Well, you sort of did. The # symbol is for numbered lists, so if you want to reply to an item in the list, you need # followed by however many :'s. But, there really was not reason for that to be numbered, since all it did was put a little "1" next to Kevan's comment, so I just removed all the #'s. I guess that sounds a bit complicated. You have responded to this suggestion with "I voted kill on the survivor buff because it's a survivor buff while zombies are losing ground with almost every mall back to EHB and survivor numbers steadily gaining. while Grims explaination is superb it is not infallible, this suggestion avoids it in a number of ways. 1st it does not dilute searches for other guns and thus does not nerf new humans. 2nd it doesn't make sense to search for these as anything other than a flavour weapon (like fencing foils) so they add nothing to survivor power. While the accuracy is perhaps a little high (i prefer the alternative of 20%, 40% with construction!) it is never going to replace any existing weapon as pistols are easier to find, lighter, more accurate and more damaging) Thanks for the polite reply tho--Honestmistake 11:01, 15 May 2008 (BST)

I made the suggestion knowing about Grim's stance on firearms, because the nailgun is not found in places where firearms are found, so it doesn't dilute their search rates. Since you asked in Discussion, I'll answer, but here, not in the Discussion area. I have 2 zombie buffs and one survivor nerf which I have refrained from suggesting until I feel that the zombie/survivor imbalance due to megahordes has been dealt with are:

1) Zombie skills cost 75XP, all non zombie skills cost 150XP.

2) 1 XP for ransacking a building (though I also would have in the suggestion that survivors get 1 XP to repair the building as a means of balance) - not sure if this is already implemented, since I don't have Ransack on any of my characters yet, and I've never repaired a building.

3) Doubling the burden level on shotguns, but halving the ammo burden. - Not sure this will ever go over well, though. My first attempt to limit shotguns died in a hail of kills.

Satirical Suggestion Ideas

Can you stop making them please? Apart from the fact that they take up space that other, proper suggestions they are also aimed at mocking another user. Now I get that there are a few users on the wiki you don't like too much but I'd like it if you refrained from attacking them openly in this fashion, especialy seeing as you have quite a few friends from other forums to back you up. You know I am surprised that you would allow yourself to become a tool for certain users (who are all friends or sockpuppets) and actually agree with them. Just because I like to throw in humor to sway my intended audience, my entire suggestion is worthless? Right. To start with, I apologise if I came across as a bit confrontational - I haven't had an amazingly relaxed time of things lately. You seem to think I'm threatening Gardenator with accusations of bullying, I'm not. And no, of course I'm not posting as a Sysop. There's nothing I could feasably do as a sysop, not that I would want to. And yes, from what little I have seen of the Marty Banks drama it does look like it was taken too far - when you get a whole bunch of people deliberately editing, uploading and changing images and making various posts soley to mock another user that is taking teasing and general pisstaking too far - weather or not they "started it" is fairly immaterial. In addition - both you and Zaphod are going to spam the Talk:Suggestions page and cause edit code errors if there are too many characters on it. If you need to make suggestions insulting me at my expense, put it where it belongs in Humorous. I'm not even saying it's funny, but your suggestions certainly aren't serious because I do not think you would ever put them up for a vote. Here's my theory. I think that at one time, you made both Gardenator and DrPain. I doubt there is any coincidence or recruitment. Simple cause and effect provides sufficient (and, by Occam's razor, most likely correct) explanation. As an average user, Nitro has the right to delete conversations that fall in the scope of cycling. He isn't expected to delete them all either. The New DHPD

I have noticed that the dead control all of the police departments in Dunell Hills, making the DHPD obsolete. However Dunell Hills needs a police force and since the dead are the largest and most active group in the suburb I propose they become the New Dunell Hills Police Department, much like the Council of Leaders (new). Ideally, Piñatas would be best at any resource building. Even with a 27% survivor rate, if a dedicated effort is made to seal down various suburbs, survivors will start faltering due to the lack of mobility, safe places to rest, and lack of resources. This could easily be accomplished with a member of The Malton Globetrotters barricading a building with a fellow zombie inside it, then the Globetrotter pops out and lets the zombie make the Piñata.
