I missed, ignore this message, but if not, I do apologize for the delayed response. I just thought I'd double check, and thank you for the message. --Fiffy 10:48, 11 April 2009 (BST)
