Bagnall NT status

I would love to hear how I can be more objective when updating an NT building status. Ransacked: it is either "yes" or "no", isn't it? No "partly ransacked" or "more or less ransacked". So in our case it was "yes". "Ransacked".

If you refer to "Oh yeah!" then it was not subjective, it is emotional. I have to admit it was not only about reporting a status of a building - it was also about a grim satisfaction with the fact that a group of about 20 zombies still manage to threaten a suburb with no less than 100 survivors. And a bit of gloating too. :) If you think this is inappropriate then my future report will be as dry as Atacama desert.

I will also try not to forget and update the NT Status Map. Thanks for suggestion! --JohnRubin 15:14, 14 June 2007 (BST)

Template...

Well I see you are a person who knows how to make templates(Not the small ones, the ones that take the page). So, I was just wondering if you can give me a link, or tell me how to make one?

Also can you give me a link for how to make a signature like yours?

Thanks, -- Evildemon989 16:53 (GMT -5) June 10, 2007

Hello, again! I'm here to ask a question, again, too! How you get the whole gray box backround with the text inside? -- Evildemon989 18:37 (GMT -5) June 12, 2007

Hi

I took the liberty to add you to The Wiki Code Stealers group page, since I noticed you are using one of our templates, welcome-- Che -T GC X 02:58, 8 June 2007 (BST)

Good to have you on board and a great page you have indeed. Since you look like someone who is on the wiki a lot, just let me know if you would like to be included to the leardship. And if you want to add anything usefull or funny there, just go right ahead-- Che -T GC X 06:30, 8 June 2007 (BST)
I moved you to the leadership ;)-- Che -T GC X 21:25, 15 June 2007 (BST)

Hi There, I could use some help

Hi, thanks for posting in my talk section. I was wondering if you could help me, I'm both Emperor Alexander III and Periros Lessure, but this is going to be my main Wiki account from here on out. I was hoping you could point me in the right direction regarding deleting the Alexander userpage and subpage, and also deleting my extra Wiki accounts that I mentioned above. Thanks so much for the welcome! :) --Aleksander 21:02, 7 June 2007 (BST)

RE:Vandal banning

First come, first serve. And I probably got mine up before you due to either I was already typing mine when you were about to type, or that you're a slow typer. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 13:22, 5 June 2007 (BST)

And the sig? I changed it earlier this month to see if I might get nominated for that Signature Race thing...If you like the pic, go crazy with them...with templates like this:
Thumbs up.gif Thumbs Up
Thumbs up to you!

I don't care. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 13:39, 5 June 2007 (BST)

Welcome... Vandal?

do not welcome vandals. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 02:13, 4 June 2007 (BST)

sorry. page cleared. -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// 02:14, 4 June 2007 (BST)

Thanks for the compliment

Thanks mate. But really Buda is Danny's alt - a calming influence in a way. Buda came along whilst Danny was still a noobie and frustrated he couldn't ever hit anything with his axe. Since then, even though Danny is now waaaaaaay higher level than Buda, Buda seems to have found his niche in Malton much more successfully. -- Buda Hilton 13:16, 3 June 2007 (BST)

Signature

Yeah, I guess I beaten you for a bit. You still stole some newbies from me! =P. Now, I was typing you a message before you sent me one:

I noticed you added your signature on a weird way after adding the {{welcomenewbie}}s templates, manually typying a template call for your sig and then using ~~~~~ for the timestamp. A better way to have your templated siggy around is to put for your sig on your preferences {{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Goebi/sig}}. That way your templated signature will appear as a template and you'll save quite a lot of complicated typying! --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 16:48, 2 June 2007 (BST)

Thanks.:) and I will stole more newbie soon :P -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// 16:56, 2 June 2007 (BST)
Your sig had some formatting troubles and screwed the pages it was on, so I fixed that. Don't post me on a vandal report please =). --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 17:09, 2 June 2007 (BST)
I won't:) and thank you man. I haven't got an idea how to fix it. -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// 17:19, 2 June 2007 (BST)

It seems that you are having the same trouble as me with your sig - it has too many color templates in it. You see, templates get 'broken' when more than I think 300 are called on the page. Have a look at my sig. Use XHTML instead of {{c|color|text}}. Try [[User:Dux Ducis|<span style="color: DarkSlateGray">[Dux Ducis]</span>]] for coloring links instead. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 02:56, 8 June 2007 (BST)

Project Welcome

Sure, just add your name to the list in alphabetical order. Don't worry about using '~~~', it doesn't work with templated sigs the way we want it on the page. Simply put [[User:Goebi|Goebi]] on the list. That's what the code usually would produce anyway if you didn't have a templated sig. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 21:27, 30 May 2007 (BST)

Hey, you!

Why are you using my template? I'm just curious, of course...--Lachryma 05:54, 21 May 2007 (BST)

I know, Iknow I'm not a Ghetto Cow member, but I like that template. Thats's all. :) Or I can't do that? -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// 09:01, 21 May 2007 (BST)
Most people use it cuz they admire my lovely style, or they are in Ghetto Cow. I've never interacted with you though, so I was just wondering...but your answer makes sense!--Lachryma 18:08, 21 May 2007 (BST)
I have style?! I mean, yes, of course, everybody I talk to is just awed by my charm. And apparently so are some random people that I didn't even know existed...--Lachryma 18:05, 22 May 2007 (BST)

Very Nice

I like your page. So much so, in fact:

Malton Rail

Greetings Goebi, I figured it was my turn to drop by your wikipage as I wanted to talk with you. I noticed that you updated the background colour for the Malton Rail wikipages. As you created Malton Rail it's your call, but I wanted to ask whether you would consider changing it to something other than grey. If not, again your call, might I recommend that you opt for a lighter grey? While I can appreciate that it matches the grey in the logo, I think that it's still a bit too dark. Let me know what you would like to do, whatever you decide will be what I'll go with, but I can easily find a wide range of colours and tones. On a side note, the tables I created for each suburb railway list used the light blue, so once you tell me what you would like to do I'll edit all of them (or leave them as is, your call). --Mobius187 May 16 2007, 7:47 PM (EST)

You can change the main background, I'm only try the grey, but don't change the background color of all suburb railways. Try to chooose a nice color (just not that pastel blue) I'll support it -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// May 17 2007, 5:55 AM (CEST)

Categories

Hello, I've noticed your work with pages like The Creek Building it looks good except for one small thing. When you are creating a location page with only the building status template on it could you also include the Category information as well. If you have any questions about Categories feel free to ask. Thanks - Vantar 23:48, 14 May 2007 (BST)

Your signature

Thanks for the promo, but the NT link in you sig goes nowhere. I think you wanted NT Mappers in your code, not NT mappers. --Seb_Wiers VeM 22:33, 13 May 2007 (BST)

Updated. Thanks for your advise. -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// 03:40, 14 May 2007 (CEST)

NT Status Map templates on NIC pages

I finished work on the first of the four NIC pages. Took a bit of doing, I actually had to update the building status template as well (added the xy variable) and then edit every building status page that nic uses to express the new variable. --Seb_Wiers VeM 22:33, 13 May 2007 (BST)

NIC templates on NT Status pages

I'm warming ot this idea, and have made some efforts to make it possible to have the two work better together in the future. However, I'd like to put in small notes like the ones I put on User:NTstatus/Barrville, just to keep it clear that the two are different sources of info, with different ratings. --Seb_Wiers VeM 13:02, 7 May 2007 (BST)

Cool, all those pages you edited look sweet. --Seb_Wiers VeM 00:14, 8 May 2007 (BST)
Thanks. I'm on to develop that pages... -- /// goebiTalkHelp/LFS/SR/NT/MWP /// 07:18, 8 May 2007 (CEST)

NT Status Map Design Update

As you are one of the people who actively updates this map, I figured I'd alert you to the design change, and ask for feedback on it. I've mad the change to the entire top row of suburbs plus a few others; please help out by changing other suburbs over to this format if you can, especially when making updates. --Seb_WiersctdpImagine 21:07, 28 April 2007 (BST)

Wow, you've been kicking ass on those re-writes! Great job. Just one question- how did you determine the status of specific NT buildings for Duningwood? I ran into a similar problem myself in Yagoton, and just got lucky enough to find enough info on the pages for the buildings to figure it out. --Seb_Wiers Skull n syringes.gif VeM 18:19, 29 April 2007 (BST)
BTW, for an idea / discussion on on how to handle this problem, please see Talk:NT Status Map --Seb_Wiers Skull n syringes.gif VeM 18:43, 29 April 2007 (BST)

Buda

Actually I'm English rather than Hungarian. I did have a fantastic holiday in Budapest last year though and had the pleasure of staying in the Buda Hilton. Hence my character's name along with the fact he looks a bit like Bhudda and is related to a certain other, overly famous, Hilton... -- Buda Hilton 00:39, 29 April 2007 (BST)

Locations pages

Hi, you're doing a great job on the streets page. Can I make a suggestion? Could you ensure there isn't a space in the coordinates of nondescript location links (warehouse, carparks, etc.). So the links should read Carpark 23,23 not Carpark 23, 23 -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 13:11, 12 April 2007 (BST)
