Don't sweat it, i was just chocked that it finally happened to me as well. And when i saw that it was you, i couldn't believe my eyes. For future reference, you can easily see who's been editing a page by simply clicking the History tab. --Frostbreath 13:24, 11 July 2006 (BST)

From RCDC part II

Greetings from the RCDC, We have seen your alliance proposal on the RCDC discussion page. I would agree that your group has certainly improved since our first dealings with you. However I can not grant such an alliance under my own power. I will poll the group on this matter and get back to your on the subject ASAP. I also ask that someone from your group, creates an account at our forums to serve as a rep for Newgrounds, if you have already done so, have that person make a post or PM me, alerting me to their presence. Thank you, we look forward to continued relations with Newgrounds. I will also post this message on your group's main wiki page, please feel free to discard one or both once the members who would be involved in this discussion have seen it.

Zing! Democracy and all it's haste, i know. Good thing this wasn't rejected just like that, which was my worst fear. You just get back to me later. And i did make an account on your forums, only to find out that Morgan (aka, Captain-M) already did so. But, things like that happen. Big deal. --Frostbreath 22:23, 30 June 2006 (BST)

From RCDC

howdy Frostbreath. I think that [NG] has benefited greatly from your wikiship. RCDC is currently conducting a poll to determine if we will drop our sanction against you.

The problem, of course, is your human AND zombie membership. This makes your human members sympathizers--who are readily mistaken for death cultists, and who many groups will shoot on sight, on general principles. Perhaps [NG] ought to decide one way or the other.--Bulgakov 13:51, 6 April 2006 (BST)

Hiya.
I thank you for trusting me on this. But beacuse Newgrounds isn't a site made soley for UD, it would be kind of harsh not letting people play as a zombie if they want to. I mean, over a million people are members there, and we can't really reject players who want to play as a zombie.
By all means, you can shoot them and all that jazz, but we can't stop them from being NG members.
For example, a guy signs up to Newgrounds. He thinks Cool, flash movies and games! Oh, cool music! This goes on for a couple of months, and then he discovers the UD club in the forum. He really likes the game, and of course he'd very much like to join [Newgrounds], beacuse it was from there he discovered UD. And then it would be really mean if we rejected him if he wanted to play as a zombie. He has the option when he begins to play if he want's to be dead, or alive. So why not?
[Newgrounds] shall remain a human-zombie cooperative group for as long as i'm interested in it.
Keep in touch.--Frostbreath 20:16, 6 April 2006 (BST)

The best solution is probably for you to set up separate human and zombie [NG] groups, or at least make it clear in your group description that your members aren't going to help out non-same-deadness members. The way you have it worded on your wiki, humans might come to the aid of zombies and vice versa. The whole point of the game is for humans to kill zombies, and vice versa.
If that is indeed how [NG] is going to play it, you are zombie sympathizers, period. If not, you need to clarify that.
Either way, I urge you to bend your OOC identity to something more closely resembling something valid IC. I'm sure there's some compromise you can reach between the logics of your forum and UD.
best, --Bulgakov 09:02, 7 April 2006 (BST)

I thought it was obvious to everyone that we won't go PKing other players if the zombie players demand it. If someone claims that we do, they're nutcases. And the whole point of the game isn't entirely that it's a human vs zombie plot, but it is as any other MMORPG; that the player can choose his own path if he wants to. If he has the opportunity to go PKing, then he can do it. We don't really appreciate those kind of players in our group, and i've had it very clear that you're equally as disliking. This really hasn't to do with NG - RCDC, but i thought i'd just point that out.
I'm not really the kind who roleplays outside the game. In the wiki and on the NG forums, i act like i always do. I don't see why you of all people should tell me to do otherwise.

--Frostbreath 19:38, 7 April 2006 (BST)

So long as it's still in my power, I won't make anyone switch to be a Human or Zombie. If the only real reason that one can give is to be labelled "Zombie Sympathizers" (loser IC moment: I really do sympathize with the zombies. They're terrible, pathetic creatures and I'd like to help them as much as I can by doing whatever I can do.), I don't really see a reason to be a "jerky leader" and force people into making decisions like that.

I'm Curious

Why the need for a redirect called "bad title"? –Xoid STFU! 13:35, 27 May 2006 (BST)

Well, i wanted [Newgrounds] to be linked to our wiki page on the stat page. But to be honest, I don't really have a clue on how to do it. Think you can give me some advice? Or even better, do us a favour and fix it up by yourself, but that's really not necessary. --Frostbreath 12:04, 28 May 2006 (BST)

Um… that's a technical limitation that can't be overcome, without re-writing MediaWiki. proof here. –Xoid STFU! 12:41, 28 May 2006 (BST)

Help me if you please

Well, I feel totally noobish... I can't get the upload to let me upload a picture for my random template, is there by any chance something I'm doing wrong? It keeps saying "File names must be at least three letters."

figured you'd be able to help.

kthnxbai. --CaptainM P 02:31, 8 June 2006 (BST)

I've been searching for an answer here, but i've come up with absolutely nothing. You'd be better off asking a moderator. --Frostbreath 12:50, 23 June 2006 (BST)

Headings

They are your friend. :-P

Also, I would appreciate it if you read the Location Style Guide as well as it's accompanying sister documents before working any further upon location pages. –Xoid STFU! 12:19, 23 June 2006 (BST)

I shall, and hopefully i'll find the problem, though i haven't found it yet :P
Wow, you sure are fast on detecting new pages created on the Wiki. I'm fairly new (3 months). Is it kind of moderator feature? --Frostbreath 12:25, 23 June 2006 (BST)

Nope. I'm just online and was patrolling the recent changes list. (By "patrolling", I mean removing the red exclaimation mark next to edits. Anyone can do that. The red exclaimation mark is meant to be a flag saying "Hey! No one has looked at this edit yet!", but so few people bother patrolling the edits that the flags are almost always there.) Help:Tracking Changes has more detail if you are interested in the nitty gritty or helping out. –Xoid STFU! 12:28, 23 June 2006 (BST)

As you might've noticed looking at my page, i'm Swede. What i'm trying to say is that i have absolutely no idea what a nitty gritty is, beacuse English is only my second language, thank you.
I've read through the Style Guide, and i can't really find anything i've done wrong. If it's the heading you're after, i find it unnecessary if the page only needs one. But you might be thinking further than i do. --Frostbreath 12:39, 23 June 2006 (BST)

Nitty-gritty basically means "into the fine details". What you did wrong was the links [[Junkyard]] instead of [[junkyard X,Y|a junkyard]]. (Information pertaining to that can be found under the Location Block Style Guide, one of the Location Style Guide's sister documents.)
When I mentioned headings I was talking to the current lack of any here. It makes it hard to see where one topic begins and another ends. Etc, etc. –Xoid STFU! 12:46, 23 June 2006 (BST)

Suggestions

Regarding your vote on my anti zerg measure suggestion: 1: Zombie zergs cannot damage a barricade or hurt anyone. Their hit percentage falls to 0% (As such almost all of what you said makes no sense at all). 2: The point of the suggestion is not to punish zergers, but to strip the effect their HP and presence has on the battle. --Grim s-Mod U! 16:40, 23 June 2006 (BST)

1: I didn't know that it was any difference regarding zombie or human zergers. As far as i knew, their hit percantage was equally reduced.
2: Well, that's not the impression i got. I just thought that you wanted a cool and nifty way to, well, punish the player. But you win. I'll withdraw my vote.
