Just an idea of what I had stirred in my mind when I was thinking about changing the background colour of the images. As you can see green for safe then getting more red as it gets worse. That was the main idea. I rather got carried away with this and soon it was "Wow, I have FONTS" and then "Hey, I can make the text all scratchy!" so this might be what the system would look like if I'd had a hand in it. Anyway, I'm figuring at least remaking the current images (close copies, no changes) so we can png-24 them for transparency. The examples above weigh in between 6-8KiB for the small versions, which is excellent since they're lossless and we gain full transparency support on those corners.

I also wanted the rot revive zed to have like 3 needles sticking out of him for even more laughs, didn't seem to work right sadly. --  RoosterDragon  19:48, 22 July 2009 (BST)

imho, they draw too many attention to themselves. Must be the near-neon color palette you have chosen. The images must be simply decorative of the information, not a target of attention themslves. While mine you can have both text and image and be able to focus on either one, i think your would draw so much attention that the danger report will be hard to read. I also like to keep my works with the less amount of fonts possible, so it becomes easier to redraw things if i ever lose them (like what happened to the current ones) or become unable to be found if someone want to carry on with the work. You also put too much detail into something that shoul look cartoonish. And the needles dont look like a needle at all in the smaller versions.

And I just noticed your work on the list of buildings danger levels... dood, wtf? you are really making what i wrote in your promotion bid completly valid! You are one hell of a coder, but you really seem to lack on aesthetics. Work on that.

Thanks for the input. I do realize I went overboard and whatnot on the detail, the faces particularly. That said, I disagree about the fonts. I probably could've stood to go without the scratchy effect but I think varying the fonts generally adds a touch of style. Also, if the images are just to present information then surly an underlying colour scheme people would recognize is a must? The current scheme was built over the previous one. I took the job of making a system that wouldnt work and which was not scalable into something that could meet these needs. That said, the colors were not my original choice, only the palette that would be used to pick them.

If there is one thing i learnt while i worked with graphical design is that things need to be kept simple and perfect. Aestheticly, leaving it under the opening blurb would make it uniform with most other wiki pages (besides, it's not really telling you anything particularily important). It really comes down to which one a user thinks looks better- for instance, you prefer the TOC first, I prefer it after. I am giving up on the policy. I have relized that with all cemetaries as RP's, there is no need for all churches. Also, most churches are very well powered, barricaded, and worked on safehouses. asking them to risk all their work to help zombies is too much. Some churches already due what my policy suggests by themselves.And I screwed up the template too much.

If you like my policy, why don't you put the supporter template on your user page? You will need to put it at the bottom of your page,or under any text and other templates you have, because of some computer code glitch, that occurs in many other templates I find here, it will put everything below it inside the template. Copy {{ReligiousRespectPolicy}}and paste it at the bottom (or neat bottom) of your page, and it will turn out like this:

[edit] The Tactical Resource Points template

There is a talk about changing the Tactical Resource Points template. You know, the one you made. And I haven't seen you comment on it yet. One major change is removing Fire Stations, and adding Factories and Auto Repairs.

We could use some comments from the original creator, and perhaps advices on aesthetics as well (removing Fire Stations would throw of color balance and such.) Maybe you should join in the conversation. -- Kittithaj 19:02, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

sorry 'mate, but i am not that much into discussions lately, specially rework on templates that were created back when the game was young and we were all merrier. Anyway, IMHO, do NOT remove fire statntios, as they are a far more important and histrical resource point than warehouses and auto shops will ever be.
